The dishwasher almost fell out onto the floor, The oven set the fire alarms off and the microwave was never plugged in and was covered with a dented cover. The blower over the oven was dented and the back splash was uneven and once the blower was replaced that exposed missing grout. Pulte when complained said you only have 1 opportunity to get all the poor workman ship fixed and if you don't find it after being rushed for closing your stuck with it. There was no locks on the bathroom door , it was on the laundry room door and all you need is a finger nail to open it , no security at all. ...

Pulte Homes really did hype up their brand name, but after actually moving into a newly built, I must honestly rate them below average. They subcontract everything, which I and neighbors have had to constantly call Pulte back to have them redo shotty work on too many things. The subcontractors seems to have the upper hand here as too many times the requests Pulte has asked them to do is ignored (so why isn't Pulte getting rid of them). Starting in the sales office, the feeling is that you as a potential buyer are unimportant. If you don't buy, the next guy will. Information on options is minimal and not always well explained. Work / repair promised to be completed before closing often does not happen. Once a buyer is so close to moving in, generally having sold or in contract to sell a current home, Pulte knows one doesn't have many options and are more willing to move in without having all work complete. The lack of communication during and after construction was, and continues to be, very unprofessional. Poor quality of the work from the subcontractors

The contractors appear to have no interest in taking pride in their work. They seem to have the attitude that they needed to get the work done and move on to the next home, with little to no oversight from the builder. Our home was not move-in ready on the closing date. I would never recommend Pulte/Del Webb to my worst enemy. They over promised (model homes looked great) and under delivered (so many things were wrong and we are being told that it's cosmetic and not their problem). DelWebb homes are way overpriced. And then after the base price you are nickeled and dimed throughout the whole design experience. You have to go for the upgrades because the "what's included" choices are so bad. The other problem I have is the unwillingness to negotiate anything! During the build, corners were cut. Plans were not reviewed and adhered to. The trusses needed to be altered and an engineering certificate had to be obtained because they had installed the wrong roof trusses for our home. I found Pulte to be unresponsive, does not care about the customer, and not trustworthy. Was told the total process to complete home from purchase and sales to closing will be 8-12 months. We didn't close until after 15 months. My home sat framed untouched for 5 months. Trusses were placed incorrectly and needed to be reworked. The fix was first proposed to cut a hole in the roof to cut out the part of the trusses that were placed incorrectly and then replace the hole with the piece of the roof that was cut off. Horrible sub contractors

The workmanship was/is absolutely terrible. Sloppy work, damaged doors, windows, appliances, garage doors and the list was over 9 pages long. Paint on our floors, doors improperly hung, tile work the worst we have ever seen. Only bright spot was the head construction manager Andrew got involved and has been resolving our issues. But the inconvenience to my wife and I has ridiculous. Almost seven weeks from closing and having to endure continued foot traffic and cleaning up after repair crews.

I would not recommend Del Webb Bayview due to bad experiences with head of sales, field manager and lack of response to fix warranty items. While I know there are somethings out of control such as availability of supplies, but the lack of response and lack of accountability to complete tasks is infuriating. All the members of this community are frustrated. I wouldn't recommend building in this community. They are not organized and highly unresponsive.
