Expect no followup from Pulte Builders in this Del Webb community. This Del Webb community in Ponte Vedra is lovely and full of amenities, but our entire building process with Pulte has been disappointing and stressful

Excellently built home. Have been completely satisfied during the build process and 1st month of living in the home. Several minor problems after move-in were addressed quickly and professionally.

Wonderful people to guide you through every step of the construction, financing and mortgage process.

Sure Manager said issues would be addressed. They weren't. Quality of workmanship is poor. Warranty service is horrible.

Everyone is very helpful. If I did it again the only thing I would do different is pick out all my own kitchen appliances not just the refrigerator.

House is solidly built. However, finish limitations are very onerous. Warranty responsiveness is acceptable.

My salesperson and building supervisor were great. They worked hand and glove to deliver the product on time and without issues. I realize that we probably paid more per square foot but did so for the amenities. They could have done better with landscaping as there are no warranties on the shrubs. However, I am in the house a month and am very satisfied

We had a home inspection done two days after we moved in by an independent agent. We would highly recommend any new buyer to do so. The finish elements done by the trades were definitely not ‘high end’ but probably typical with tract home builders. The charges for upgrades were high enough to incentivize us to do some upgrades on our own after moving in. Glad we did. Even though we had built four homes previously and had a good idea of what we would want in a home, the Design Center was challenging on many levels. The first issue I noticed was that electrical for tv was low. Didn’t know it was an add-on to use less electrical wire to move up the wall. Then I found out there weren’t any towel racks. Seems odd as I bought a new house 3 years ago and was asked where I wanted my electrical for tv’s, phone, etc. I also had towel racks when I moved in 3 years ago. Costs for extras are way overpriced. Keypad for garage door opener, a cost of $40 costs 175 from Pulte. It was a 5 minute installation. Brackets for ceiling fans is $200 each. Three years ago I paid $50 each.

We were fortunate to be able to visit several Del Web communities before deciding to buy in Ocala. We made sure to compare building code and how homes were built. In one part of Florida the home are wood construction instead of concrete blocks, having lived in Florida we realized the importance of having a concrete block construction and to make sure it is safe for hurricanes, it only takes one hurricane to do a lot of damage and having lived through several hurricanes we knew what type of construction was needed. Also, very important to have a good sale person , if you do not like the one assigned to you ,you will not buy!!!! Also, good construction manager is a must , one that will keep you updated weekly and send pictures and allow you to visit during construction. Able to answer any questions you may have, and explain things clearly. We also looked at what type activities were offered and what facilities the area had. We found it useful to stay in the community for a few days and experience what it would be like to live there. All in all we were lucky and had a very favorable experience at buying and building our home. Working with the sales staff & design team was an excellent experience. Regarding the finished home, many details lack quality workmanship. The warranty team, however, has been very helpful in resolving many issues.

We've had a major issue with our kitchen cabinets which has still not been resolved. We were assured that we would be made whole with the problem... Just go ahead and sign the closing. We will do whatever it takes to make sure you get what you want. It's been over two months... Still unresolved and avoided

You can trust Del Webb.

Overall workmanship is sloppy at best. After buying a Del Webb home in Anthem, AZ I expected the same quality, but apparently the Austin market is too much for Webb.

Love my Del Webb Chateau Elan home and my neighbors! Happy to have moved into a community with an easy and active lifestyle and have the ability to make new friends who share similar interests and are in my same age group. Reminds me of when I moved in to my old neighborhood 20+ years ago when I chose a kid friendly, family community with kid friendly programs and amenities - now it’s about a lifestyle with programs and amenities for me. This is the second Del Webb home we have owned. The first was in California. Overall, the quality of the homes is at a very high level. However, with our new home, a few things seem sub-standard for Del Webb quality. One is the landscaping in the front . Some homes were "lucky" enough to get 3 palm trees (we were given no choices). Some of us got none. Instead we got little scrubby trees and shrubs with no color in the design. UGLY!! Very inconsistent quality. Many neighbors plan to install all new trees and plants. The second issue is the quality of the wall paint inside the home. We have owned many homes and never encountered such low quality paint. It is not at all washable or even wipeable. If you touch it with water, it dissolves immediately. It's like chalk. We are very unhappy with it. Why would anyone put such shabby paint in these nice homes? These homes are at the top of the market for square footage price! Finally, the warranty process is really slow to respond and even slower to resolve problems with the new construction. You have to send repeated requests to even get a response. Then someone just comes out to talk to you. That has happened twice now. Our neighbor next door, who has been here several months longer than we have, says, "There is no warranty!" Our last Del Webb home was pre-owned. The homes are built with top notch materials but since the finished product depends on humans to bring it all together the buyer still needs to pay close attention to details. We are still cleaning up grout overage on floors, sloppy concrete drips on garage floor, poor paint coverage, just lack of care of the details. Stuff that a buyer tends to gloss over in the "celebration" walk thru. Buyer must be sure to review with a close eye to detail because the field managers are very good at correcting all errors before closing.

Choose your options wisely. Keep contact during construction.

Wonderful people to work with from sales to field manager to the guy who tiles your bathroom. Beautiful, quality home. Affordable and gorgeous. Never dreamed we would be living in this beautiful Arizona community.

My AC has not worked properly since I moved in at the end on June. It's now August 15th and it's still now working. I was told that the thermostat not controlling temp was normal, I should be OK with it the 80's in my house. Black marks on my while tile floor...again I was told "that's how it's supposed to be. Back Splash tile are not all the same color. Again, I was told that was how it was supposed to be. Door handles on my sliding glass doors were different colors...I was told, that was how it's supposed to be. Those handles were taking off..they were different colors...new handles put in their place. Bathroom lights flicker...bulbs changed out....the lights still flicker...job complete. Paint on my counter tops and tile floor...."we only construction clean with water, you should hire someone to clean that for you." Outlets are loose in my house, still waiting ....a month and a half so far, electrical safety...just because you can see inside the box doesn't make it a problem. Someone even said that I was trying to get out of the tile installed in our house...so wrong, it was the reason we liked and bought the house. We just want the scuff marks removed. ... More

There was NO quality control throughout the building process. We moved into a dirty house with many issues.
