I have been thru nine different new house built with various builders in VA but Pulte is the best IMO. The staff, from sales (Carolina) to construction (Christian and Anthony) has so much experience and patience to help me thru many steps. The quality of Pulte home construction is excellent and I very much enjoy the new house.

I recently had a home walk-through with Alec, and I couldn't be more impressed. Alec was incredibly thorough, taking the time to explain every detail and answer all of my questions. He made sure that all of my concerns were addressed, and I felt confident in the condition of the home after the walk-through. Alec's professionalism and expertise made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Alec for anyone needing a detailed and reassuring home walk-through.

All the people we have worked with have been helpful and responsive. We love the home, the layout, and the location. Coming from out of state and having had several custom homes built over the last 30 years, some of the building processes are strange and seem cheap. Especially in comparison to the rest of the home and the price….ie, the baseboards are 1/2 the size they should be because they are put in before the flooring. We’ve never seen this and it looks very cheap…especially next to the upgraded flooring and the lovely, 8’ interior doors. Also the bathrooms are very basic, which is disappointing and all the granite seems outdated…it’s similar to granite we had in a home built in 2012. We’ve replaced the baseboards and over time we’ll upgrade the bathrooms and granite. Understanding this is a spec home, it’s still strange the areas that were upgraded and the ones that were not. Our sales person Paul was great! Kept us informed and walked us through every step. Our project manager Ron was wonderful also-answered any questions promptly and got right back to us anytime we contacted him. Brogan did our final walk thru and did a great job explaining everything. Lastly customer service from Daryl has been excellent. He is taking care of everything for us promptly. Great attitudes from all! Great from beginning to end.

Always available to assist and answer questions, even on their day off.

We have lived in our house for a little over a month and we still have many issues. The workmanship is sloppy and has no quality. The construction managers lie right to your face. They tell you they will fix an issue and do nothing but lie. I would never buy a Pulte home again.

The building process was not what I expected. The timeline for moving in was different than what I was told and reassured it would be. The house was very dirty! Subs did not clean up and were very sloppy. Had to replace all the carpet from stains. Sub contractors lied about repairs being made on the shingles, when in fact, the repairs had not been done. I had a 3rd party inspector come 3 separate times and paid $1200.00 for this service because the same existing issues had not been fixed on multiple things! The paint sheen being flat is not acceptable in such a humid climate. The ceiling paint doesn't match the walls. The texture was sprayed diagonally across the walls in many places. It had to be sanded and fixed. The painters were sloppy and did a terrible job. The main contractor Jake was nice and helpful but the build itself and some of the subs were a nightmare. I wouldn't recommend someone building here. The bottom of the garage was dented before I moved in but because it's not in a noticeable place I didn't see it until after moving in. No one will fix it now. Very disappointed in the building process itself. I paid $25,000.00 more than what the house appraised for. When all is said and done I like the area and amenities but the sub contractors are mostly sloppy. The things that show like the texture, paint, etc. are not good. The dirt and damage on a new build was unacceptable. Also Pulte Mortgage was a nightmare! Went with a different mortgage company after a complete runaround! The new company was so easy! ... More

Not impressed with Pulte at all

Our building manager Gerardo, did a great job. As a carpenter for at least 32 years, he made me feel confident that he would do what ever it takes to finish our home with pride and quality workmanship.

The sales, construction, and design teams were delightful to work with and provided added value. The Escrow team, not so much, poor communication and their communication portal could not be opened.

From start to finish the process was exceptional! At the beginning I was just making inquiries in which Aimee (Sales Agent) was responsive within 24 hours or less with answers and this continued once I did make an offer through and beyond closing. I did my home inspection with Greg and he was awesome and continues to be responsive and helpful after I moved in. The entire team is fantastic and I am extremely happy with my purchase which I made without physically seeing the lot or walking the models - this sale was completely remote from another state and the DW team made me feel comfortable with the process. ... Our construction manager Damian was easy to work with and did a fantastic job on managing this build, he kept us informed during the entire process.

Frank and his crew were great. They kept us updated on the building process weekly and we closed earlier than expected. However, we did experience a broken sewer pipe upon move in date. We could not use the water. I called the warranty office and Chase and the plumbers did come through. They had to drill a hole in our Flex room to replace the pipe. We had to spend a couple of nights in a hotel - which we did get reimbursed. They also used the spare LVP to repair the flooring quickly as well and returned the LVP that they used. Driveway is already cracking after 2 months of ownership. Sidewalks through the development are cracking.

The experience has been good but the responsiveness to needs and requests for support have been slow

My only complaint is the quality of the cabinets. Having trouble with pull outs and doors closing properly. It feels they were lower quality and instillation was not done properly

I would highly recommend Pulte to family and friends, experience was exceptional

Very disappointed in the quality of home for the price you pay. Cheap workmanship which resulted in many mistakes and flaws.

Everything was going great until we needed warranty service. We had a cracked master BR door. It was a comedy of errors. Many days we waited for a service call. It they showed up it was with a damaged door, doors that didn’t fit & several visits to finally get the door fit, painted & installed. Very disappointing considering we love everything else about Stone Creek.

While friendly and personable the salesperson (April) cost me a lot of money because she did not explain cabinet configurations when I was choosing double vs single oven, and range hood. So I ended up with a very plain cabinet configuration I never would have chosen had I known. It was only AFTER I complained my cabinets didn't look like the model home, that she sent me sketches of the 4 different configurations and told me the fact I didn't choose double ovens meant I got something completely different. This was NOT ok!!! Likewise I chose to purchase the refrigerator offered since she told me it was a counter depth, but was NOT! It stuck way out into my kitchen and looked terrible so I bought a new frig. Now I"m stuck with a second frig I need to try to sell. While my construction manager was a super nice guy he was not good/consistent with communication. He frequently did not answer emails or calls and it became very frustrating. If I happened to run into him in person, he was quite nice and informative but that was hit and miss. Pulte Mortgage was TERRIBLE. I had the worst mortgage experience of my life! Then, I had items not complete before closing so the warranty manager followed up. And Troy was wonderful! He was responsive, friendly and on task! 2 weeks after move-in I had a major plumbing back up that took 4 visits from the plumber to resolve. Turned out it was construction debris. Troy the warranty was hands on at my house to work with the plumbers to get the issue resolved. He was great! As I am getting more familiar with my house I notice a lot of places where the quality could have been much better (trim joints not well done, drywall details, finish details, etc) which is a bit disappointing. Additionally there are several bad home design issues, such as the refrigerator doors will not fully open as they hit the walls on either side, especially the angled wall on one side. To sum it up, the home architectural plans, the communication in general and the build quality has lots of room for improvement! ... More

The final day pre closing inspection time allotment is ridiculous. Having to inspect/accept all the fit and finish in that short amount of time is impossible. Then theres pressure to accept findings. After that you're on your own.

I was very pleased with my new home being built. The building supervisor kept me up to date of what’ was going on week by week, pictures included. I had a home inspection on house. I forwarded the information to my builder. At the walk through everything was taken care of what needed to be fixed. If I saw something later that needed to be fixed my builder would have the tradesman there the next day. I had 2 houses built. Ryan went above and beyond of what needed to be corrected. A Good Man!
