Everyone with Pulte is very welcoming!!

No major issues to date

My experience with Del Web and Pulte was very good. Although we ran into some rough snags due to my purchase being based on a contingency, the team worked diligently with me to get everything done in a timely manner. Phil was my contractor and Dave was my sales agent. They were both outstanding during my purchase process, always responded to my emails a calls. Purchasing a new home can be overwhelming with all the information you are given. Although I have built several homes in the past from the ground up, there were some things that my experience I thought was standard. However with Del Web everything is an option. This is not a negative blow, buyers just need to be aware so you can get it added. By the same token many of the standard items I received were surprisingly nice, as they had not been standard with my previous builds. My overall experience was great and I love my community!! ... Our experience was very easy. Our salesperson and building manager were both great. Kept us well informed and helped tremendously.

Our Builder, Roby handled all details of our closing and any minor quality issues professionally and completely. He went out of his way to make sure that our move in went smoothly. A real joy to deal with him and a company that stands behind their products.

I’ve built several homes over the years- and this was a very easy process. Thoroughly enjoyed partnering with my Del Webb sales agent and construction manager to build my dream home.

My new home was built with all the bells and whistles I wanted. It's cozy and modern. The Pulte Project Manager was always prompt with his answers. I could not ask for a better place to live.

If you put it into perspective that 'no house is perfect' and make the decision to accept the disappointments and focus on the better, I think the overall of the house is good. I wanted to point out that in picking options process for your house was both fun and with anxiety. The two options I need to address were changing primary bedroom to a 'bow window' in which would enlarge the width of the room. My goal was to have at least 1.5 to 2 feet extended in center of the bow on the inside of the room. But by the time I discovered from the Pulte sales agent that the bow window only extended by 1 foot or less on the inside, she said she gave us the 'exterior measurements' at the time of the sale and was too late to change. The option costed us $6000 and bought me only by 1 foot or less in center of the bow! The other option is worth raising an issue was that the kitchen cabinets have option for 'full overlay' which meant the cabinets doors would install close together per Pulte sales agent. However, in reality, they didn't. The option was $1000 to have cabinets doors to install 'almost' close together. It would have been better to have them install close together for a higher price. Lastly, after you moved in and found things around inside and outside of your house either didn't look right or didn't work right. I entered these warranty items in both using their email link AND our Pulte account portal and waited for more than 3 weeks and got no response from Pulte customer care. I would not want home buyers to know my experience.

Be EXTREMELY careful with the "come on" low cost advertised mortgage interest rates. I ended up paying over 1.1% more than their original commitment due to an "error" on their part.

What you see in model (and we don't mean the upgrades) doesn't necessarily represent what you get as a final product quality. Also, be, be aware this builder does not adjust grading after you purchase so be sure to be accept the grading on the lot you select. Finally, be ready to be nickeled and dimed for things that you would assume would be part of a "Luxury Builder"

It does come as no great surprise to me that I am being asked to fill out a survey for a house that is actually 400 miles away (River Lights, Wilmington NC) from the neighborhood where I actually did buy (Griffin GA). The Georgia house experience was great… the quality appears to be outstanding… and certainly a terrific value. With that said… run as fast as you can AWAY from Pulte Mortgage… which they try to incentivize you to use.

The finish workmanship is very average at best. The issues I've found are cosmetic and could have been corrected on installation with a very minimum of effort.

The house wasn’t ready for the walk through.

They were very easy to work with. They were open with everything, no hidden surprises. Everything was done as they said. We had a couple of warranty issues after moving in but they were quickly resolved. We are very pleased.

Everything went smoothly during the building process. All workmanship is of high quality. Any issues were quickly and expertly addressed. Del Webb was determined to please us and they did. Would highly recommend Del Webb and Pulte homes.

We have only been in our home 30 days so I can't really rate the post-closing responsiveness to issues, but I can say that I monitored my construction from breaking ground to closing and the house was well made, my project manager was very responsive during the pre-closing phase, and I suspect my post-closing experience will be similar. The bottom line is that I would recommend to others that they get a great home in a great community, and Clayton is a great and upcoming part of the Triangle area.

We are so happy with our new home!! Working with Nate in the sales office and Jon our construction manager was a pleasure. They were able to take care of and answer any questions we had. I never want to move again,but if I had to I would definitely choose to build another Pulte/Del Webb home.

We've built three homes over the years and this has been our best experience by far. The sales staff was courteous and helpful and very responsive. Our construction manager, Crandall, was fabulous. He kept us informed and made sure we understood everything we needed to know. We are very happy with the quality of the construction and love the neighborhood. Thank you, Pulte Homes!

If something could go wrong, it did go wrong with our home build. It feels like they are building too fast with no quality checks. Our project manager was friendly but dropped the ball so many times. How anyone can be a project manager and not be organized is ridiculous. We live locally and would check on the home once a week. We found issues every single time we looked. Small issues can be overlooked but we have been in the home a little over a month and we have major issues. Pool leaks (using a contractor being used by Del Webb), roof issues (may need to be redone), missing part on a furnace (that our project manager knew about and never let us know) and we've been through 2 microwaves. Building a home requires attention to details and that was absolutely not done for our home. I felt like I had to project manage it myself, which I assume most people would not be able to do. We love the neighborhood but our home build was very stressful. They told us a closing date, which we knew could never be met. We pushed back to move it out 3 weeks. Even then, we didn't close on time. Issues have been dealt with professionally and our warranty rep has been extremely helpful. It puts him in an awkward position helping us on things that should have been done prior to closing. We did have an independent inspector and he found a lot. I recommend our neighborhood but I can't give the builders a positive review. ... More
