Of the more than 15 new homes we have built or purchased, this has been the worst experience. There is no pride of workmanship, quality is terrible and response to issues has been poor.

Pulte was very responsive to the quality related issues encountered. We saw shortcuts that led to some of the quality issues.

Disappointed in the quality of the workmanship compared to other Pulte homes. Cracked concrete, inside doors that are not leveled / can't be closed and which were fixed by bending door hinges. Kitchen cabinets that needed touching up. Door seals that needed to be replaced since they were short of the door width. Misaligned garage door, Paint droplets on tile floor. We had 4 windows glass panes replaced. Not sure whether the work was rushed to meet closing date.

The floor plan works well for me. The finishes are problematic. Drywall, texture, molding are all sloppy. Since moving in spent time cleaning up paint splatter off of floor, glue off of countertops. Will end up sanding down repainting areas of baseboards. Big issue such as frameless shower door that doesn’t close is being addressed quickly after working with warranty office.

It took 11 months to get into our house, with four casual emails from our sales person extending our timeline out another 2 months. Being desperate to move in we closed despite numerous items that still needed to be addressed. We've not had responses back from anyone since.

Cuts on trim, drywall and framing not done with precision leaving gaps that should not have been present. The garage was not cleaned despite repeated requests to remove globs of concrete, drywall mud, sawdust and drywall dust. I finally cleaned it myself. Texturing and painting were done haphazardly with blank areas and paint runs.the sprinkler system was not working correctly and required multiple calls to get corrected. Save your money. I bought a $150,000 KB Home in 2005 that had zero upgrades and was more focused on craftsmanship than this $650,000 Pulte home. Baseboards and door trim cut short and filled in with caulking. Wavy baseboards down the wall. Trash drawer bearing falling out. GFCI breaker keeps tripping. That's little stuff. I'm waiting on the big issues to show up. I doubt this house will last over 10 years without a serious remodel. The most important items that are visible for fit and finish leave a lot to be desired. Painters don't properly tape around hardware. Many things aren't square and is obviously visible. Warranty calls are in a backlog for obvious reasons.

Not a custom home. Average quality at best! Construction manager missed many quality issues. Poor response to questions during process. Many items not completed prior to closing. Sales and interior designer best part of process. Sub contractors work poorly monitored.

The buying experience was easy and straight forward. The overall finish quality of the home was below standard, as there were many problems that seem to be attributed to workers that don't care about the quality of their work. Helpful sales person. Very good construction supervisor and very responsive. Poor quality construction. Final inspection by independent showed over 25 deficiencies, including such things as walls not being straight, windows crooked and not closing and blinds not fitting, busted concrete on patio. Price of design items more than doubled after contract was signed making the final pricing substantially more than expected.

We purchased an older model home "as is." The home is lovely, but the inspection was not in depth, the contracted repairs were not performed and we've invested thousands in repairs to bring it up to code.

We are very happy with our new house and the community. Our concerns lie in purchasing a past model home and finding many costly items in I'll repair. The sprinkler, electrical and AC system all required significant repairs. One was in the contract, yet denied. Worst of all was being given keys and garage door openers that had not been recoded. The outside door pad opened up with no code whatsoever. That was only discovered by the men who came to change them for us.

The process started out great, but once we signed it all went down hill from there. The sales person would not return my calls, emails, text messages for minimum 1-2 weeks when I contacted her with questions. I did not get any updates on the status of my house which ended up being delayed several times so we actually closed 2 months after the original date. We had 3 field superintendents as they all kept leaving. It overall was a very unpleasant and frustrating experience. Pulte needs to really really really improve their customer service.

Based on my experience and talking with other home owners it seems that things would be better if everyone slowed down a bit and did things right the first time. It shouldn’t take multiple redo’s to finally get things right.

Sales staff at Pulte/Del Webb, Georgetown are not honest. They will say anything to get you hooked and then bully you when you ask questions. I would never recommend using one of those sales people. Shame on all of them.

Disappointed With Pulte Home Quality

We moved for the lifestyle but disappointed in quality of the construction. In a $500,000+ home, one would expect a certain amount of quality. Upgraded brushed nickel hardware does not include towel rods or toilet paper holders. If you upgrade the kitchen vent to include a wooden shroud, you lose the upgraded vent and are given a cheap noisy vent with two 30 watt bulbs (no LED lights or quiet vent fan). By the way, the design center did not advise us about this switcharoo. Thank goodness we had a great field manager for the construction but the tradesmen (framers, sheet rock, plumbers, ...

There is little or no attention to detail. Quality control is most definitely lacking. My saleslady was the highlight of my whole experience. In a couple of instances, I was lied to which affected my trust. My end result is good...but could be so much better. One buys for lifestyle in Sun City and no home quality!

My new Pulte Home in a Del Webb community

We paid 895K for this home. One wall is crooked, the oven hood leaks grease between the hood and the backsplash, and it has caused staining on the grout. Now my special needs son's bathroom is backing up from the walk-in shower all the way to his room door. I'm so disappointed I have no words to express it in a respectful way. If I'm asked, I will tell all we've been through unless it can be made right. a brand-new home with grease leaking out of the stove hood and a shower backing up into the bedroom. What a mess and disappointment.
