For other potential home buyers, I say "stay away." You will encounter very bad workmanships (if you want to call it that) and complete lack of responsiveness. Before we moved in, we got to meet our neighbors and they all had complains about the terrible workmanship both inside and outside the houses. we were rushed to close despite a long list of punch list items which, to this day, have not been completed. This home has low quality of workmanship with many of the finishing details poorly done. We have had to have them come back to redo and repair many items that should of be done correctly in the first place. For a home that cost a half million dollars I would have expected much better quality and attention to details.

I was not happy with the way the my house was done. Painting was sloppy both on the inside and outside. Light fixtures were poorly done. Bathrooms walls are uneven and the fan sounds like a truck when turned on. On a windy day, the kitchen vent makes a flapping sound. Calls made were usually just lip service with no response to fix the problems

Lack of professionalism in building process

Don’t trust anything they tell you and check the process of building as often as possible. Their subcontractors are lackadaisical and exhibit very poor workmanship and concern about your new home. Quality is substandard for the prices you pay.

Horrible communication with the field manager. Never responds in a timely matter or not at all. Workmanship is poor. I've called customer service several times and still nothing gets resolved.

The poor workmanship very shoddy finish on the interior. Paint splatter on the laminate flooring. Microwave not install correctly, door casings uneven at the top bat caulking throughout the home. Very sloppy inside out

I have nothing good to say about Pulte homes. I paid almost half a million for my house and have been very disappointed in the quality of work. Nicks in laminate flooring, screw holes in the garage where they put up the garage door wrong but neglected to fix the holes. Sloppy finish work the caulking is bad throughout the whole house. The microwave was not installed correctly, the kitchen range is crooked and don’t even get me started on the staircase railing. When the come to fix something the usually make it worse. Our sales person was inept and after we signed lost interest in us and the house! The construction foreman had only one interest and it was for us to sign off on extremely poor construction.

Many people buy here for the Sun City name and life style. Del Webb is stamping out homes and only concerned in profit. The finish work is extremely poor. Ironically, the options we paid for were among the worst! The construction supervisor is in a bad spot as they can't hire or fire workers that don't have a clue to what they are doing. Lots of room for improvement for Pulte: 1. Be forthright at beginning how real estate fees are managed. If client does not use a real estate agent, this fee should go to benefit of buyer. 2. Have drawings to show what is “standard”, so that you know what your base is when Selecting options. Pulte refused to give us base model electrical drawings for house despite our repeated requests. 3. Hire workers with minimum level of craftsmanship and improve quality control procedures. We move in March 25th. Understand the virus but we have been linking with MANY issues that could have been resolved without coming inside. Issues are from not lights, missing kitchen shelves, Magyar ari conditions issues, quality issues all over...... very disappointed.

The whole process of building a house with Pulte at Sun City was very frustrating! Nobody was responsible for anything and we were constantly ignored: no pre-drywall walk through either even if they clearly states it as one of two they do and we sent them MANY emails and texts! The only person who tried to make things better was Jon, our last field supervisor. But he came after the house was completed. A few days after we closed on the house, there was water leak from the ceiling, but the supervisor for plumbing said ‘it happens’!

Having purchased a number of new homes over the years, I was extremely disappointed with the build quality of this new home. It would appear that the sub-contractors, were in a hurry to complete their part of the construction. I am also surprised that the builders walk through did not identify a number of issues.

I hope the house was framed better than it was finished. Absolute worst finish job I have ever seen. From nails in the front of cabinets (where they could be seen) to scared up doors and door frames that they tried to cover with caulking to iron door hinges that were painted white ( not supposed to be painted). The paint job on the walls was so thin you can see through it. At one time there were 3 building supervisors marking up the house with blue tape for the carpenters and painters to come back and redo there work. They are all about the $. Once they have your money, you become irrelevant. Someone to be ignored. The customer service is non existent. Quality of workmanship is that of a 4 year old. The only good thing is the clubhouse and the residents. If you buy a started home you can not change ANYTHING.

You must hire your own Home Inspector because there are serious mistakes being made by builder in this subdivision that is serious. Pultegroup needs to make some big changes in construction quality as it is poor

We have dealt with incompetence from the sales team, the mortgage agents, and the poor quality of the house construction. Have spent over a month dealing with warranty issues. No home should ever be delivered the way this was terrible customer service and no attention to detail. I still have many issues and left with a whirlpool refrigerator that I asked to be replaced due to noise level and was told to pound sand. I will be submitting this to small claims.
