several contractor no shows for follow-up work

Bob, our sales person, provided exceptional service and his interpersonal skills are excellent. He provided answers to all our questions and if he didn’t have the information on hand he quickly sought out an answer. There was no pressure to buy which we appreciated. It was a pleasure working with Bob. Jim, our building superintendent, was also great to work with . He kept us apprised of progress on our home’s construction and always answered our questions promptly. This is the ninth home we have had built. Six were custom homes followed by two homes built in another active adult community. Thus with our previous active adult experiences we were not surprised about the smaller space between the homes, the limited number of options available in most areas of the construction, along with no custom work being done. For lack of a better word, these are “cookie cutter” homes constructed rapidly but the end product is good. Option costs are somewhat higher than most people would expect them to be. In our opinion buyers of homes in most active adult communities have to look at the “total package” they are purchasing. They are getting a nice home along with various amenities not found in most neighborhoods. The HOA assures the homes values will be maintained with their rules and regulation. And, one of the major benefits is the opportunity to live among older adults who are also interested in pursuing an active lifestyle in their senior years. Austin was absolutely the best construction manager! We were very impressed with his skills, attention to detail and responsiveness to our questions. He made the home building process feel safe and secure. We are really loving our new home!!!

The experience was a good on.

Brian sales representative was excellent to work with. Very helpful in guiding through steps. Always available and responsive to all my questions via phone and email. Daniel contractor did a great job with both walk through. Has been responsive in helping us take care some issues that have arise.

Our experience with Del Webb has been great with the exception of a few bumps in the road. We lived in another state while building our home which gives a huge disadvantage. However, our Construction Manager, James, was phenomenal. He addressed our concerns while building, and he took his time with us while doing our walk throughs. He was patient with all of our questions, and he really cared whether or not we were happy with our results! We have a couple of outstanding items to be finished, but feel that they will be resolved soon.

Living in a beautiful home and a beautiful community in the hills of Buckeye, Arizona

Our sales associate Nate was really easy to work with "long distance" and helped us in many areas that were not his department... Ryan, our construction superintendent was so easy to work with, informing us, sending us information and pictures to keep us apprised and on schedule!

Our experience was very good. Closing process was explained very well and completed with no issues. Project Superintendent deserves an 11 on a scale of 10 as highest score.

Buying a home is never an easy thing. But the whole team here at Dell Webb has made it a little easier. Granted it’s not a custom home and many of the things I want will be added or changed over the years, and we always feel we overpaid for things, but in the end, Dell Webb has come through and delivered as promised and I’m in a wonderful home with a great support team that I know will be there for me over the coming years. I love the location and the sun city lifestyle and Dell Webb made that happen. Thanks Dell Webb..

The home is great. Construction representatives were really responsive to our requests. We love the area. I would give everything 5 stars except Pulte Mortgage made the closing extremely stressful - they left everything to the last minute and did not communicate their requirements clearly which lead to massive confusion.

Overall, a good experience start to finish

From beginning to end my experience was excellent. Ms Parrott was great in showing us around and helping us to narrow the selections of houses. Thomas Johnson our contractor was amazing. He saw issues before I did and had them corrected. He was timely in providing responses. Our home was finished when he said that it would be finished. Excellent work was performed by Thomas and his crew.

Both Elaine (sales) and David (the construction manager of our home) were excellent - knowledgeable, responsive, respectful of our concerns, and both followed up with us to ensure we were happy with the information provided or issue resolved. In hind site I wish we had asked questions about grading, elevation, water flows, and when the home was actually built - the answers may have influenced which home we actually bought, not whether or not we bought.

Home built and purchased nice

The sales staff and construction manager were extremely responsive and kept us informed during the entire process. You should know that once you sign the papers is is impossible to make changes (i.e. no ECOs). Workmanship was good, but we caught a few glitches that were immediately addressed by our construction manager. Overall, the process and the resulting house was great.

The house is great. However, we had some significant problems with the landscaping. We looked forward to having a completed yard when we moved in. When we arrived the sod that was installed was terrible and the irrigation had some significant problems resulting in a sink hole in the front yard. We have spent a significant amount of money to repair the problems.

THE NEW HOME EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD.

Door bell has never worked. Door to bathroom doesn’t close. They were supposed to come yesterday to fix it but didn’t show

Very good design and layout. Little disappointed very noisy of traffic from interstate.
