It all began with the model homes. They were available for us to view on our own without sales pressure. The floor plans are awesome. We narrowed it down to three before our final decision. Then the process began at the sales office. It was like having a personal assistant. The saleswoman was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. After choosing the lot, the next six months were impressive. There were attentive people in every aspect of sales, design, mortgage processing and construction. They were available and in constant contact. Pulte mortgage made it easy to upload documents. They guided us through each step of the way. They communicated by phone, email and website. The construction phase was amazing. Every stage was well planned. The house was completed on schedule. Our field rep has been taking care of minor follow up issues in a timely manner. Steve made our building experience an enjoyable one and stress free. Building a home long distance is hard. He did not missed a beat!

.Home options are good and home looks great. However some options not available were disappointing. No option for central vac or foam insulation come to mind. Items needing attention after closing have been addressed promptly.

The people are very nice, you can have as little or as much to do as you wish. The weather is hot in the summers but overall a very nice place to live.

We never felt pressured or rushed. We visited many times before making a decision to buy and were greeted and treated well each time.

We are very happy with our new Del Webb home. We love the floorplan, the lot and the neighborhood. Our home is very open and light. The lighting, appliances, countertops, flooring and fixtures are all so nice. We like the finishes and colors that we chose. The selection process for the finishes at the design center was a bit stressful, considering you have a limited amount of time (2 three hour sessions). We recommend you give a lot of thought to the finish colors that you want, considering your current furniture and wall art that you want to keep. If you change wall colors, your current furnishings may not go with the new finish colors. The builder did a very good job in making sure we were happy with everything before closing. Selling, building and moving was somewhat stressful, but once we were in our new home, it was all worth it. ... More

Very happy in our new home.

During my first week in the house I have noticed windows with condensation issues, the crown molding on the kitchen cabinets has a visible gap.

I designed a new house here for my boyfriend and was so impressed that I sold my house in CA and bought one out here. I love Del Webb!

dry wall to thin. suggest to double thickness of drywall and rather charge a little more for what would be a big improvement.

Do understand that these are not custom homes but are standard spec houses. In generally they are very nice homes but just a few key areas in construction were disappointing. The OSB sheathing in an area or or two went down to within an inch of the ground and I fear I will have hidden damage from water relatively soon. The fascia boards around the doors, windows & gutters appeared to be a particle board material which I feel will degrade within 10 years. The house does not come with a front and back water spicket, only midway along the sides (wished I had realized this. The basic structure (walls & trusses) looks good and the flooring, cabinet, counter, bath & electrical fixture selection are good. Overall we are happy with our house just disappointed on a few things could have been done better at not much additional cost. ... More

When we decided that best option for us was to buy new home in a new community we were hesitant at first...the last new home purchase we did was out of state with a local builder back in 1990 and the whole process was dismal...At Del Webb here in Port St.Lucie it restored our hope and faith in new home purchase. This is the 3rd time we purchased a new home in our lifetime and the excellent customer service, build, build product, closing, and responsive customer service deserves a grade of "A" from what we experienced one month in living in our new home. The neighbors we met are friendly and we are waiting on the clubhouse to be built so we can take full advantage in what this community will have to offer. The choice of materials and configuration is very limited. And even though our contract specified FULL OVERLAY cabinets, we did not get them. And I'm still unhappy about that. I think you should live up to the terms of the contract.

Little flexibility on choices such as towel racks, no options on moldings and little to no effort to satisfy customer needs.

Quality, workmanship and materials are poor. Issues are many and are not quickly resolved. When issues are worked quality of workmanship is also poor.

We think the sales office needs to pay more attention to buyer(s) getting acquainted with amenities (we never personally received any introduction to anything; heard later that some buyer(s) received tours of facilities onsite). Also, we have an ongoing issue with sales with trying to assess if we received correct cabinets in bathrooms; got runaround and never was able to follow thru with our precise question. Our builder/field manager has been great with follow up on house issues being addressed after move-in. Mortgage process went smoothly; however, information on (I think it was called) (recast) was incorrect; employees need to be a little more aware on this. We were told we could put additional monies toward our total mortgage within a reasonable time after closing to reduce our total mortgage; when we checked further, it was not available to us because we have a VA loan. Pathetic response to issues identified after the date of closing. No response to emails, little to no corrective action to date.

Good customer service but poor quality interior and exterior wood trim. Interior doors cheap and very poor finishing of sheet rock - particularly seams on ceilings. I’ve been In home for one month and many, many sheet rock nail pops. Paid for upgraded kitchen and appliances, but cabinets of poor quality and garbage disposer is under powered. Sod is full of weeds as well. While I like the lifestyle in neighborhood, Pulte should use a better grade of wood for trim and do a much better job of ensuring their trade people properly finish the interior

we are pleased with our new home. it was completed on time and a lot of attention went into the engineering and energy efficiency.

Hi. This is our third Pulte home and the quality of this home is less than our previous Pulte homes. Cheaper stainless sinks, substandard pitted granite, thermostat of lesser quality and features. No light over the kitchen sink. This is a 55+ community and the shower head is hard to reach for me and I am 6 feet. I have to get the shower head down for my wife who is 5'5". The lights are not centered over the island. They only needed to be moved 7" to make them correct. Not being able to increase the size of your patio screen enclosure which means I need to tear the whole thing down and rebuild completely new. We purchased 8' interior doors but we have a 6'8" interior door that you can see from the front door as you come in because the architects have no imagination and don't care how stupid it looks. Additionally, their solution doesn't even work because the A/C handling unit whines when the door is closed because there is not enough airflow going to the unit. The inability to even make the smallest changes that fix poor design ideas by the architects is not new with Pulte, but frustrating still. We liked the basic floorplan but we were hoping for better quality. Our sales person and field manager were excellent but they have no control over quality if it is OK with Pulte standards. We bought in a Del Webb community in Vegas years ago and knew we would like Sun City Mesquite. We have not been disappointed. The community is beautiful and our neighbors have been wonderful.

The quality of the stucco finish on my house is really poor. Everything else is acceptable.

Have faith in all the people involved with the process from the sales department to the design center and of course the builder , and yes they follow up and thru .
