Even many of the upgrades still are cheap materials. The workmanship is a zero out of 5 stars. The drywall and texture in every corner looks like a 6 year old did the work. The paint is so watered down that you need to repaint the inside of your house right away. The cabinets are cheap and half of them don't close properly. The brand new bathroom countertops came scratched and lare so cheap that I am afraid to put anything on the counter. Del Webb/Pulte sales staff has slick marketing and friendly folks to sell their product. As we waited over the next 6 months, we heard nothing other than from the money people wanting to make sure we paid. Our "celebration walk" (looks great in the video, smiling customers, clean home, etc.) was a DISASTER. The home was SO dirty - floors, cabinets, walls, ceilings and they were ALL damaged or so poorly finished we couldn't believe they would turn over a house in such a condition. We would be very hesitant to recommend Pulte Builders as a quality builder. There were so many disastrous situations we experienced during our build. Unfortunately, some of our problems have yet to be resolved. It's a real shame when you spend nearly a half million dollars on a home that you THINK is going to be a quality build, and it turns out that shortcuts and poor quality workmanship are the standard. So very disappointed in what we thought was going to be our "dream home."

Broken and chipped tile materials used by Pulte, split wood boards, electrical problems, sewer line crushed, doors dinted and dinged, pavers damaged, overall rushed and low quality construction, very dissatisfied homeowner. Builder not responsive to fixing problems, keep getting the run around. I regret buying a home built by Pulte.

By far, the worst new house purchase I've ever made - this is my fourth. Pulte can speak of quality, but there is no evidence of quality in my house. And the design oversights are astounding. Even junior architects shouldn't make such fundamental errors - doors that open on to each other, doors that cannot be opened unless another door is closed, air vents over dining table and living room seating area, windows that cannot be opened all the way because there is no grab handle on the bottom of the windows to close them, 'frameless' shower enclosure only missing the cheap aluminum frame on the ...

The house was not ready for us to move into on our closing date on August 3. The floor tile was defective and the builder knew this 30 days before closing, the carpet was badly stained from muddy shoes and needed to be replaced. The kitchen vent shroud was installed poorly and totally unacceptable. We were told that we could not move into the house for 30 days after closing due to these construction defects. It is now 70 days after our closing and we are still waiting for the kitchen shroud to be installed and the correct dryer to be delivered. We are still waiting on payment for ...

Don't Over Promise & Under Deliver!!

Our experience was not at all what we were promised. Finding out someone had put a cigarette out in our walk-in shower to finding a banana peel hanging in the spare room closest. The workmanship for the price we paid is very poor. We have had numerous issues with getting things complete. Commutation with our field manager is awful. We should not have to be the ones to contact people in order to have things fixed.

the quality of work is awful, I don't know where they get there tradesmen from, but the work is awful. They trip over each other destroying each others sad work skills. Was not impress with the celebration walk through wanted to cry. I am 30 odd days out and still have a punch list and the company is fighting with me weather they are responsible for the repairs. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY

The lack of quality and quality control is non-existent resulting in multiple attempts to resolve the same issue. It is exhausting to say the least. There is also no accountability. Pulte blames the contractors and the contractors blame Pulte. Run, do not walk, to a community that does not use Pulte. This has and continues to be an exercise in futility. Forget about any relaxation while you own a Pulte home.

Our poor quality of workmanship was created by having 5 different field managers exchange responsibility throughout the build of our home. POOR management system. The poor workmanship of this house builder

The quality is very poor, the work is like your getting a starter house, as cheap as you can build. This builder does not take pride in building home, issues after issues. I had mold on wood and this builder would not replace the wood, just cover the wood up. Just lots of cheap materials in house.

Production build - no more

I was told from day one that this was a production build and that Pulte would not make accommodations for individual buyers. That was absolutely the case, without exception. I have never worked with such an unyielding builder. The quality of the workmanship is subpar and the field manager was unwilling to fix the problems. I have had the opportunity to speak with many neighbors now and they have all had the same experience.

New home needs a lot of work

Major issues found upon move in. Builder is months behind and can’t fix. These are not warranty issues the issues are sloppy workmanship and DelWebb not supervising their contractors to assure of a quality home build. This is our fourth home build. We are very disappointed in the final product.

On June 1, 2020 I received an email from your customer care manager stating July 2nd. between 8 and 4 my punch list items would be addressed. I waited ALL DAY for two people to come. One sprayed the track in the 2nd. bedroom window to make it easier to use and one aligned my laundry room doors. ALL DAY to have insignificant items addressed while the important items were not. I'm STILL WAITING. My closing was March 30, 2020. It is rude, unkind and very unsettling to feel totally ignored. Stop blaming COVID for your unprofessionalism.
