I have always lived by the quote, "If you don't have time to do it right the first time, when will you find the time to do it over?" I believe Pulte should take ownership in their shoddy construction ethic and correct the construction issues for those of us who have closed and trusted Pulte on correcting unresolved construction issues rather than be extra greedy and do the soon to be closed homes first due to the new City of Westfield ordinance. House is good, Pulte's communication and customer service is super bad

Pushed back my closing 3 times without any communication, which equated to an extra 6 months before I could move. This ended up costing me several thousand extra dollars because I had to pay for storage and 2 moves instead of one. Also purchased the Kitchenaid upgrade package, but they changed my cooktop to a Frigidaire without communicating anything to me. I found out about it after I signed my papers and gave them my money when I did the final walkthrough to get my keys. Lesson learned, if the Builder asks for $10,000 in earnest money you should be skeptical. My wife and I thought that earnest money amount was high because of the demand in the Del Webb community. What we found during the construction process was a lack of oversight by the construction manager and the on-site team of construction foreman. Subcontractors are not supervised. This was the most frustrating experience ever! Very poor communication during the build. Many flaws in quality. Independent inspection revealed many significant issues that have yet to be repaired by you. The build ran 3 months past the window of time. All the representative employees of Pulte/Del Webb do not have the integrity or morals that are required in order to be a reputable business.

1. The field managers have no experience nor the knowledge to carry out their responsibilities. 2. We have had many defects in our home caused by the sub-contractors who took advantage of the field managers lack of knowledge & experience. 3. The builder constantly lies to you. They have no intention of honoring any promises made to you. The build quality is absolute rubbish and service and communications are even more rubbish to even non-existent. Do not walk away from Pulte and Del Webb…run away. The entire experience has been terrible and some I suspect even criminal. Never again.

The project took months longer than expected. The materials and workmanship were also below expectations. And it has been difficult to get the builder to handle the deficiencies. This is our third home in this project. And our fourth Del Webb home. So we have previous builds for comparison. And this one was quite unacceptable from our perspective.

If you like moving into a home that got more paint on floor than walls and paint runs all over walls,big lumps of drywall compound on walls and ceiling’s . The edges not finished and cabinet doors that are hard to open and a cook top that you can drop dimes down to the next door underneath than pulte is your builder, had to wait two weeks to watch a TV because we had a electrical problem,and you people made us wait two weeks because we’re such valued customers and the rest of the repairs we have two wait 6 weeks,I’m not impressed one bit by you people

I am very disappointed in this experience. No one from Pulte has been honest nor lived up to their word other than Brendan the sales manager who at least tries. I have been lied to my face numerous occasions by Pulte representatives and that is unacceptable on all levels. Once you close on your home, it takes an act of God to remedy issues you were promised would be fixed or the “fix” is a bandaid and not remedied professionally, as corners are cut. No reply from customer care regarding problems with issues with house after move in

Had a independent home inspector inspect the home at my own expense. He that found significant issues that showed that builder had no internal controls or inspections done before releasing the home. After 30 days since turning the report in to the builder customer care, still have not even had a response.

The builder rushed through the readiness of the home to meet an unrealistic close date. Instead of delaying the close, they forced the signing by threatening 250.00 a day penalty for each day beyond the target close date. The lack of quality has required many many service tickets and Pulte takes their time in addressing them. They continue to cite labor shortages for the poor quality, yet they offer no compensation for the hardship put on the homeowner, we are forced to live with it. Still trying to get major issues resolved 2 months after closing which was our 4th closing date set. No yard, grading , landscaping No cook too and oven . Loaner refrigerator with no ice. Crooked walls and tiles in shower. Just getting paint today. No gutters. Need I say more

This entire experience has been a disaster. Appaling workmanship using non English speaking workers who have zero respect for your property. I located 12 beer cans hidden under insulation. Zero communication and once they get your money you no longer exist. We have numerous unresolved issues including a leak in our roof. We acted in good faith all the way along and we were treated terrible with the exception of Steve our site supervisor.

The initial purchase process went very smooth with the sales person, the design center, the qualifying for the VA e loan and insurance process. When we first bought out lot and started building We were very excited. . Del Webb had a great building reputation. Boy had things changed. The workmen ship was terrible. No pride at all in anything that was done. Would NOT recommend Pulte Homes to any of our family or friends and would have never taken possession of the home if we didn't stand to lose a lot of money that was already put down on the build.
