The people at Del Webb made the process both affordable and pain free of getting a custom built home. All of their employees were responsive to questions and made it easy. I would suggest anyone looking for a new home to use their service.

Because of Covid-19 restrictions, we were not able to visit our home during the build. We first saw it on the final walkthrough. The shower border had been missed by all involved in that process. It was a key design feature of our home, so we did ask that it be added after closing. A couple crucial mistakes were made in the first redo, one which was corrected and one that could not be. There are multiple ridges in the grout where new grout was put over a bad initial grouting. Had more border tile been obtained at that time or even now, that could be corrected, but we were told it was not easy to get. There was not even one extra pebble of tile. A couple "I'm sorries, and that is the best we can do" do not make me feel better about how our $5,000 shower looks. My advice is that if you cannot be present frequently during the build, give a copy of your final change order to a close friend or family to stay on top of every part of the building process. Construction phases all went smoothly and our construction manager was SUPER to work with. Loan application and mortgage process was very frustrating. Worked with multiple people each asking for the same things over and over again. Process started earlier than expected and seemed to go on and on to the very last minute. Closer was refreshing in that she felt our pain and understood the difficulties working with Pulte in Colorado.

Our home buying experience prior to closing was very professional and the sales and marketing personnel were very helpful in answering all of our questions. A week prior to our closing we completed a site walk that resulted in a lengthy "punch list" and we were lead to believe most of the items would be resolved prior to closing. The day before our closing, we conducted another site walk and were surprised that most the items were still outstanding. Here we are now over a month after our closing and most of our items from the original "punch list" remain to be completed. Overall we love our new home, but the workmanship, attention to quality details, and responsiveness after the sale are well below what was promised and expected. ... More

Make sure you hire a realtor and a third party home inspector.

On the positive side, we like the floor plan, the location and the exquisite trim work. The house also seems well constructed. However, we paid a premium price for a model home which included all of the wall hangings, most of which do not reflect our taste Upon moving in we were shocked to find that they had all been mounted with drywall screws, some as long as 2-1/2 inches, causing significant damage to the walls in virtually every room. In multiple cases they also obscured handwritten directions in dark pencil on where they should be hung. It has taken us six weeks to contract with a painter to repair and repaint the walls at a cost of more than $3,000. This has also prevented us from fully moving in, as most of our books remain boxed and our own artwork waiting to be hung. The ice maker on our $3,400 refrigerator has been inoperative since we moved in, as we are still awaiting back ordered parts. A third issue of which we were aware prior to closing: We will incur significant additional costs in contracting with a stone company to cover our front porch, which has three large unsightly cracks, two of which are about six feet long. ... We love our new Del Webb home.

When we have had small issues, Craig is very quick to respond to help us with answers, or gets subs to come back to fix things. Overall, we love our house and are very glad to be here.

Closed on our new home 5 weeks ago already and both my wife and I are so very happy that we moved up our plans to live in a Del Webb Community, we just love it!

Dell Webb had a number of house styles to choose from and we found one that perfectly met our needs and budget with added upgrades. We've been in it for a month now and are really enjoying living here. Each house is built to order and the process was well organized from the initial contract to final handing over the keys. Everyone was well knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process.

The system you have implemented works great

The floor plan meets our needs, we got the customizations we wanted and the house was built on time and in great condition.

A number of items needed to be addressed after move in. We have had 2 Builders (superintendents) transferred out of this project. The lack of finish quality is a real disappointment. I am hoping the Del Webb (Pulte) follows up and corrects the problems. So far they have not become engaged.

Home was left dirty for us. Attic above garage not insulated. Wiring issues. Multiple paint spots on carpet. Dishwasher hose not connected causing water leak. Overspray and missed paint on exterior. Missed dimmer switches. Multiple scratches in glass panels. Entry gate installed backwards causing stucco damage. Attic light is always on with no shutoff. Dryer vent on roof has no cover allowing rain to flow into dryer. Multiple paint touch up spots inside home. Had to turn on garage lights to make laundry room lights work. The only item to be addressed in the last six weeks since we moved in was to fix the laundry light issue. We sent an email with inspection report to Customer Care with no response until we sent a follow up email to multiple people including sales did we get a response. We were told Pulte would be scheduling repairs but have not heard back since then. Extremely disappointing experience and at this point in time there is NO WAY we could recommend a home to our friends or family. Every house I see in Sun City has a rain sensor with a bracket on their gutter. When I looked for mine it is sitting in my gutter. So I am thinking why would someone just put my rain sensor in my gutter instead of using a bracket like everyone else? It did not fall there someone had to do that instead of doing it right. That is my reason for the low rating.

I never thought I would live in a retirement community, but it is one of the best decisions that I have ever made. My home is just right for me. As for the community, it is as if I am in high school again. The neighbors in my community often take evening walks and are happy to introduce themselves and talk as they walk by if you are so inclined. I look forward to creating great memories here. P.S. - my sales agents, Angelia and Allen, and the construction experts, Jefferson and John, are the best.

Although my customer service rep is trying the best he can, bottom line is the AC unit does not cool our home. I've gotten nowhere. My condenser is 3 tons for a 2 story Martin Ray while neighbors have a 3.5 ton for a smaller home. Nobody can tell me why this is, but I'm guessing that's part of the issue. I'm very disappointed in Pulte for allowing this to happen. I would not recommend buying a home from Pulte.

I am very pleased with the quality of materials and workmanship.

My Design Meeting was held 8 months before occupancy and no changes were allowed even if I wanted additional features. Reported issues 3 weeks ago and still no action in resolving.

We absolutely love our Pinnacle home in Del Webb Bexley. This was the perfect size and floorplan for our downsize from our multi-story colonial in Virginia. Our sales agent was great to work with and then we were amazed at the build process and how fast they built our house. The fact that we aren't responsible for lawn and landscape maintenance was a big selling point for us and frees us up for other things. The Meridian amenities complex is beautiful and we are looking forward to making a lot of new friends.

We have had three new homes built for us during our marriage and Pulte has the best quality control process.

The overall buying experience with our first field manager went extremely smooth. It made the home buying /build process an easy one. Our team were responsive. The new environment in which we all find ourselves in found us toward the end of the process therefore responsiveness changed due to staff changes. We have had an issue with communication with current field manager we are working toward resolution.
