From our first visit to look at Sun City to now our fourth week in our new house, everyone was not only outstanding in their function - sales, mortgage, construction engineer - but also made us feel as if we were being supported through the whole experience by a good friend. Responsiveness to needs, questions and concerns was always fast and followup excellent. Can't say enough good about the Sun City/Pulte people we interacted with.

Everyone we have dealt with has been exceptional.Made the whole experience of home buying very smooth.

After building a number of custom homes in the past, I found Del Webb incredibly inflexible. They were very over priced, behind schedule and the workmanship was poor. I think much of this may be attributable to the pressure Del puts on sub contractors to complete their work. I know I sound very negative - in the end, we are happy with our new home and the location.

From working with our salesman Mark to working with our building manager Ali and follow up from Chris, everything has been great!

We are happy with our purchase but disappointed by some of the small details not addressed until after closing and then other issues that presented themselves within the first month. The issues though, were addressed in a timely fashion.

Generally OK. Moving in over Christmas seems to have gotten some of our small issues with “partners” lost in the shuffle. Took a month to get sprinkler system working. Still haven’t heard from security system people (6 weeks and counting). Still have a cracked concrete issue.

My wife and I visited Del Webb for six years and Tanya was the salesperson we dealt with. Tanya is amazing and played a vital part in our purchase.

Lack of communication. Sales consultant forgot who we were after closing. Another employee has been very helpful, as we had previously expected when purchasing a Del Webb home.

The day we closed, the punch list wasn’t completed. The tile and carpet floor was a mess. There were no shower heads in either bathroom. More important though was the drain in the master bath was completely blocked. It had to be jack hammered down to the P trap. That took days. After the drain was repaired the repair job to the tile was unacceptable so the tile work had to be remediated. Much better but still not perfect. There is still an unfilled shallow hole in the rear lot. Construction manager say it’s now the HOA responsibility. Of course I’m well down on the HOA maintenance list. Building experience was good. Building supervisor did a great jo keeping us updated on progress of construction.We’ve bought and sold 8 homes in last 53 years. This is our last final forever home, but I can’t even start to describe how terribly disappointed we are in the quality. Everything in our home is substandard poor quality-WITHOUT EXCEPTION from drywall, paint, countertops, plumbing, unusable handicap bars, door that opens the wrong direction, loose door facing on sliding glass door, cracked LVP flooring. Based on previous buying and building experiences, it would appear no licensed trades (except electricians) worked on this house. ... More

the actual trades that were subcontractors were the Achilles heel in this project. Some basic carpentry/plumbing skills (90 degree base molding vs 45 degree, water supply lines hanging out off wall and not attached, wall texture on all switch plate covers and wire shelving in closets, etc.) were just not present in many areas. Too many items had to be corrected which slowed process and allowed for a distrust/questioning of competence mind set to evolve. CM was continuously aggravated at poor workmanship. He got most errors fixed, but his time could have been much better spent.

I purchased a quick move-in home. The process went smoothly and every square inch of the property was inspected.

Just moved in. So far everything is going fairly well. The HVAC system keeps tripping a breaker. I have a call in. We’ll see how responsive the home warranty group is.

Our experience with Del Webb exceeded our expectations! Lauren’s professionalism, attention to detail and suggestions as we explored the amenities Del Webb offers was extremely helpful. Eric’s weekly photos gave us a play by play of the progress of the build and he was always available to answer our many questions. Last but not least Brian made sure all of our construction questions were answered and quickly handled any problems.

Friendly sales agent. Build manager did not follow through on commitments. Fit and finishes below expectations for house at this price point. In particular, the paint and its application were poor. Design center options were too limited. Clubhouse appears to be undersized for the size of community.

I was generally pleased with the home I built but did have some surprises such as the fact that ceiling fans were not included but I will have to pay for and install them. This also goes for the lighting over the island. No lights there or over the dining table. Also there were no towel rack in either bathroom. Just what home is built without towel racks. to have a complete home built all these things should have been included. I was only told of this when I did the pre-closing review of the home or found out after moving in. it is as though the contractor cut all the corners they possibly could in order to maximize profit. Very unhappy with these items not having been included. After moving in there were a number of items that I am having problems with such as several electrical problems, having patched several places and not even attempting to cover it up by sanding effectively and then spray texturing over the patching.and particularly the fact that the sprinkler system was set to water every day for an extensive period of time. Since I did not move in for several weeks after closing and did not have the sprinkler system guy come out to provide instructions, as recommended by Pulse homes, for about a week after moving in, I am now facing a $500.00 water bill. the sprinkler system tech that came out stated that the system was dramatically overwatering and reprogramed the system to water twice a week and for a far shorter period of time than what was originally set. Very unhappy with facing the $500.00 water bill that I will have to pay. These things are things that the future homeowner should have been told about prior to signing a contract for the home. ... The builders team was excellent and the construction manager was the best!! He was very informative and answered all my questions and concerns, and knowledgeable!

Pulte has made me feel (as well as other neighbors) that once you close on the house that’s the end of repairs promised by construction manager to get fixed. I’m very disappointed by these actions. When speaking with CM he always pushes my request off to others or says it will be scheduled. I never get any notifications of scheduling dates.

Two months late on closing. Nothing for that inconvenience. At time of walk through a lot of little things to be completed and after 6 weeks we are still waiting on trim and paint. Workers are scheduled and don’t show up. I have complained about a pot-a-pottie in front of my home multiple times and it’s still there. Positive side community is nice.

This was our third new build construction home, and sadly it's the worst as far as quality. The attention to detail and overall craftsmanship is lacking throughout. Unfortunately, it's the sign of the times given the labor pool. The folks building homes today simply do not care about the work they do. They get paid by the job regardless of how poor their work is and it shows. Ironically, Del Webb BayView is part of Pulte's "flagship" line of homes, but you wouldn't know it. As bad as the homes are in Bayview, there are far worse builders/homes out there. Buyer beware is all we can say ... good luck! ... More

Excellent experience from start to finish. Matt, our sales rep, was very patient and always responded promptly to our phone calls and emails as we went through the process of deciding whether to purchase and which model best fit our needs. Home was completed within the timeframe given to us which made our move much easier. Very pleased with the quality of the construction.

We had a great experience with Pulte homes. From contract signing to final delivery, it was a great experience and they finished on time! Our punch list was minimal. Andrew, our construction manager, was great and communicated well. Angelique, our quality control person, found every minute detail prior to closing.
