After we bought there was a transition with sales agents. We weren’t told about vinyl planking floors clapping. It was amazing the schedule that they were able to maintain. From start to finish it delayed just a week. Our builder was top notch and kept us up to date on schedule.

Overall, the experience, once project began, was a good experience...Project manager, Jerry, was responsive, attentive, knowledgeable, and addressed any concern(s) quickly...If he didn't know the answer, he promptly found the answer... On the downside, responsiveness to items that need addressing after move-in, have been less attended to...The followup to first 30-day walk through still has many items with no applied remedy/remedies to items (appliance, landscaping, tile work, etc)...Still waiting...

Finding lots of issues

When our PM was taking care of problems things were handled very well. He is excellent. When we switched over the communications slowed down. I have three issues pending right now that I still have not heard when they will get fixed. To be fair one just happened Saturday. All of our smoke alarms went off and would not reset. It’s very noisy in here when that happens. Must be a wiring issues .

The sales staff and initial builder support following purchase were excellent. We are also extremely pleased with cabinetry, flooring and carpentry. Minor issues with interior paint, especially small areas of repair, which were poorly done. Landscaping issues have been especially difficult to resolve. It appears COVID has warranty service backlogged, delaying responsiveness to some issues

Several quality issues with our new house all of which could have been resolved before closing. Has been difficult to get incomplete or defective items repaired. 12 weeks after moving in and many email and phone calls to our contract manager later, we are still trying to resolve many of the issues and feel like we are being ignored at this point.

Experience was pretty good until after closing. My construction manager was responsive and tried to help but seemed to have little authority to help resolve concerns. They should have more authority since on the front lines. Even going up the corporate ladder a bit had the same experience. Pulte is a large corporation and primary focus is on selling and getting homes closed. The attention drops significantly after close. Every new home is going to have some issues so it would be great if Pulte gave the same attention post close for up to a year as during the sales cycle. ...

We have mixed feelings about our home buying experience. We were very impressed with the sales staff and the multiple model options, all of which were very well presented. We were especially impressed with quality of the finish work in the models and also the design center staff who provided multiple options for review and selection. For the price paid over ($500,000.00)for this home the quality of the cabinets would be better then entry level/cheap builder quality. We were led to believe these were upgraded cabinets (grade 5). The finish work looks like it was done by amateurs. The woodwork is not nailed properly to the walls, and they tried to hide it with caulking which is already separating from the walls leaving a lot of gaps. Walls with bow's in them. We closed on our home in September. Our experience with Pulte Mortgage was overall frustrating and an extremely negative experience. Pulte, 2 lightbulbs in lieu of a $10 fixture for the gathering room on a home costing in excess of $800k? Really? While we recognize we’re purchasing a “lifestyle”, you can do better. Overall we are very happy with our new home. The buying process was fine except for the mortgage application. We wasted months trying to get a Pulte mortgage - finally used another lender. The quality of the home is great except for the flooring. We chose the most expensive upgrade for flooring and the floors are terrible. Wish there had been an option for actual hardwood floors vs engineered hardwood. And our dishwasher was not working upon move in and after waiting a month for a repair my husband finally uninstalled and reinstalled it properly. All the people we worked with were very nice. ...

While we love the location and community we have been disappointed with the overall sales process and the quality of the home. I can spend lots of time going into the details but bottom line is Pulte has fine tuned the overall home process so that there needs ( revenue and profit) is way more important then the customer quality and experience. We built a home in AZ with another builder and that experience and quality was a million times better.

Love the community…. But housebuying experience, not so smooth… told first Real Estate agent the street, and Sun exposure I wanted. She tried to push me on a different street. I said I guess I’ll wait or look at resale, since the street I wanted was not available. Two weeks later, I find out the lot I wanted was sold! And the street I wanted is available and she didn’t call me!? Changed agents. Got “ next best” lot. Then came building process… very rushed to pick choices, and you are locked in! No changing! Working with the sales team was very nice as I had expected it would be. Working with the construction team has not been all peaches and cream. Have had more issues than I thought. I expected more from Pulte but not sure it will ever make it my expectations, unfortunately!

Having come from a background as a custom home builder the overall experience with Pulte was less than stellar. There were deficiencies in the customer experience from the information provided on availability and timelines of lots we wanted to, the workmanship and pride in doing a job well and right the first time during construction. The end result is a home that is probably well built in general with many flaws that may not be noticed by anyone but the owners. The construction Manager Carlos worked hard to do what could be done to improve the experience.

Promises may not be kept. Pay attention to the process. Many things were told to us and they were not true. The actual building crews lack safety concerns, leave trash at the building site and just do not have experience in home building. The construction supervisors are trying to do their best with what they are given to work with. This experience has been all Pulte's way. There were no change orders accepted. None.

We found that after completing our design selections there were several misunderstandings as to what was or wasn’t included. It would be helpful if a final visual representation was provided to avoid confusion. Quality is satisfactory but we found several small flaws and issues. We’ve brought these to the attention of our customer care associate. I’m hoping we’ll be pleased when the issues are resolved
