My home was built on schedule and I was part of the process at each step of the way. After closing I had a couple of issues - nothing serious - and they were addressed immediately with no issue.

We have a great home.

House address out of sequence with the rest of the street therefore delivery people cannot find or think we don’t exist

Pick the home you like, see it in the morning, then mid day, then evening. Then you’ll know if it’s right for you.

We like our new home. Communication was good during the construction process since we were living out of town. Couple of minor issues but they were addressed quickly.

The hot water issue could have been handled much faster by replacing the regulator instead of waiting for parts. The exhaust fan in the kitchen wasn’t connected to outside. Took about a week to correct. Still waiting for a door lever for our den. Been here nearly two months now.

The best advice I can give is to make sure you know what you are getting. There are many things about the models that are not standard. Do not assume anything you see is going into the home you are contracting for. Go threw the model you like with your sales rep and let him tell you what is in the base price and decide every single upgrade you want. Like outside flood light, can lights in a particular room, under counter garbage cans, an extra outlet somewhere...everything just be spelled out before you sign on the dotted line. Upgrades can easily exceed $70,000.

Had issue with microwave, but overall Del Webb Home experience was very good.

Stay involved in the building process. Don't assume anything.

The process of building and buying the home was great. But the landscaping was/is a huge disappointment. Which really sucks because that is where the "Curb Appeal" comes from. So, Okay; just a minor mistake, let someone know and they will fix it. LOL The repair job was no better than the installation. At some point it's just not worth the stress. They don't care about the quality of work, and they are not going to change now. Really it's a shame, our building, buying, and move-in experience was tainted by one poor quality supplier.

We believe the supervisor for building our home truly gave it their best, however, after being in the home for over a month now, it’s apparent some of the trade contractors who actually did the work, were not consistently careful, attentive & thorough in executing their required work.

This is a 55+ community and Del Webb has been building this type of home for many years. The design and build process is very streamlined. As with any design, the end product is only as good as the people who are doing a job. The home is structurally sound and well-framed from what we could see. There are a few options, there could be more for this age group, such as a walk-in whirlpool tub and ground level entry, in the event of wheelchair needs. Many of the costly upgrades do not seem to get the attention they require, and the warranty fix is relied upon heavily. The warranty people are great to work with, but only the items the homeowner notices are addressed. There should be checkpoints by a supervisor at the finish of every part of the process and then the home could be a "white glove" delivery without any extra cost of sending tradesmen/women back to finish. ... I found the process easy and response to all of my needs. I am really enjoying my new and beautiful home.

I’m happy with the overall design and sturdy hurricane resistive construction. However, I understand “production construction” but I’m still a bit disappointed with the lack of pride to the “attention to detail” performed by various trades. More attention to the final finishes and installations would be a great improvement. I also understand and have no problem with the dirt and noise associated with the ongoing construction. However, I still am amazed with the disrespect displayed by some trades with their failure to keep the work sight clean. Neighbors are constantly cleaning up construction materials and food and drink containers that make their way to their lawns or lakes. I’m sure these issues seem minor in the overall construction process, but since these issues are caused by some personnel that clearly do not take pride in doing a good job, it is an annoying ongoing problem. ... Everyone we dealt with was very professional and super helpful. Throughout the process we were kept in the loop the entire time. Our home was completed ahead of schedule which definitely was a plus!

Our overall experience has been very good. From the purchase with Linda in the sales office to Nick as the project manager, they have answered all questions and followed through with items we requested. Absolutely no complaints. We are just now at our one month home inspection & touchups have been scheduled.

While all work very hard to take care of things it seems the leadership is spread thin so it makes it very hard to take care of everything on a timely manner.

Happy with most everything except can't seem to get shutters on outside of home after many requests, and refrigerator won't produce ice cubes in ice maker.

The only thing negative that really bothered me is the sales people once you closed on House they never thanked you. It’s like you never existed.

Process of picking and buying house was very good. Post closing has some issues regarding denial of some what we thought was warranty work. Issue with thermostat unresolved as vendor skipped appointment.

We are Canadian. Our purchase is a second home to enjoy our prospective retirement in California which we have visited now year to year for about 15 years. We have considered home purchase in the Palm Springs area for several years but did not find any location or home suitable until we attended the Del Webb development in Rancho Mirage. The show homes were impressive and the decision to make a purchase was instant. Many of the fine features in the home were of course upgrades which enlarged the base price of the home significantly but were deemed necessary to accommodate what appealed to us about the home we chose. Many of the upgrades were packages such that you either chose a particular upgrade in whole. ie the lighting fixtures with the wiring but not just the wiring, which was a little frustrating in managing some level of budget. However, in the result, speaking of the completed product, overall the product is excellent. There are small issues as might reasonably be expected on some installation currently kitchen cabinets and sadly the kitchen sink, which in particular, looked bright and shiny, but for whatever reason is apparently not of sterling quality. Hopefully that will be in the fullness of time during the warrantly be remedied correctly. Otherwise, the foreman and his immediate supervisor, and their crew that carried out the construction of the home, were a complete pleasure to work with, and were extraordinarily attentive to our schedule for visiting the construction site. Absolutely sterling in their performance. Their manner and conduct gave good represenation of Del Webb. And makes us confident that any deficiencies which seem overall few, will be fully and completely remedied. On final comment, our Sales person was also very helpful in the process and was attentive to our questions and as the process of purchase moved along was very good at resolving any ongoing issues associated with completing the purchase. ... We moved from a finished basement ranch home to one floor Reflection spec home in Britton Falls. Love what the designer picked and Clint was the BEST to oversee our construction process! Britton Falls is a wonderful neighborhood with so much to do!

We love our new home here in Sun City Festival. Peaceful and tranquil away from the city.
