Extreme drama at last minute regarding possible change of closing date. Items identified pre-closing were not resolved. Many instances of shoddy workmanship.

Everyone I have had the pleasure of dealing with was exceptional

We were very pleased with all aspects of buying our new home at Bellwether by Del Webb.

The project manager Tim was great to work with and wants to provide the home you deserve. However the quality of the work performed by the subcontractors was much less than expected and I don't believe his bosses or Pulte really care about delivering a quality product. In my opinion Pulte doesn't provide the project managers the tools to achieve a quality home, nor do they have much oversight or control over their subcontractors. Every homeowner here had/has the same systemic issues with the build quality: 1) Trusses not parallel, that are sagging or missing several gusset plates and even cracked. 2) Concrete with cracks right after the pour and with dips and valleys noticeable after the flooring is installed. 3) HVAC drain pipes are still routed through non-insulated areas and are still freezing. 4) Hot water lines are not insulated and water will not get hot at certain faucets. 5) Pulte can't tell you where electric outlets will be because there is not electric schematic the electrician works off of. But they'll provide one anywhere you want for $75 on the day you decide to buy and sign a contract. After the pre-drywall inspection my review was similar to this review about systemic issues in the build quality and Chad from Pulte called. At certain times during our conversation he was and certain times he wasn't Tim's manager. When I said there appears to be systemic issues discovered in my home and with all the builds based on my conversations with other home buyers he wasn't the manager. When I said Tim is great to work with he was. His talking point was that he was calling to help us set, aka: lower, our expectations. My biggest recommendations are these. Hire an inspector! Everything doing the buying and building process was great, however as soon as we closed on the property we got radio silence, No response back from simple questions and the warranty dept does not exist (being ignored, no return email or call). Our stars would have so much higher, if the post close had been the same as doing the building process

Pulte's team pulled together and resolved a disaster and turned it into a wonderful experience. I bought my first Pulte home in 1979 and I would buy Pulte again but this is my forever home. I would recommend Pulte to anyone who was in the market for a new home.

I was living 6 hours from the community during the construction of my home. My site superintendent, Chris did a fantastic job of keeping me updated every step of the way! Once I was moved in, the quality and attention to detail was evident. I’m very pleased with my experience with Del Webb and my new home!

We are very pleased with our new Del Webb home. Our Construction manager Daniel was very knowledgeable,professional and responsive every step of the way. The build process went smooth and quickly.

As this was our first time building a new home, we were quite apprehensive, especially after reading some of the reviews. When we had our first meeting with the Construction Manager Mike R, all of our fears were allayed. We went into the building process with much more confidence. Since we were renting in Sun City Hilton Head, we would visit our homesite every week. It was fascinating to see our new home during the construction process. When we had the first County inspection for pre drywall, Mike R explained in detail what needed to be corrected. We passed the next inspection and it was smooth sailing from there to the completion. Mike R was there during our Celebration meeting the day before closing and walked us through the house explaining everything in detail. Our experience with the whole process in selecting our model, talking with our sales rep, Design team, Building Manager in charge of the completion of our home was great. They were very helpful,, patient with all our questions and concerns . Moving, from out of state to a brand new area is very stressful and they helped us through the whole experience to feel comfortable and confident . Still trying to maneuver through an entire new section that is under construction , the only downfall in it all, but looking forward to seeing it all come to completion.

Very little if any quality control - no follow up of contractors or subs. Walls way off, windows bowed to the max, expensive floors destroyed by not being covered up and many trades trapzing in with little care. Walls sprayed that look like milk was applied rather than paint. No semi in baths or kitchen. Garage not painted. Locks that don't open. Walk in showers with rain head above and so crooked it was dumb. Kitchen island a complete mess. Home not cleaned well at all upon turning over of keys. Second garage door inoperable. What is worse... everyone and i mean everyone has nothing good to say about their construction. Electrical plates so crooked it's ridiculous. Love the design of the home, will get through this, but i would never ever buy anything again from Pulte. It's been truly awful. ... More

We looked at four other condominiums in the area of Oxford and Seymour. It didn't take long for us to make an offer.

Overall standards for pulte homes have gone down.

Our home was finished and ready for occupancy a week before it was promised. I have never heard of that happening before to me or any of my friends. It is well built and the few things that needed fixed were minor issues.

The buying experience was not stressful. The quality of the house is awesome. Del Webb has their processes down, construction, sales, design center, financing and closing. Well done.

The sales person, Theresa, was awesome keeping me updated on the building process. I love the floor plan and the corner lot was a good choice. The kitchen cabinets were not the best quality, the stain chips off easily. No cement walkway to pull out trash pails. Have to run over the plants to get them out. Other than that I love the house! The amenities are wonderful! Resort style living!

Darren, our sales agent, was very thorough and extremely responsive. He would respond or reach out even on his days off. You can trust Darren to do exactly what he says. Our builder, Mark, is top notch and stayed with us, in tight communication, throughout the process and even beyond as he stopped by yesterday which was a full month past closing. Pulte makes a very high quality home and we love Del Webb and the amenities offered. Make this place your home, you will not regret it!

The whole experience with Pulte was very pleasant. From the initial sales process with Ross, who was incredibly helpful, to Tina in the mortgage and financial aspect, who was very patient, accessible and also helpful, to Niko in the construction area who went out of his way to make sure I was completely satisfied with the resolution of any issues. They all were marvelous and I am very happy in my new home. It has been a great experience.

We wish that Pulte,would have been more flexible with our closing date. It seems everything had to be by Pulte rules. The outside paint job on my home was terribly substandard hopefully it will be corrected for future home buyers.

Working with the Pulte team was easy and enjoyable, Darren, Paul, Alyssa and Ryan all are great to work with, responsive to our needs and communicate promptly. Overall we are very satisfied with the quality of the home and the workmanship, but a bit disappointed in some of the quality of the upgrade items in the home. We added a lot of upgrades about 35% of the base home price, and some of these upgrades were not as expected. Other finishes are fabulous but costly. We are happy to be in our home and expect to enjoy our life here in the community. So I would give our overall a 4.9 out of 5.

Our sales agent, Jeff and construction manager, Chris were very professional and responsive throughout the construction process.

It was great experience working with the sales team, design center and building manager. The mortgage folks were also very helpful.
