My wife and I closed on our home on March 18, 2021. We did not readily identify many discrepancies during the pre-closing walk through. After closing on the home and moving in however, we identified multiple things that needed addressIng. Specifically, the finish on the quest tub was damaged and needed to repaired, the closet door in the guest bedroom was damaged and needed to be replaced. We had three different building managers during construction. The first 2 were great but the last one seemed to lack the detailed approach of the others. We were Late e in getting into our house due to the pandemic and when we finally got here we found several things wrong and the house was not clean. The process leading up to the build was excellent. While I love my new home, due to the number of issues I’ve heard about from my neighbors since moving here, I am concerned that Pulte is trying to build too many homes too fast in Del Webb Nexton which is resulting in a loss of quality for quantity.

Builder got way behind initially ad then fired field manager. Hired new manager and everything seemed to be rushed to meet their timeline. They closed us without proper appliances (that we are still waiting o to be replaced.) Roof was not installed incorrectly and we had a roof leak the first night we spent in the home. They would not give us any official documentation of the repairs for our records. We have electrical issues (still), loose wiring in service panel and breakers popping. I’ve been in my Castle Rock for one month. Very happy to be here. Very happy with my home but there is some careless workmanship that is being addressed. Not a lot of problems and I hope it stays that way. Middle of the road building for high prices. Cut in shower pan, two broken soap dishes in showers, concrete cracks.. Neighborhood is friendly and I’m happy to be in a 55 community!

We were very excited about purchasing a new Del Webb home in Summerville, SC, but needless to say our expectations fell a little short. Poor communications, a delayed closing and poor workmanship were just a few of the reasons we were very disappointed. We paid for upgrades in almost every area, only to be disappointed with finishes, choices available and finally the end product. We are post 2 months closing and still dealing with issues.

Our first impression when walking the model homes was great. During our build there were a lot of mistakes made. The construction manager we had at first did his best to help fix things. the second manager liked to talk a lot and did not get things fixed. We closed on our house with defects noted and currently no one has come to fix them. The tile layer needs to be taught haw to lay tile, uneven and poorly laid. Overall construction is very good but "standard options" should be much better at this price point. Quick examples; you shouldn't have to pay extra to get interior window trim and 5" baseboards; carpet padding should be much better; and garage doors should be insulated instead of single layer sheet metal. We tried to keep upgrades to a minimum because the many of the prices are just ridiculous, but it still took more than $100K to turn the standard house they offer into a house we wanted but could still afford. Try to live locally to your build so that you are able to visit your site regularly and catch items as they arise so that there aren't a lot of issues after you move in.

Our home buying experience prior to closing was very professional and the sales and marketing personnel were very helpful in answering all of our questions. A week prior to our closing we completed a site walk that resulted in a lengthy "punch list" and we were lead to believe most of the items would be resolved prior to closing. The day before our closing, we conducted another site walk and were surprised that most the items were still outstanding. The company needs to follow up on claims and try to improve quality of home by reviewing the comments and seeing if they are achievable to make a home flow better. They appear to want quantity not quality!

First complete new home I've purchased. The process was poorly executed.Poor communication between field mgr. and myself,Just overall a very difficult and stressful process, Now that we are in home the house will be ok once we get all the little things done that pop up on a new build as I'm told.Its a shame to have to go thru all this when most of it could have been solved as it was constructed and not have to follow up several times

The quality of some of the workmanship was not acceptable. Paint left on carpet, wood floors, and cabinets. And stove top. Wood floor has wood missing in planks. Many cabinets not working properly or not lined up . Put in work order several weeks ago and haven’t heard anything.

The home is nice but would not give it a high quality rating. As an example there are many issues with the walls. There are nicks and pits in many places. On the hard woods it looks like a stain pen was use to cover up bad spots. And not used well at all. It looks like a kid used a marker on the floor. There are many examples where they cut corners. Do not close on your house until EVERYTHING is complete. Do a in depth inspection. Look at the molding, check the dryer vent hookup, check light fixtures, outlets, etc

Main issues were never addressed. Disappointed that our sales rep was let go. No continuity in transition. Project manager did not take care of main issues i.e. unstable toilet and flooring. Reached out to Garrett and never heard back. Very poor customer service. Issues should have been addressed immediately. We're still waiting....

Quality of workmanship is subpar! To get something fixed impossible takes forever!! If you measure each room including sunroom the measurements are smaller then what brochure says!!!! Bought property driveway was somewhat flat had walk thru now driveway is 45 degrees which is stupid especially since your selling to an older crowd. I would have had 2nd thoughts if I knew!!!!

When I went to the final walk thru and later other repair issue FOUND. The construction manager said that the issues that my realtor and I pointed out ; he SAID he would send someone by to make the necessary repairs. how many months is a person is suppose to wait?
