Good communication throughout the process from our sales representative and our field manager. When an issue arose, it was handled fairly and in a timely manner.

The Pulte team communicated well and kept us informed with the schedule and any issues. Overall they followed up on open items. Lance was a great manager and was always there for phone calls and issue resolution. Appreciate the teams work and follow up

I am happy with the honest and forthright approach of the Sales Staff. I am very happy with the Communication I have received throughout the building process. My Construction Manager kept me very well informed during the building of my house. He also has been very good at following up and correcting any issues discovered during the post construction period. I have yet to meet the person who is to address any other post construction issues that occur during my home’s yearly warranty period. My only comment would be that it would be advantageous and increase Pulte’s Sales to have someone local as a contact especially for us coming from out of State. ... More

We considered several options and investigated them thoroughly before deciding on Del Webb. While we have only been in our new home a short period of time, we are pleased with the available amenities and how well the grounds and facilities are maintained.

Lead contractor very informative about all aspects of construction and answered all our questions. Excellent follow up and addressing our punch list items. Overall, very good experience.

We have been in our home for about a month and like it very much. Had a few issues but they are being taken care of. The area is great and we are looking forward to getting out more once Covid is less of a problem.

Even though I lost both my salesman and my designer in the process, my overall experience was good. The only disappointment was with Pulte Insurance. My building supervisor, Steven Wood, was excellent and very responsive.

Many of the kitchen cupboards hit each other, get better hinges. The quality of carpet in guest bedroom is very good for standard. If you have instant water gas, you will need pump for it to work instantly; otherwise, it takes more time and water for it to work than a tank. Love our home, the flow of it is perfect for us.

We purchased our house on a short sale so we did not go through the design and build process. The interactions with the sales and finance teams were good. Quality of the home is below what we would expect. First and foremost is the quality of the paint used and the paint application is very poor. Additionally, there were numerous paint spots on the floor that took multiple attempts by Pulte contractors to remove. The last individual that removed the paint used Laquer thinner which has resulted in apparent damage to the floor finish which we will be identifying as a warranty issue.This is the single biggest complaint that I and the neighbors I have talked to have. Besides the paint there are basic craftsmanship issues such as hammer marks on the garage door header and dented doors and threshold which were replaced. The pocket door between kitchen and laundry room must have been damaged during install and someone attempted to repair it by “mudding” it, but it was never smoothed put or finished. We found this just after moving in and reported it and it has not yet been repaired. A couple of other small items identified at walkthrough have not yet been repaired. I bought a quick move in . Very happy with their choices. My project manager Anthony was very professional and on top on any issues that came up.

Buying the home is the easy and enjoyable part. Once I closed and then moved in, I noticed so many things wrong and imperfect. One expects a great, new home after spending all this money.

Whenmeeting with the building supervisor, we realized the quality and care that went into our new construction. We were actually lucky for buying when we did because we got many updated features that were not included before.

Last August my wife was helping a friend find a place to move from Denver. They did a stay-and-play, and when my wife returned home, she said that she wanted to join the Del Webb SCHH community. In October we flew down so I could check the place out - and we signed on the spot. The selection process is semi-customizable, as there’s always a choice of small, medium and large within lot size, house size, and choice of finishes. We were happy with our choices, and how the house turned-out. Key to our satisfaction was our assigned construction manager who kept us informed every step along the way, and wanted to make sure things were perfect before closing. With Del Webb’s construction warranty, it’s better for them to fix things up front, rather than later. We chose to be the pioneers in a new major expansion of an existing community. We were aware that our adjacent amenity center would be completed about 18 months after our close - no problems - there are already six other pools in the community to drive our golf cart to visit. We really enjoy the layout and design features of our new home and the modern conveniences that came with it. Even though we have experienced issues with workmanship and material, Del Webb has respond quickly.

We recently built a Prestige model in Sun City HH. The builder was great to work with. We were kept apprised of the building process and appreciated the check-in meetings. As with any new construction, there were some issues upon moving in that needed to be addressed. However, the construction manager was very responsive in addressing our concerns.

Expectation set of six months to build. Reality was 12 months. I understand this is getting better now. Small issues were taken care of quickly

We dreamed big, kept it real, and they got it done! Despite a global pandemic, supply chain challenges across the country, a national worker shortage, and the highest inflation in 40 years, we are in our Del Webb home, and we love it. No sugar coating...this was a tough time in the home construction industry and our supervisor Mike P. delivered. There are punch lists with any new home build and our team dealt with them professionally and in a timely manner under tremendous stress due to outside economic and workforce challenges. The quality of the structure is very good but some of the finishes leave room for improvement. The field manager, Zach, was great! He always responded in a timely manner & remedied the issues. Some of the issues relate to the lack of labor availability…a sign of the times.

Overall I am satisfied with my new home in Del Webb Sun City Hilton Head. As far as a well built home it’s hit and miss, some of the work appears to be done by experienced craftsman while other work shows the results of inexperienced overworked migrant workers. These homes are built on a concrete slab which I am told should cure for a month before constructed upon. Del Webb/Pulte starts framing the next day or two after pouring the concrete. I home I don’t pay for that down the road with settling.

We signed the contract to build our home in late February pre-pandemic. Despite the COVID challenges, our home was completed on time. There remain a few issues to be resolved, but for the most part everyone has been responsive.
