When we had a question we often did not receive a call back ASAP.

Building was performed on schedule even during the pandemic. Overall we are happy with the results.

We are happy with our Del Webb home and with the community My only two comments would be that they don't allow enough options for people willing to pay for them, and it would save them money to do so. They also wouldn't allow us to do some things until after closing that they later allowed people n our same village to do before closing, saving them a lot of hassle - and we are still trying to get it taken care of!

Since the Del Webb Community is not your traditional custom homes, I was not sure what to expect since the range of choices, etc. is less than usual. This is what makes them unique as they have a high to low range and you can still build a real quality home with higher upgrades to give you a great value for the price. I realized also that some extras and changes I would need to do on my own like upgrading of closet shelves, garage shelving and flooring, lights, etc. but that this could be easily facilitated with outside vendors. When we priced the home we put everything in it we wanted and then took out items we could live without. Our sales person Danielle was very helpful in guiding us through the whole process. Choosing and picking carpeting, tiles, flooring, etc. also went seamlessly by visiting the showroom. The follow up on all our needs and questions was expeditiously performed by Del Webb and its representatives. For a person that has built a custom home before, this process was a breeze and was really stress free. Work was done as promised and on time. Options are way overpriced compared to after market choices

Good builder

Both the Sales agent and Field manager provide weekly updates and responded immediately to e-mail/texts on questions I had. The Sales agent delivered on all the promises made during our initial meeting.

I am not particularly happy with this whole experience. Many instances of bait -and - switch sales tactics, starting with down payment amount at contract signing, look and care of surrounding common space, and choices of color and design of interior finish. 2 examples: one color paint for all rooms, picked from only four available colors; one color laminate flooring for all rooms. Exterior materials good quality, interior is good for only what you see. The 'in-the-wall' mechanicals are minimum,at best. Workmanship is dependent on specific trade, but overall low quality, minimum standard. And you get no custom options at all. Community, neighbors, amenities all good. Warranty work, not sure yet. Made call concerning insufficient insulation, was told non emergency repairs will be addressed after pandemic restrictions are relaxed. ... More

The process was smooth and easy. Everyone was professional, and answered all our questions. I would recommend using them. We built our home while living out of state, and was pleased with the entire process.

Love my new house, quality building and style. Closed during COVID and didn’t get good support after moving in.

Like layouts of homes

We are happy we bought in Carolina Orchards, but more for the location and amenities than the house. Pulte's design center is very unimpressive, from the offerings to the expertise of the design people. Unfortunately, the people there and in the sales office aren't as familiar as they need to be with items like the functionality of the appliances. They don't tell you what model numbers of appliances you are buying so you have to take their word for the funtionality. I caught a function error in what I was told by the sales person and the manager of the design center about what my microwave/oven combo would do. Once I saw the model numbers when delivered to the property site and looked it up, the information given to me was wrong. They changed the appliances, but at an additional cost of $1800 to me. They had no interest in accepting any responsibility. It was only 3 weeks from our closing, so I really had no choice at that point but to accept it. On the outside of the home, the landscaping is pitiful. Many of our bushes and trees were just dropped into a hole and covered with pine straw. Theres was no dirt around the root ball. Many patches of our sod were and still are completely dead when the house was delivered. All in all, like the title says, its just a production home and all that it implies. Lots of unkept promises, shoddy workmanship, and no quality control,

I was so impressed with my weekly update calls with Natalie and Jordan! They made doing this long distance easy! I love the quality of my new home.

Salesperson-mishandling of issues at closing and mishandling of issue with kitchen cabinet Building supervisor-he was responsive to issues during construction that he could control In general-poor quality workmanship and finish; poor value for a $200./sf home

Somewhat disappointed in the quality of materials and workmanship for the money we paid for the home.

This would be a five star rating except he home buying experience was marred by now a former employee and our home suffers from us making uninformed decisions with him. However, the company took action and he is no longer employed; everyone else is great..

Our bathroom tiles were so bad that it took seven times to fix. Sometimes they just wouldn't show up and other times didn't have proper tools (had to use ours)!! Very disappointed that builder contractors and reps. made us promises that were forgotten.

Everything was great until closing...Project Manager and Sales Representative were very responsive. After we moved in during heavy rains, we discovered two roof leaks damaging the ceiling in the master bath and the living room. Granite counter top in kitchen has a chip were two pieces of granite fits together. Third bedroom floor makes noise when you walk on it. Finished quality and responsiveness lacking

The buying process was easy, feature selection satisfied what we were looking for and the sales agent and building supervisor kept us regularly updated on build status throughout the process. We closed on schedule and the house was finished at closing.

Natalie and Jordan took care of all our concerns building a new nome with Del Webb. They made what could have been a nightmare a joyful experience. From selecting the lot and style home, Natalie guided every step. Jordan brought the plans to fruition. Please don’t forget to ask about the Natalie bar!!!
