The sales agreement is absolutely terrible--ridiculously one-sided. We initially decided against Del Webb because of the Agreement. But after finally deciding to go forward based on what we learned from a few residents, and the buying and building experience was absolutely first rate. These people do what they say they're going to do, faster than they say they're going to do it, at the agreed to cost. They have strict boundaries regarding options and upgrades, but as long as you stay within those boundaries, everyone is very easy to work with and not entirely inflexible. We've build several custom-build homes, and this is our first experience with a production builder. I was ready for us to be disappointed, especially with responses t post-close warranty issues. But we have no complaints whatsoever, and I'd feel comfortable recommending De Webb Nexton to anyone. ... More

Getting someone to show up to fix an issue- so far a month. Construction around you is difficult when you need to get in or out of your driveway. The board needs to be more proactive about real issues. Communication seems to be an issue here. Once they sell you they are pretty much done with you.

Alexis was our construction manager, and she did a great job with communication and follow through. Pulte is lucky to have her.

It starts with the Del Webb realtor agent who’s product and area knowledge stand out, and my agent Dana is that person. Dan’s insights/professionism exceeded my expectation. From our initial meeting to the design center to the closing, Dana was always available to answer my questions. When the build started my project manager Jack took over. Jack provided all necessary updates throughout the build process and answered every question I had. The project completion target date was right on which helped my wife and I with our temp. I was glad that I hired an independent home inspector to join at various phases of my home's construction. A number of quality flaws and irregular build practices were caught, and corrections were requested. Pulte did make the necessary corrections or explained why non-traditional methods were employed. I did find small spots of paint from the rolled ceiling on my bathroom counters and various walls. Concrete pavement could have been higher in quality and free of damage from ongoing construction. One section of side lawn shrubbery died off when one zone of my irrigation sprinklers had not been connected to power in the control box. ... More

Love the floor plans, place is very nice. Salesperson did give us some misinformation specifically that the water and sprinkler system are part of HOA and that the taxes would be 1900 per year. At closing we found out the irrigation system is our responsibility and the 1900 taxea is onlyy for first year the it goes up because the house was built. Would not of changed our minds but ho eaty took a hit.

We are happy with our home but have some unfinished landscape work and trim work that needs to be addressed, very difficult to get anyone to make it a priority or receive a schedule that they can meet. Waited four hours last week and contractors never showed and no communication from anyone.

The workmanship has a lot to be desired. I think the building of the house was rushed and the attention to detail was lacking. We had numerous problems with the house. The response to the problems was excellent and our project manager was on top of everything.

Our builder walked through the house with us a few days before closing. Between all of us ( Michael, our builder, and my wife and me, we were able to address any concerns. Everything that was discovered during the early walk through was addressed. After closing, we had issues with our yard. Our builder assisted us in getting the problems resolved. Our Del Webb build was basically a worry free process! Oh, and it was finished ahead of schedule!!

The house was not built to quality standards. too many problems and mistake by the tradesmans that take a of convincing for a house that still under warranty.

The house is very nice. The workmanship is just okay. Pulte should provide an independent QA/QC company once house is complete. They should also provide a house cleaning service to clean the house from top to bottom before purchase is complete.

The whole process from start to finish could not have gone any better. Savannah & Dana in sales, Henry in the welcome center, Ann-Mishoe in the design center and last but by no means least Alexis (Lex) our Construction Manager were awesome!! I felt extremely well informed throughout the selection, design and construction process and what few adjustments we requested were handled flawlessly. Our new home is exactly what we designed and hoped for and we couldn’t be happier..

My wife and I really enjoyed buying our vacation home in Del Webb Nexton. We had a great team who took really good care of us and helped us have a great overall experience. I would highly recommend the builder and this wonderful community.

Average home that could be in any other Pulte community. We thought being in 55+, Pulte should have designs that accommodate seniors such as all zero-step entries, zero-step showers as standard, built-in shower bench should slightly slope forward so water doesn’t pool on bench, cabinets should not hit appliances or other cabinets when open and light switches should be in close proximity to doors instead of homeowner having to take several steps to reach light switches in the dark especially in the garage. These are not things that are difficult to figure out and should be standard for an older demographic. We live in a typical house with no considerations like this and that house happens to be in a 55+ community. I had a great experience in buying my home from the selection of home style to the completion. Workmanship was excellent.

Quality of workmanship is subpar! To get something fixed impossible takes forever!! If you measure each room including sunroom the measurements are smaller then what brochure says!!!! Bought property driveway was somewhat flat had walk thru now driveway is 45 degrees which is stupid especially since your selling to an older crowd. I would have had 2nd thoughts if I knew!!!!

Dana and Alexis were fabulous-on top of everything. Very quick response to any issue.

The Del Webb Nexton is a beautiful setting, with quiet streets, beautiful ponds, and exceptional Clubhouse and outside pool. The home building process was a disappointment as limited upgrade options are offered, and the finishing work - caulking, attention to details, etc - is unsatisfactory. However, our building supervisor, Jack, is an extraordinary professional who quickly responds to issues, quickly determines the root cause and makes the necessary contacts to remedy the problem. He really is a very valuable asset to the Del Webb Nexton community. The community itself is very well laid out, with walking paths and well-maintained common areas. My wife and I found this to be a superior community compared to other 55+ offerings in the Charleston area. ... More

Getting repairs done is allful and difficult, Constution was sub par Not many choices

Our Project Manager, Keenan, was extremely helpful and kept us informed every step of the way. We felt our process was as being watched over by a consummate professional.

our construction supervisor Jack communicated verbally and with media very effectively. Very helpful when you build a home from 1,000+ miles away and do not see the home in person from lot purchase to move in. Our situation was a bit unique in that two family members were building the same homes at the same time just several homes apart. - both remotely. Jack arranged the supervision of both homes which was extremely helpful and reassuring. Did not have to do it but he made it happen! Also, Kathy our sales person (same person again) was ALWAYS there to sort out questions throughout the process and her interest frankly saved me from some embarrassing and costly mistake. She made a huge contribution to sorting through the Del Webb maze to get things done. We never had an open question open more than a few hours. Both people went above and beyond to find that balance and definitely made a difference in the success and our happiness with the process.
