We have had multiple quality related issues particularly with finish work. We are on the 5th crew to get problems fixed over a 2 month period and the issues aren’t resolved. Our lawn looks like they planted mostly weeds and DW/pulte is not timely addressing this problem. We would not recommend buying from DW/Pulte.

Craft workmanship absolutely horrific and rushed into the closing process into a home that was not even remotely close to be moved into. It’s been six weeks since closing and we still have a multitude of craft coming through to try to fix the inadequacies associated with extremely poor workmanship. Also equally as important, the workers in the area that are working on other homes are very disrespectful and continue to blast their music at a decibel level that can be heard inside the home. This is an absolutely horrible situation.

Closing Disaster & Selling Lies

We were told before signing a contract that we could put a pool table on the second floor (lie). Our original closing was 30 March, but the house was far from complete and all the engineered hardwood floors were damaged from paint and spackle and needed replaced. There were numerous problems, but we closed on 12 May. Pulte has been good about fixing the numerous problems, such as the island cabinet damage, no blind on one window, leaking faucet, outer garage wall not sealed from outside, GFI not working. The drywall lines look like a 10 year old did them. There was saw and drywall dust ...

They had a list of items to be fixed. Apparently customer service agent quit and list must have been lost. New agent assigned to take over. I was told to add to list with filling out a ticket. I wasted my time filling out 3 new tickets of simple things to fix (not realizing original things were never included). I’ve been here almost 2months and never heard from anyone to fix anything. But I have received a communication that I can call someone about warranty services. Included in this was websites of about everything that was not included -basically so don’t bother to call.

Difficult reaching project manager, absolutely no follow through on punch list. When we closed we became invisible. Scheduled exterior paint fixes- no show. Interior scheduled fixes-cancelled date scheduled until we’re not here.

I realize that subcontractors are responsible for the workmanship on a new home. There were several issues that need to be addressed, I fell like better management of the subs would have resulted in a better final product.

The sales and finance people did a great job. My home builder John was on top of things, but there were several issues that needed to be addressed after closing which were poor workmanship by the subs. With what we paid for this home I believe the subs should be held to a higher standard.

Very happy with Del Webb as the developer but cannot say the same for Pulte as the builder. Workmanship and responsiveness to issues was average at best. Lack of attention to details and proper completion of home did not seem to be a priority with Pulte.

The overall purchase and closing was great. No issues at all. The overall home and the build is not the same experience. The structural portion of the hoe was solid. The cosmetics of the home and workmanship was not as expected. Very disappointed in the cabinets damage and the paint and sparkling job.

Poor attention to detail and finish work. Many items left unfinished and not yet corrected, a month after closing. Examples: baseboards not properly joined, front door trim not finished, thresholds and transitions not completed, cracked window trim not repaired, chips in quarter rounds, stovetop scratched, lots of caulking not done, scuttle door in closet not finished, and more relatively small items. Came in with low expectations on quality from this builder and was not disappointed. From low end cabinets and barely meeting building codes the house is as expected. We liked location and moved with friends who wanted to live here so we got what we expected. Homes are WAY over priced for what you get but we knew that going in. No one to blame but ourselves
