We are pleased with our home. We liked all the models and felt that they were well designed, but the Steel Creek was the right one for us. This is our first new home, so the experience -especially during these times of Covid- was a bit daunting. However, the team at Del Webb helped us every step of the way. At all times they were caring, thoughtful, and professional. We are so grateful for their support!

House was ready close to promised time. Many mostly minor issues remained, some of which still do six weeks later. All in all, a good experience however, provided remaining issues are satisfactorily resolved.

The workmanship is poor concerning the straightness of any wall, closet or woodwork and the painting is sloppy. But we are happy with the floor plan, the responsiveness of our field agent and the friendliness of the community.

Build a positive relationship with your building manager. Especially if you are building from a distance like we were. Ask for pictures on a weekly basis so you can keep track of the progress. Also write everything down describing any changes or additions, including annotating diagrams and schematics. That will make it easier for you and your manager to reference what was agreed to and avoid issues down the road. And be proactive. Get all questions and issues on the table right away so they can be resolved before it's too late to change.

Del Webb builds a nice looking house. Everyone who you work with is very friendly and helpful. The service people have been very responsive. But, the quality of the original workers who do the finishing work on the houses leave a lot to be desired. Thankfully we are getting things done little by little. I think there needs to be a better quality control system as the house nears finishing.

Once we moved in we saw small things and some large that could have been corrected or had better workmanship. Carpeting seems showing, woodwork in corners and on some beams needing correcting and stains in the Master Bath shower stall. Over all they were great to work with, offered excellent value, including their incentives and have remained true to their word.

structurally my home is sound; the majority of the trades that work for the builder are competent, except for the finishes (painting and fine carpentry) and the landscaping. many minor issues needed to be addressed both before and after closing, and the builder's reps were very responsive to our requests and concerns.

The house is very nice. The workmanship is just okay. Pulte should provide an independent QA/QC company once house is complete. They should also provide a house cleaning service to clean the house from top to bottom before purchase is complete.

We had a great experience with the agent and the builder. They did need to fix several items after the two inspections we had. We moved here for the amenities, especially the indoor pool. The outdoor pool is beautiful and there is so much to do in this community. THE INDOOR POOL IS VERY COLD. We are NOT happy that the indoor pool is so cold. We were promised 86 degrees and it is not. It is very cold getting in and no matter how many times we ask to fix, we are ignored. We are hoping they actually will fix this situation because many people are not happy about it and we certainly pay enough ...

Get all issues completed before closing. Hard to get someone back in to fix after close. Get everything in writing, signed and dated so have documentation if something isn't done to your satisfaction. We are generally pleased with our build but have heard of issues from neighbors. We had 2 construction managers, others had up to 4 managers which might be the problem.

The contractor was very good informing us of any issues and responsive to all questions. Dell Web should change some options in the Sonoma Cove to help with usefulness and looks. Such as the microwave oven when ordering the gourmet kitchen. It is to small with an oversized chrome border (ugly) with the cabinet to low making the counter top below it useless. This was not shown in the model. Also the cabinet above the counter top separating the dinning room and kitchen is difficult to use. The cabinet doors open outward and you can't reach in to the shelves. We would have never ordered these ...

Design choices are decent but limited (we replaced several lights already because they don't fit our decor and no other choices). Construction quality and materials are lower quality. I am very disappointed in the quality of the drywall and painting, fit of moulding, overall construction (we have several walls that are not square!), the tile and grout is poorly done. I think they use unskilled labor for a lot of the work. We were unfortunately unable to be at the house as it was constructed and did not find these problems until after we moved in. I think many of the issues will be corrected ...

We have had some issues with a water leak since we moved in 2 months ago and they continue. I have followed the process and reported the issue but the response to repair the leak has not been what I had expected. Granted there is new construction happening and the crews may be busy with that but I think after 2 months this should been corrected. The structure itself is fine with very minor issues and we are happy with our location and house size. I just hope this is not an indication of how "warranty issues" will be addressed since we felt that was an important part of our purchase decision.

We were very pleased with our sales experience, which is most of the 4 star rating, but have been disappointed in the follow up for needed repairs from our walk-thru. We also experienced mud coming thru the foundation due to one of the trades not doing there do diligence. There are other issues within and outside the home that are disappointing and some repairs have not been resolved. .

The process of buying the home started off fantastic. Dana T and David R our sales and project manager were prompt with information and extremely helpful with getting the home started. Ann M at the design center was second to none in assisting us to come up with the home of our dreams. The disappointment started with the Pulte Finance team and the follow up of subcontractors. I will give a bit on subcontractors as finding people are an issue, I feel for the project managers as their request seem to be disrespected delaying and challenging the buyers favorable experience.

Our biggest issue is having our Construction Manager follow-up on issues that needed to be corrected. I have sent him emails, text messages, and left voice mails to get updates on when to expect the issues will be addressed. with no response. During construction he was very responsive to questions. But, since moving into our home, we have issues that are still waiting to be corrected - after nearly 2 months!

My biggest issue was that everything is rushed. These homes are pushed to be completed within 3 months. it should be 4-6 depending on the size. The tradesman just throw things up. I moved in without grout and some tiles in the kitchen, the house was dirty, the house to the office are a mess, missing insulation over the front bedroom, hole in my siding, leaking faucet and drain in master, etc. These are issues from trying to get things done to fast. I believe that the home is hopefully structurally sound, but attention to detail and the finishing touches are lacking.

Our salesperson was absolutely fantastic and helpful. Our construction manager did a great job of communicating and working with us. As we got closer to our closing date, it felt like items were being rushed and now that we are in our home, there are items that still have to be taken care of, which is disappointing as we have to work around furniture and fixtures we have installed. We love our home and the model we chose along with the neighborhood. Open items should have been 99% complete prior to moving in, and NOT having to be 'corrected' now that we are here.

We for the most part are pleased with our home, it’s amenities and location. There are still many unresolved issues and appointments to resolve cabinet concerns, carpet stains have not been honored. Waiting around for no shows has been very discouraging. Grading evaluations are pending as well as window alignment and truss gusset repair.

Great Sales Rep, construction manager, once in home it is taking 2-3 weeks out to repair/replace items, in hindsight I would have not chosen certain upgrades, overall I love the house and am remaining patient for certain shortcomings to be addressed.
