The building process is very stressful. I would encourage anyone that is interested in living in Southern Springs to bypass the building process and purchase a home that has already been built.

Pay attention to options available.

Do not accept last minute walk thru. Check solar system carefully ours was incorrectly installed.

Workmanship is a bit sloppy

Final punch list was difficult to complete in a timely manner. All complete now after 40 days, very happy with result- just a frustrating timeline.

From the no pressure to purchase sales staff, to the decision of building a new home and then working with the design center and field supervisor, it was a great experience with little stress that the house would be built with high quality and attention to detail.

Our build went well, and was finished the exact day that was planned several months prior. Very nice inside and out. For the price, plywood/osb should have covered the entire house; not just certain sections. The are a few other very minor construction decisions that I wished could have been reviewed prior to certain phases being completed, but overall, I'm extremely pleased with the finished product. Cost wise, you pay for convenience of having items installed during the build. For example, the ceiling fans will be somewhat more expensive than buying them and installing them yourself. The construction process and end product is sloppy. Messy chaulking, splattered paint, chipped/stained concrete, crooked knobs/tile, nicked counters/doors/trim, sod not rolled and left with large gaps, electric outlets not at same level/crooked, light switches poorly placed. Solid construction but all the nice detailed work is missing. Great community though.

I couldn't be happier! I have wanted to live in a Del Webb Community for several years and am so glad we found the Lake Oconee community to be perfect for us. The house is beautiful, the team here is professional and goes above and beyond to solve problems, answer questions and provide help.

It was disappointing that the workmanship did not meet my expectations vs the price that was paid for my home which contained many upgrades.

From beginning to end, everyone was great to work with.

Builder is responsive to our calls and concerns. Community is well manicured and all grounds maintained. Lots of amenities.

Buying a new home was our dream to choose our interiors. We achieved this with our salesperson, Pulte Interior Designers and an OUTSTANDING FIELD MANAGER. The process is very interactive and I felt that it was a true team effort.

No internet to start. AT&T boxes buried and hard to find.

Biggest complaint is windowless bathrooms.

I paid for top quality cabinets I was aware they were not the best but were a level 4 these cabinets ESPECIALLY THE DRAWS are worse than what you would get at a low end cabinet from home depot i was never shown the huge difference in the draws Mine can not even support the weight of silverware

I downsized to the smallest model and I love it..more than enough room. So pleasant to live with active seniors and to have so many activities to choose from. Change can be hard but so glad I did this.

The process of building a new home in Del Webb was relatively smooth. Since we lived close by it was easy to visit construction and let folks know if something was not correct. Weather delayed our build a bit and our field rep was changed in mid stream which was of concern. Overall the house was built well with a few issues remaining to clear up, nothing major. My 4 star rather then 5 is not a negative comment it is just a reflection that things go wrong and if you are not around to point these out it could be more difficult to get the end game you want in the house. The volume of homes constructed makes quality and attention to detail suffer. Seems particularly problematic with the subs.

The build quality was great. The paint and finish was average at best. The concrete work was below average.

Quality control at closing was very poor. Test ball in sewer line was stuck, blocked sewer. No water to dishwasher. Dishwasher was installed crooked. Paint finish throughout house is pathetic. A third grader could do a better job. Rain gutter was installed only after argument even though sales person assured me at time I put a deposit down it was included. Paid a premium for my lot to have a view. Was never informed the property behind my house is privately owned and can be built on. Very disappointed in quality of workmanship.

We had a great experience building our Del Web home from start to finish. Everyone involved was friendly, helpful, knowledgable, and efficient with their part of the project. We were pleasantly surprised with how quickly they finished up and got us moved in. The follow up has been excellent.
