Many things done sloppily or needed to be fixed. A waste of my time with scheduling subs to come back, ordering replacement, emails and phone calls. Luckily, the home care team is responsive but it’s been stressful. Not the old DiVosta quality of the past two homes I had.

Pulte homes is a production builder that is rigid in the limited homeowner selections. The very best kitchen cabinets they offer at a substantial cost to the homeowner are low level contractor grade product. This strategy goes thru out the selection process to all homeowner choices. If your history is with custom or semi custom builders prepare to be disappointed.

Quality workmanship, nice yet simple home, use all the space wisely.

Base price of home was manageable for what we were looking for but was a very basic no frills house. We were moving from a high end custom home in a gated golf community so we were having a hard time making the transition from custom to production builder. The biggest issues for me was cost above basic home cost for upgrades ie kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, gas fireplace, paint, tray ceilings with 6" crown and 7" base boards, insulation of and finishing of the garage (we elected to get the garage extended by 4 feet). When it was all done and said we ended up at $60,000 over the base price. In all honesty the design center lady gave us a ball park figure that most people end up at $60K to $75K. ... More

Very pleased with our new home

Our home building experience was great from start to finish. The team we worked with throughout the process were professional and so responsive.

Our home is well built and the builder stayed on and ahead of schedules to finish our home. We are pleased with it. Only “quam” I have with the buying experience is the “nickel and diming” when picking out options. For example, Shouldn’t need to pay extra for having a light in a room, especially for the price we pay for these homes.

Overall we are very happy with our new home. The buying process was fine except for the mortgage application. We wasted months trying to get a Pulte mortgage - finally used another lender. The quality of the home is great except for the flooring. We chose the most expensive upgrade for flooring and the floors are terrible. Wish there had been an option for actual hardwood floors vs engineered hardwood. And our dishwasher was not working upon move in and after waiting a month for a repair my husband finally uninstalled and reinstalled it properly. All the people we worked with were very nice. Also feel that Del Webb “oversold” some of the amenities - like the new pool will not have a swim up bar as promised. And Del Webb needs to have some sort of ombudsman with the post office/UPS/Fedex - after a month we still can not get packages at our new address. ... More

Great experience in buying new construction

Our second phase project manager was awesome! He was patient attentive and very responsive. We can’t say enough good things about the second phase of the build of our house. We cannot wait to make it our home in 2025.

I'm happy with my home. Very few issues needed addressed.

Our home was a Contour model. We were scheduled to move in on late September but due to someone in the Pulte Land group we were delayed six weeks and had to stay in three separate Airbnb's at our expense. No one in Pulte would take any responsibility and offer us an compensation. When we finally moved in we noticed that there were large numbers of paint drips throughout the home that had to be scraped off the floor. Plus the base boards needed paint touch ups in every room. The closets were still full of large spiders and we had to spray everywhere and sweep out the webs. There were some scratches on the shower door and mirror that we missed during final inspections. Plus we had missed a small scratch in an appliance door as well. So overall we were still happy to have finally moved in and were out of lengthy temporary housing finally but we were not impressed that the painters had made such a mess and really did not do the level of quality that they could do if they had taken their time. ... Workmanship inside the house is fair. Looks like the things were done in a rush, not paying any attention to details. Very disappointed with the paint job done inside the house. Having painting redone at this time, doors , baseboards , walls . Found paint smears and drops all over our expensive floor tiles. Careless

We had an unbelievable experience with our recent Del Webb home construction. James, our construction manager was outstanding! He clearly and very deliberately walked us through each phase of the construction process and was very intentional and responsive to any questions or concerns we had with our new home. He’s the best!

Our Supervisor was unreliable, unresponsive, and acted like he had better things to do than to work with us. We never heard from him for a 30 day review.

The building experience was great, they constructed on time and kept us well informed at every stage. We've had 4 houses built in the past and this was by far the best build quality. However, post closing, the Pulte selected HOA management "Castle Group" has been a disappointment. They don't always respond to emails or voicemails and are generally disinterested in helping resolve issues. We're hoping that service quality improves as no escalation path has been provided for us. If we had a better HOA management team, our overall experience would be excellent.

My house is perfect! I have been in it for 2 months now and have had zero issues! I love it!

The entire home buying process with Del Webb/Pulte was extremely well organized. We knew what to expect at each step in the process and found that everyone on the Del Webb team was friendly, helpful and easy to work with. David the Builder was a pleasure to work with. He communicated well and was trustworthy. I never felt like we had to "check behind him". We did, but only because we wanted to be responsible home buyers. The contractors used were respectful and did quality work. Is the house perfect? No. There is no such thing as a perfect house. We are very pleased with our home and we love living in SCP.
