My Realtor, Betty was amazing. I’ll stop there. The gentleman I started out with was unreliable and very incompetent. He is no longer there. My second builder never answered e-mails and my concerns were never addressed. I still have multiple issues, resolved for the walk-thru but have happened again. I will not refer Del Webb community’s to anyone in the future. Grounds are unsafe for us, garage area is unsafe with multiple falls being reported to the powers that be. I have wonderful neighbors and that is a big plus!

The house is great the builder done a great job and is very responsive if I need anything. The only problem we had was with the mortgage company, Pulte Mortgage, they were terrible I would not recommend them to anyone and I will never use them again. Because of their laziness my furniture and belongings had to sit in a truck for 2 days and they did not communicate well at all!!!

Irrigation system issues

My only real complaint is that the irrigation system was broken and running non stop for several days. I contacted the company who Del Webb subcontracted to install the irrigation system and they never returned my calls or emails. This went on for weeks. I ended up having to get a family member to fix the valve so it would stop running 24/7. My water bill was very very high. I would recommend Del Webb stop working with Performance Irrigation as they are completely useless once you close on your house. Everything else was good.

Pulte sales and construction people are committed and demonstrate a sincere desire to satisfy their customers. Choosing the right home design and options was the difficult part of the home buying experience. Expect to pay more for options.

Great Floorplans, Just Watch Your Customizations

We absolutely love all of the floorpans that were offered at Del Webb. Storage is a big thing on my list and the Stardom is what delivered the space that we need. The walk up attic space was a big seller for us as well. Unfortunately, they only offer one elevation that will accommodate the large attic. Once we discovered the lack of attic space we were actually given, we were told that this was the first house that they had built like ours and that they were not aware of the issue until we pointed it out. We met our sales representitive with our realtor. We decided on a lot then a floor plan. We made choices about the exterior colors. Then we met with the low voltage company and decided where to put cat6 connections for internet. We then went to the design center and picked interior colors. No issues at the house. Disappointed that backsplash for the kitchen was discontinued. Just recently experienced an issue with ring doorbell. Seems you need a special tool to remove cover which apparently comes with the doorbell but was not left.

We had the best sales manager and project manager we could have ever asked for, I have built several homes in my lifetime and these two exceeded my expectations. There were a few "average" items within our home that I was surprised Del Webb would find acceptable, but overall, I could not have asked for a better buying experience and project team. Well done!

I would say that, overall, we had an excellent experience with Pulte/Del Webb at Barton Village in Lebanon, Tennessee. The actual people we dealt daily/weekly with (sales/construction manager/project manager/vendors/mortgage company) all seemed sincere, trustworthy and motivated to deliver a quality product. Happy with new home despite some issues

We purchased a brand new 'spec home' sight unseen because of a significant price drop. We are happy with the home and the neighborhood. Is everything perfect? No. We had some issues such as an exterior door handle coming apart instantly, some electrical outlets not working, and water accumulating under the condensate. Pulte Homes and their agents responded fairly quickly and appropriately.

No Quality For the Price

We paid over $800,000 for a less than 2,000 SqFt home. The fixtures, lights, plumbing hardware, and finish trim are all builders grade on the cheep end. The switch locations for various lights make no sense, The lawn is nothing but weeds. On the plus side, the house fits our needs very well, the location is outstanding, and the Del Webb activities and social aspects are outstanding. Those are built into the house cost, but the basic house is no where near a $400 per sqft property

Both our salespeople and our construction manager were fantastic to work with! There were no high pressure sales... just answers to our questions and patience while we made our big decision. Our construction manager was top-notch! He was knowledgeable, courteous and very responsive! Best home building experience we have ever had!
