As with other mass produced development corners are cut to meet deadlines. Del web was not forthright with some of their information. Too much emphasis on meeting closing dates. My sales rep was top notch!

Process very simple and well set out.

Del Webb sales rep was very knowledgeable and helpful. He plugged us into the exact house we were looking for. The construction manager was attentive throughout the construction process and great follow up. We have owned Pulte built homes in the past and they have greatly improved on their construction methods and materials. We would buy from them again.

we were supposd to close on 4/19/2019 but because pulte forgot to get a certificate of occupancy they called on 4/18/2019 at 2pm and said we would would close on 4/24/2019 that gave us a day and a half to move from the house we sold to move here.the floor in the second bedroom has moisture under the wood floor so they had to tear out my new floor and today on 5/29/2019 we are waiting to get our wood floor put back down.

The initial drive into Stone Creek as well as the models and the staff all A+. The finished product comes in at a C for the following reasons. Attention to detail is lacking both inside and out. For example, on the interior we needed to sand and re-paint some window sills and caulk base board joints and crown molding shortly after moving in. Had issues with shutters because the windows are not even. On the exterior. By far the outside is our biggest disappointment for the following reasons. Ground is so uneven our new $600.00 lawn mower is taking a beating after just 2 uses. A very nice representative from Del Webb told us that they would have the lawn rolled in an effort to help with the unevenness. Because there are no trees, shrubs or foliage to somewhat block the the 8 homes in our direct view from our gathering room, dining room and lanai it is truly our biggest disappointment. Overall happy with buying experience.

There is little to inadequate supervision of the contractors during the build and if you are not here watching them or don't know construction you are at a huge disadvantage. Contractors are not held to any reasonable standard because they are inadequately supervised and poor or substandard workmanship is the standard they are held to. And for this we are charged excessive prices. I call the construction practices here the "Clown Act". Just hurry up and get it done. We'll fix it later IF someone catches the mistakes.... Overall, we're happy with our new Del Webb home. There are a few fit and finish issues that are currently being resolved. Nothing major and the kind of thing one should expect.

Pulte offers a very pretty picture with the models. The sales person we had was pretty bad. While she answered questions, her standard reply was “check the website and you will find out what you need to know.” She also misinformed us about what was HOA property and what was our yard.Colleeen at the Design center was very nice and good to work with, The options are extremely expensive and cost prohibitive. The quality of the construction seems to be very good. Chad our construction manager was great to work with! The cabinets installed are disappointing. They are poor quality even though we paid $7,000.00 for an upgrade. The garage door is extremely noisy and isn’t sealed to keep the sand out. I was told that just the way it is, even though our neighbors door doesn’t make loud noises. Deidre ,in the warranty dept. makes me think Pulte really cares about doing the right thing. Our home was carefully built. Ron (Superintendent) even sealed all edges of the building to the foundation. No critters will be able to get in. He showed us all the details in how the home was built, we were very pleased! Our development is very quiet and we have great views. My only complaint is that there are no side fences included in the already expensive property. So be prepared to come up with several thousand more to fully enclosed your lot.

Disappointed in the fit and finish

Love our new home. They need to fix the pond in the rear of our home. Was told it leaks and it needs to be redone. Is definitely an eyesore.

Just let Pulte guide through every process

The sales people drummed into our heads that Pulte is not a custom builder. All homes are built to a standard. Silly me, I expected the models to reflect that standard. When we got into the home, we found several "standard" items that did not match the model. I have had to make modifications to the home to make it useable, With respect to the wiring in the home for TV, phone and internet, I expected the wiring contractor to understand how the cable companies would install their equipment. Overall our experience has been a positive one. Everyone has quick to answer any questions we have had and eager to remedy any problems that arose. We have been in our house for about 45 days and enjoyed every minute.

We were very excited to get our Del Webb home. Upon moving in, we noticed numerous flaws in drywall and painting. It will take us a long time to correct them all. Our driveway has already cracked. Our hardwood floor is cracking and is chipped along the edges. Paint splatter even on the hardwood floors. Our shower door can only open one way because the walls are not straight. Many chips and imperfections also exist in the kitchen cabinets. There really appears to be a lack if attention to detail on the finish work.

Lot backs up to 2 1/2 miles of conservation then inter-coastal waterway.

Attention to detail is impressive as is communication and responsiveness during construction. Upgrades and options are pricey but worth the expense if they meet your needs. Quality of bathroom fixtures disappointing.

We are very pleased with our home, the workmanship, features, and quality in what we selected. After we finish accessorizing the house, we will be taking advantage of all that Sun City has to offer.

The entire process was well handled by all the staff.

Can’t wait to start enjoying retirement

For us, it was all about the lot. Find the lot with desired exposure, location, elevation & size...THEN fall in love with the home that comes on THAT lot!

We were excited about our new home and the lifestyle that a Del Webb community has to offer. But the house has been extremely disappointing. I’ve never seen such shoddy workmanship in the many years I was a Realtor showing all kinds of homes. Just today, one of our neighbors pointed out that our two month old house is about to lose the trim above the garage door. It is barely hanging on! The wood used for trim inside the house looks like rejects from a more quality oriented house builder. It is full of nicks and notches that were just painted over. Walls are crooked and there is paint slopped over hardware and light fixtures, etc. Obviously, the painters did not remove hardware before painting. Caulking is really bad to nonexistent. The sink in our wet bar is crooked. I was told someone would be out to check that several weeks ago and never heard back. Our microwave oven has a couple of dents. I could just go on and on… We get the distinct impression that Pulte emphasizes quantity rather than quality. They seem to want to throw homes together as quickly as possible to inflate their bottom line. Forget about the consumer! It is appalling!!! We and our neighbors paid rather large lot premiums for a view of a pond behind our homes. Soon after we moved in, we noticed the pond was being drained. No one bothered to let us know, and we later found out it was for making “improvements.” It has now been drained for several weeks with no evidence that anything is actually being done! We asked the HOA president last week about this issue, and he didn’t seem to know too much about it but was going to have a meeting with a Pulte person yesterday and then was going to get back to me today. I never heard back and tried calling him this afternoon but was told he’d left for the day but that he’d be back on Tues. And no one else knows what’s going on. So we are still left in the dark and are incredibly frustrated by our view of what used to be a pond and not having any idea of what is being done or when. ... More
