In December my husband and I decided to move from Jacksonville to Port Saint Lucie Florida. We toured many communities and chose Del Webb in Tradition for many reasons. They began with our sales consultant Ryan. He was very personable and he made us feel comfortable with the process. Ryan was extremely knowledgeable about the community and construction procedures. He was able to guide us to the right model and layout to best suit our needs. He was able to answer all of our questions regarding options and cost factors. We felt confident about all of our decisions and we enjoyed the regular updates Ryan sent us during the home construction. The entire team including Ryan, Stacy, Luis and all of the construction tradesmen and managers did everything possible to complete the home ahead of schedule for us. Community and neighbors are very good. Highly reccomend this location and facilities. Most residents I have spoken with are happy with the community but have horror stories relating to the build quality. A little more attention to detail in the interior finishes would yield the builder a totally different review. I hope the Del Webb brand is listening and raises their standards. House plan is very good. Finish work such as sheet rock, painting, tile are poor. The subcontractors Pulte hires are not held to any standards in the rush to get the house built and closed. Plan on spending at least 2 months after closing waiting for repairs and settling for less then full satisfaction. ... More

I love my home! And I would do it all over again. The people here in the neighborhood are great. I've met a lot of good friends already. I can't wait for the amenity center to be done.

I must say that it was a difficult transaction due to my sale of my current home. . Jeremy, the sales agent was great answered all my questions. Greg, the construction manager is very responsive when I had any issues around the home that I needed fixed. The only issue I have was the sales agent manager took a very long response time and held some things up.

Poor / incomplete finish work, damaged surfaces / cabinet wall, cheap / rough / gouged trim, bowed walls / poor drywall mud sanding prior to painting (unsure if primer was applied prior to thinly applied paint), missing trim, misaligned outlets and switches, cheap garage door (rattles, loud, only 1 spring for a 2 car garage), excessive cracks in patio and entryway concrete, patches of brown sod on property, HOA did not reach out to new residents (homeowner responsibility), waited 3 weeks for garbage and recycling receptacles, purportedly a gated community only to find out that the property walkways were opened to surrounding communities shortly after moving in and vehicles cut through the property for a short cut, house was vandalized prior to closing, someone tried to enter the house shortly after we moved in, had to consult with SmartCom during the buying process (paid for equipment that had to be changed out for a more comprehensive security company and for integrated systems) and was not informed that ADT was an option (only found out when it was listed on one of the Title documents), the title company parking / building was convoluted and deserted. In general, not set up for 55+ due to fall / injury hazards (some examples - tall cabinets requiring the need to stand on a step ladder, trip hazard in garage due to lip by garage door to keep water out, burn hazard microwave at head height, lacking exterior handrails for homes with multiple steps). ... Pulte Homes are not the quality that they tout! Many materials are low grade, paint is HORRIBLE, etc. MOST subcontractor; as I put it; “nobody gives a *#’t”. However, the Pulte Employees themselves valued the “relationship” and to provide an exceptional experience for the Homebuyer. To name a few outstanding individuals within the Pulte Organization in our “build process”; Tosha(sales), David(Construction MGR) and Kaitlan(Customer Care Manager)really went out of their way in the pursuit of excellence!

For the price of half a million dollars, they put in poor quality appliances. Oven hasn't worked for half of the time, ceiling lights have tripped breakers as well as the oven. Doorbell replaced. NO sound deadening between floors. Chrome fixtures mixed with nickel. Light bulbs flicker and die within one month. Lowest grade of master shower enclosure, no ledge for shaving legs, had to put a stool in there. Difficulty knowing who to contact when you have an issue. They suggest an email to use. No help in guiding us through all the registration procedures for appliances and HVAC units. Nails have popped out of sheetrock. No clear guidance on who to contact about each problem: Pulte or Dartmouth. We are disappointed. ... More

We had an overall great experience with our builder for the DelWebb North Penn Community. Unfortunately, we purchased in a very hot real-estate market and feel the price was higher than we wanted to pay. Not really a knock on the builder, just a sign of the times.

Happy to have made the decision to move to the Sun City Mesquite NV location.

I can only say positive things about the construction of my home.

We loved stone creek and the homes offered in our price range. We had a fantastic realtor and SC salesman. I didn’t understand the lot sizes and location choices before jumping the gun and buying. After they started building I found out there wasn’t enough room to install the pool I desperately wanted. Our salesman knew that’s all I wanted. He told us we could fit a pool. I now know his idea of a pool and mine are totally different. So be careful and ask the right questions like sizes.

I would rate the entire experience of contracting, purchasing, and he quaility of construction of my new Del Webb home as excellent!

The house has warranty on everything.

Our project manager did an excellent job and worked with us the entire way. Felt like I could trust him when I was not around. He was super responsive to my concerns and questions and made sure that every detail was addressed especially at the end of the build. Morgan is an excellent Project Manager!

Although we are very happy with the home, we’ve lowered our ratings as a small issue (identified in the pre closing inspection) remains unresolved - despite repeated promises to address it.

Overall Pulte did an excellent job. However, upgrades were overpriced and wire shelves in the closets are unacceptable at this price point.

Our sales person Melissa was very professional and knowledgeable. Our second construction manager Daniel corrected incomplete work issues. So far our customer care rep. John has answered any of our concerns, we are only in our home one month.

Response to inquiries were prompt and construction manager has a high work ethic to insure the home met all quality inspections on time.

Pulte did a great job building our dream home. We appreciate the attention to detail and making things right.

I have experience building homes. During construction, I reported obvious errors. They were corrected. But, I noticed poor workmanship throughout construction and this situation was confirmed after we moved in, eg, sloppy painting and caulking, doors not properly hung, cheap materials, etc. I am slowly correcting these issues. We are glad we moved but house not worth what we paid-not yet anyway.

Matt was great during the sales process. Once we were ready to move in , Alex was very helpful

After moving in we discovered some minor things that needed to be addressed. The warranty representative responded quickly to our request to have the issues resolved. They quickly visited the house to assess the issues and within a couple of days scheduled the appropriate contractors to resolve the issues.

We were hesitant to start a new home build remotely but felt confident in Del Webb and the staff to take a risk. We were completely informed, each step was described then executed flawlessly. We were sent many photos and were informed of milestones so that we could plan in advance for trips to meet or simply look at our new home. It was a great experience with timelines met and no problems. We are in our home now for about 3 weeks. We have had 3 minor issues which were resolved almost immediately, but could have been avoided with a specific quality check. Our team has been outstanding, Paul, Blue, Kristine, and Markies. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive. We love our home! The only thing that could have been better is to have more paint choices besides flat or satin. We chose satin and it doesn’t hold up well and needs a ton of touch up, which could have been avoided by being able to choose eggshell. Also, the baseboards would look better if installed AFTER installing tile rather than before; same paint issue. ... More
