Be careful.......follow through with certain things are just not there and at the beginning we just waited for the next disaster/issue. We have a punch list of fixes that can choke a horse.

I was surprised at how sloppy the overall craftsmanship was in the details. I have found at least one corner not square. There is at least one crooked wall. Most of the electrical outlets don't cover the entire hole leaving the appearance of small holes next to the outlet plates. Some of the cabinet doors were hung crooked and the depth is that of cabinets put in a cheap house. The upgrade to the blinds is a disaster and will need to be replaced because they are crooked and cheap. Water drainage between houses is poor and will need to be addressed. They tell you that this home is as close to a custom built home as you can get, what a joke that is. Walls were not square, which means drywall is not square, shotty workmanship, paint spray all over my floors and my appliances which I can’t get off, garage door has gaps around the seals, so we will be fighting keeping the snow out this winter, I requested some special orders on some items and they charged much much more than what I could have bought them myself, I could go on and on. After living in the new home for 2 months, I can now see the slipshod construction. Ramshackle quality. I thought I was moving into a more refined community. Instead what I find is the intolerable noise from all the ATV's that ride all over my block by Elderly Easy Riders. The NOISE comming off of Falcon Ridge is like nails on a chalk board. There needs to be a sound wall. The heavy traffic reverberates all though out the paper thin construction. The Poliars ATV that Illeagl for street use in Calif, is permitted in Mesquite. There have been good experiences in this process unfortunately there have been some that have been not. It’s a shame that the construction manager who should manage the building of your home settles for a standard called, it’s close enough. He will tell you what you want to hear so that you move along and when he doesn’t deliver, he will not answer your emails, texts or phone calls. The warranty customer service area is slow and does not keep you in the loop as to where your work order is. I would never recommend Pulte as a builder. The quality for the price was not good. The follow through with construction issues was poor. I was asked to say that the home was complete at closing, even though it was not complete. The house is not complete as of 10/22 and we closed on 8/10.

Numerous issues- Pulte Mortgage, floors had to be replaced and now still having cracking problems, mirror fell off the wall ( took one month to replace), windows caulked poorly, kitchen cabinets installed wrong ( still no resolution) poor design of bathroom lights, heating and air installed wrong, drywall is wavy in ceilings, quality of trim is poor, quality of painting is questionable, trim on garage door falling off! Try to hold off on filling out the survey until all major items with your house have been addressed. While we do love our home and the neighborhood I feel the quality of the house is low compared to what I've had in the past (2 custom-built homes). We had to elevate our issues and they seem to be a bit more focused on getting items fixed. There is just not a lot of attention to detail, and while they use name brands ie Kohler it is really the low end of the brand.

Quality and workmanship is absolutely awful. Huge lack of pride in workmanship, interior finishes and if their clients are taken care of. The construction crews are some of the worst in the business.

Our bathroom tiles were so bad that it took seven times to fix. Sometimes they just wouldn't show up and other times didn't have proper tools (had to use ours)!! Very disappointed that builder contractors and reps. made us promises that were forgotten.

At the beginning we were excited and confident. During the meeting at Design Center we realized some loopholes in the process. Complete misinformed and disappointed during the building process. The quality of painting, floor, garage door and others are very low. The team from Design Center do a poor job. Many things are not fixed after signing the closing documents. Very disappointed.

I walked in to my new house for the first time to find dust everywhere, paint everywhere, need for touch ups everywhere and many issues that even now after a month and half have NOT gotten fixed. Extremely dissatisfied. :(

Some of the sixteen problems we reported with our brand new home included an improperly-installed dishwasher that leaks every time we use it, a clogged shower drain, a broken door lock, a scratched refrigerator with non-functional ice maker, a defective water softener, two worker-stained carpets, and just discovered—“marble” kitchen counters that change color in response to becoming wet. Several of these have been fixed to our satisfaction, but some we’re still waiting for action on.

Quality of workmanship in various trades that Pulte Homes is using is severely lacking, not only in my new home but seems to be consistent with many neighbors I have spoken to. Hard to notice every little thing or detail on final walk through. Even after some of the corrections are made, they are still deficient in quality work. Either Pulte is hiring subcontractors that do not have extensive home building trade experience or their subcontractors are not utilizing experienced people that take pride in their work. They seem to just rush through a project so they can go on to the next ...

PROBLEMS AT SOUTHERN SPRINGS

During final inspection it was noted that our irrigation system extends some 8 feet off of our property onto an adjacent 20 foot storm drain easement. Staff had two men come to "fix it". They took 2 to 3 minutes and said it was taken care of. THEY DID NOT CUT AND PLUG OUR SYSTEM. THE 10 HEADS ARE STILL CONNECTED TO OUR SYSTEM AND STILL ACTIVE. That portion of our system needs to be cut and plugged. The 20 foot storm drain easement adjacent to our property has NOT had sod placed on it. There is no ceiling light in the flex room/library.
