We love our house

The entire process went very well, except for your mortgage department. I have bought 5 houses over the years and several refinancing transactions and this was my worst experience ever.

This purchase was quite a nightmare. There was many delays, poor craftsmanship and materials not to our standard for the cost of them. As a disabled veteran on a budget it was hard to see the upgrades they charged excessively for although were needed for my safety. We were to far in to look elsewhere. If we could have we probably would have went a different direction. We love the area.

Very carefully evaluate what you get for advertised price, versus all the "options" you need to satisfy desired living. Plan on adding about $100,000.00 to get the final product. Options appear outrageous. Some are basic and should be provided in base price of house. LOOK WITH A SHARP EYE AT FINAL PRODUCT AND TRY TO OPERATE ALL EQUIPMENT .

Basically everything is as expected. There have been a few issues but they were addressed.

I’m not even sure we got the features we selected. Our master closet has only one shelf whereas I understood there would be an upper and lower if we chose the upgraded version. I don’t recall being asked what color grout for the showers. I chose the lightest tiles and the grout is dark brown. It’s very ugly. The floors were damaged and the ‘correction’ was to scrub a strong smelling solvent into them. The shine is now nonexistent. We asked for top-of-the - line cabinets and they are pretty cheaply made. The trash can doesn’t even have a soft close. Several bumps under the carpet. Rough edges in interior doors. Paint needed on the front door. Property line on one side is unclear. Unsightly black pipe sticking out of wall. Unattractive downspouts that don’t match the front trim on both sides of the entry. Stairs creaky already. Uneven heat distribution: Master bedroom and bathroom very warm. When the heat comes on upstairs the air escaping the vents is loud. Only one window will open upstairs ( no cross breezes ). ... More

So Happy with my choice to purchase my home from Pulte home builders. As a Real Estate Agent, I’ve seen a lot of of houses, I was actually looking for a client and decided to purchase as well I must say comfort, quality and functionality!!!!

No matter what you observe during the building process, Pulte will make sure that you are satisfied.

I filled this out previously and you have the response. I do not type and do not like the inconvenience of having to reconstruct a response. I cannot get questions answered by the subs Del Webb lists, with their phone #'s. Furthermore after questioning the quality of a two level upgrade on the granite(the granite had an obvious flaw) we were called by a supervisor. I was not made aware that his boss was also in on the call. This secretive action and the subs referring all inquiries back to Del Webb, and our construction supervisor, Jacob's supervisor, withheld information from me prior to our closing. We are disappointed in trash hidden under the sod that left on a pallet far too long the sod was not watered appropriately after being poorly laid the yard was poorly graded prior to landscaping and sod placement the refrigerator is not built-in as up charged the carpet pad is supposed to be an upgrade the electrical wiring (three way switches) is inadequate. I think this shortcoming is intentional. forcing the homeowners to upgrade to a smart house. the "on the hinge" door stops are worthless having only one of each rooms electrical outlets operated by a wall switch, inadequate exterior color combinations selection too overly limited gutters and down spouts are focal points detracting from the handsome home-front and back ... Pay attention to your walkthrough! After closing I found the following - scratched cabinet doors (replacing), cracked and chipped tiles (going through repairs now), floor tiles were left with caulk and grout residue on most of them (spent 2 weeks cleaning), several cracked tiles were found, outlets were loose, fridge needed warranty service already (due to poor installation), currently fighting with countertop maker (terrible island granite - many chips and couple saw marks- requesting replacement, other countertop is great, Expected better workmanship. Cleaning crew were worthless. Have to stay on top of them if you can. Tough if moving from another state. Will be a beautiful house once all issues have been resolved. ... More

I think certain products and options should come standard with the home and NOT an upgrade to everything in the home. Make sure to ask lots of questions of what is an upgrade and what comes standard...

I would recommend Del Webb Stone Creek to anyone. They did a fantastic job selling and building our home. We haven't had any issues at all, except our freezer in the refrigerator stopped working after about 6 weeks, but that is a whirlpool problem, not Del Webb. Our saleslady was wonderful. Very patient and kind and helpful. They don't push here at all. Very professional. Our field manager was also wonderful and sent us tons of info while the home was being constructed. He updated us constantly with pictures and emails. He also let us come inspect the home anytime we wanted to while it was under construction. He gave helpful advice and was very kind, courteous and professional. We are VERY happy with our home here in Stone Creek. Strong-arm tactics from Pulte mortgage and Pulte Insurance. Builder unwilling to address multiple issues discovered after living in home for short period of time. Floors not level in multiple places in the house. Grout work in shower in Master Bath was poor quality.

We're only in our new home 7 weeks. So far we've only had minor issues. All of them are being addressed as I write this review.. Pulte has a very good team. Sales, Construction and Warranty. I worked for a builder in the north for 35 years so I was prepared to be critical ! I am very satisfied with our purchase. I would definitely recommend Del Webb by Pulte.

Missing shelf rails for sliding shelves in a kitchen cabinet. Still waiting after one month for installation of 2 parts in a kitchen cabinet. All we are told is that this issue is on a list. Not a good experience.

Very happy to be moving to Stone Creek. All of our expectations were met.

Our field manager was pretty unresponsive to our questions and concerns during most of the house building process. Eventually, the site manager got involved to ensure our concerns and questions were properly addressed. Every time we identified an issue during the rough in phases, the emails, texts and verbal inputs and requests for status were essentially ignored. Pulte had to have the substandard work ripped out and redone. They wasted a lot of manpower and materials, as well as scheduling delays, correcting issues after the fact that should have been simple fixes DURING the constructions/rough-in stages. For one example, a roof truss was split and the 5' crack in the 2x4 wasn't addressed before the drywall was installed. After the ceiling was painted, the site manager investigated our concerns, took pictures of the damage and had the wood repaired to our satisfaction. As another example, the undercabinet electrical wiring was not properly installed and we repeatedly addressed the wiring issues before the tile backsplash was to be installed. Again, they installed the backsplash around the incorrect wiring location and had to rip out several tiles to allow the electrician to move the wiring to the correct location and then retile the backsplash. I could go on and on, but you get the idea of their in-work QC failures. After the upper management got involved, they ensured our field manager was highly engaged with us and immediately addressed our remaining concerns. The remaining interactions with our field manager was improved, but that didn’t make up for the first 3/4s of the construction process issues. Also, why do builders insist on using cheap FLAT PAINT for the interior walls!? They should at least offer a higher quality paint selection/upgrade option instead of their overpriced two-tone FLAT PAINT “upgrade”. Finally, our sales agent was FANTASTIC and she was highly engaged with us every week and helped elevate our previously mentioned concerns to the Pulte management team. ... More

Road noise from Dinah Shore Drive makes being in the backyard impossible. Road noise is even heard from within the house.

We were truly Satisfied With All Phases of the home-buying process

The devil is in the details, and it's the details that escape Pulte. Solidly constructed home with an excellent floor plan and very good mechanics. But what you look at when you see the interior of the home is poor trim work, very poor painting prep, and poor quality work on the painting, which is so limited in choices I'm repainting the entire home myself with better grade paint.

Just some minor issues to be taken care of after settlement. Nothing major. All and All this appears to be a well built house.
