Actually, I have had very little experience with anyone from Pulte, even after my poor review that I gave them. I was told I would get a response from a Pulte rep on anything less than a 7 and after 6 weeks I still have heard from no one.

My experience with this home buying started with the salesman. He was great, although I do think there was miscommunication on a couple of things.....there are too many homes that Pulte is throwing together and doing so in a huge hurry, which is causing for less than adequate work being done and overseen by the PM's and their subs. Poor quality of work, and no one seems to really care. No communication with my PM, just wants to get the homebuyer to closing. I do realize that the PM's are not always at fault because of the poor subs and the fact that corporate is throwing way too many houses ...

Very poor quality and workmanship. We've found so many things that weren't properly finished so that they would last for the life of the house. We were sold on the model but found it substandard to the impression created.

Overcharge for poor workmanship and quality

Building a new home is supposed to be a great experience, especially at the rate this places charges there should be attention to detail and much better quality materials and workmanship. We started right out with our home being built wrong with the lanai and garage on wrong ends which was huge and done for best view of the $75k pond lot we purchased, our home was also supposed to be completed in May and we finally got it Sept 12th! Three field managers can’t get it right.

When we closed on our house they hadn’t even completed painting the exterior. Our patio and lanai where pitched so when it rained, water was settling and pooling near our foundation. The concrete had to be replaced. Some of my floor boards had water damage, all of my kitchen cabinets are defective, the glass in my shower is defective and the workmanship of the granite installer was unacceptable. It is 6 weeks later and the only thing addressed so far is the concrete, which they had to take up and redo a second time. There is damage to my fence,and new sod has to be laid. I worked with three builders and they were all excellent. The vendors you use are horrible. My home was very dirty when I moved in. Caulking not complete, stained and scratched floors, cupboards don’t close properly. Scratched granite countertops, etc.

I am very disappointed with my experience with Pulte. They do not stand behind their word and do not respond to your customer care complaints. There is no pride in the workmanship and no integrity for the customer.

Half a Million double wide

Hard to believe what a half a million buys you in Del Webb. Pulte workmanship and materials is shoddy. Kitchen cabinets append a strip of wood on cabinet doors to fill gaps. Tile lots from Arizona Tile have large color discrepancies. Microwave is so bottom of the row it won’t pop bags of popcorn and takes longer to heat everything. Vent in laundry doesn’t draw. And who would build a laundry room without a 220 outlet!!?! Paint is nothing more than a primer. Vinyl windows allows sand to blow in. Could go on but you get the idea of value.

We moved in June 1st. As of today, we do not have a working doorbell, no toilet paper or towel bar holders in either bathrooms, floor tile and shower tile grout is sloppy (the former foreman has green tape on them), and the list goes on and on. It took 2 months to get running hot water and 6 weeks to figure out the pipe to the dishwasher was blocked. Paint was not cleaned up and most of the floors have paint splotches. The moment we opened the door for the first time there were so many issues. First of all the house was so dirty, workmanship was poor, finishes were not complete, etc.. Even after doing a walk thru, the follow-up has been no follow-up. Texts and phone calls are not returned.

Buyer beware. Rushed into closing before house was ready. Taking forever to get issues addressed. Construction pushes off issues to warranty. Warranty team overloaded and unresponsive to certain problems.

The subcontractors used to do the floors, windows, painting, grouting, cabinetry and final cleaning were all substandard. They had no attention to detail and were clearly rushed. There are a lot of quality issues that we now have to spend our time on to get repaired and nothing is fixed completely the first time. We are so disgusted with the lack of quality that we would never have bought this place if we knew how the house would’ve turned out. Be Careful What You Wish For !!

This builder is not living up to their reputation as a premier home builder. Overall quality is not there and certainly not what we expected. Rush to close with promises for everything to be done and good, but once you sign all care and concern seem to be gone and disappeared. Did not meet our expectations and we are very disappointed and concerned. Ever heard of a " Pig in a Poke" ??

Won't bore you with every gripe I have with them, just some highlights. Discovered a survey marker in the weeds beyond what I thought was the end of our yard. It appears that they never finished the entire lot, which not only included weeds, but a large, dead tree. They stupidly decided to sod and seed our yard BEFORE installing the irrigation system. When finally installing irrigation they tore up the new sod in the front yard and basically destroyed the seeded portions. Unfortunately, our build experience was not a good one. We remained optimistic to the end and even after closing, remain stuck with a lot of issues that were promised to be addressed months ago. We feel that subcontractors have no consistency and little experience and just slap the work together. The fixes aren't much better. As for the foreman, they are overworked and make many promises that they can't keep. They seem just as frustrated by having to take care of bad contractor work. Our experience wasn't the most pleasant. We found that communication lacked from the foreman of our build and that he didn't follow through. Many things weren't done at closing and getting them to make any exceptions wasn't possible. They point to one another and act as a huge conglomerate. Months after closing we still don't have some of the "upgraded" things we paid for in this build.

Very substandard finishes. Corners aren't square. Grouts aren't sealed. Windows have gaps. Terrible, terrible finish.

Moved in. Probably the worst workmanship I've seen. Corners aren't square. Windows have wind blowing through the sides. Stucco has big cracks forming on the outside. The guest bath has full blockage of rocks and mortar 2' inside the wall. We try to get them to come out and fix, but they can NEVER accommodate our work schedules. They want us to take work off to accommodate their schedules, to fix the crappy work they did. Poor fit and finish and not responsive to work needed

Very poor fit and finish. Many areas needed to be caulk after move in. The floor is uneven and has many loose planks. When issues are raised it takes a long time to get fixed. Example: we have owned the house for two months and we are still waiting for areas of the cabinets to be painted and rain down spouts. I have also waited for 4 and 8 hours for people to come fix issues and they do not show.

Six months still no cabinets

Overall poor build quality. Unable to resolve issues. Nothing but promises. You are better off fixing things yourself. Contractors don't care and Pulte Homes is fine with this attitude. They have a broken quality control system.

We had 3 field managers in a span of 6 weeks. We did a walk through a week before closing and when we closed nothing had been done and the place was filthy. Also, after nearly two months since closing we are waiting for the any items from our punch list to be addressed.

The Finnish work is sloppy. Once I signed the papers none of the problems with the house were fixed. ZERO communication on follow up. Seems like they just want to move on to building more houses and don’t care about customer satisfaction.

We lived out of state at the time that our home was being built. There was a lack of communication in general. Compared to other builders we have used the workmanship is poor. There is a consistent "that's industry standard" response to issues we identified both before and after closing that we know based on experience are not true or should be exceeded to produce a quality product. Post closing repairs of problems are not addressed in a timely manner and are yet to be completed. I would not recommend Pulte as a builder.
