low quality of finish work, house was filthy when we moved in, most appointments made to complete the punch list were ignored and we wasted hours and hours of our time waiting and we still have 20 plus items that need to be fixed/addressed and we have owned this home for one month

Our field manager Chris was wonderful. We had & still have issues that need to be addressed. He was there for us & tried his best to get things accomplished. The house was not in presentable shape at the closing . Moving into a new house should be exciting not this disappointing.

Experience with Pulte’s representatives has been less than stellar, from sales representative to field managers to mortgage company - lack of the "Courage To Do The Right Thing". Extreme lack of communication and false promises from Zach and Hampton. As the field managers, one would have thought that Zach and/or Hampton would be responsible for quality control regarding the work product of the parties constructing and providing services to the homes. They advertise a "quality build experience." However, there appears to be limited quality control. They use poor quality and inferior products. We have bowed and crooked walls, peeling floors, unpainted and poorly painted/mismatched areas. Many of the doors and much of the trim work look like a dog or rodent has been chewing on it for years. It does not look new. They got paint on the carpet and floors and left it. The floors have divots and high and low spots. The electric outlets and light switches are not always flush, not always straight, and do not match up in several places where ...

The workman did not seem to know or care about the job they were doing and materials for the most part seem inferior. The foreman did what he could considering the workman, materials, and how many homes he was overseeing.

I was not happy with the way the my house was done. Painting was sloppy both on the inside and outside. Light fixtures were poorly done. Bathrooms walls are uneven and the fan sounds like a truck when turned on. On a windy day, the kitchen vent makes a flapping sound. Calls made were usually just lip service with no response to fix the problems

We ordered the features for our house and Pulte built a feature we did not request which took away significant square footage from our house. They never told us about the variance and we found the problem when we did a final walkthru. They would not work with us to resolve the issue. They can not be trusted.

Overpriced, poorly built homes.

Very poor fit and finish to interior and exterior of these homes. Pulte promises follow-up for fixes, but it's been weeks since we had response to requests for warranty repairs. Sales staff are poorly informed about what they are selling. Construction management is overwhelmed and non-responsive. Pulte business model appears to be to put homes up as quickly as possible and then turn them over to buyers to deal with the poor results. VERY POOR model for building a quality home. Finally, plans for amenities are now changing despite what was promised apparently due to unresolved politics ...

Buy used and remodel! New build is a mess!

We purchased in March of 2022, at the height of the hysteria, and closed on 2/10/23. Had the home inspected 3 times, and found pages and pages of issues, which were addressed. The worst was yet to come with the finish work. Beaten up trim, gouges, dings, and paint speckles all over the wood floors have created a mess. Spent 14 hours scraping the paint off the floors! We didn't move in, had the crew come back for fixes, which they rely heavily on selling you the concept that you have a year to use the warranty if you're not happy. From the moment we walked into the Sales Office, Pulte demonstrated a high degree of a lack of integrity through the entire process. The Sales Team initially lied to us regarding our initial visit arrangements. Sales Team members do not get back to you when you have questions. Project Managers do not have a handle on their projects and communicating with the customer. Post close, Pulte cannot fix in a timely manner the outstanding issues which remain. Bottom line. What Pulte says they will do and what actually happens is the real issue. It comes down to integrity.

Beware of closing too soon

My experience during the build process exceeded my expectations. Lance was proactive and responsive throughout. However, I was encouraged to close with several punch list items that are still outstanding almost two months later. It seems that once you close you move way down on the priority list. Sadly, this has tainted my opinion of the house and community.

Do not believe everything you are told by sales or project management. Models look good but quality of workmanship in house is none existent. This is the third house we have built in various parts of the country. This was the most stressful and worse quality of the lot.

Buyer Beware! Pulte craftsmanship is absolutely abysmal. Defects in trim, drywall and painting is a nightmare! So much caulk is used to cover up mistakes. What is worse is that Pulte admits that trim, drywall and paint is the cause for most of the rework. Our neighbors have the same complaints. There is a lack of training and supervision, and no apparent quality control program. All of the work is apparently being done by an army of vendors and the vendors can't get qualified workers. The lack of quality and quality control is non-existent resulting in multiple attempts to resolve the same issue. It is exhausting to say the least. There is also no accountability. Pulte blames the contractors and the contractors blame Pulte. Run, do not walk, to a community that does not use Pulte. This has and continues to be an exercise in futility. Forget about any relaxation while you own a Pulte home.
