Tim in sales and David from Austin Reality introduced me to the community values that made the decision to move 1500 miles comfortable. Their support during the build process was above and beyond. Connie in design, provided material recommendations that look spectacular in my new home. Lori turned the final weeks of construction turn from stress to a celebration. Mary in warranty was awesome walking me through the process with kindness every step of the way. My neighbors are like extended family.

The Pulte/Del Webb team does an adequate job in building quality homes but seems to leave details to clean up later due to the rush to get you to the closing table. Communication between home builder and buyer also leaves a lot to be desired as phone calls and emails are often ignored or given a delayed response. With that said, we are not unhappy in our new home and the community is great.

Pulte was very responsive to the quality related issues encountered. We saw shortcuts that led to some of the quality issues.

Love Sun City! Communication and workmanship on house needs improvement.

Sun City is beautiful and I do believe there will eventually be many activities. We are currently playing golf, going for walks on nice broad sidewalks and in beautiful wooded areas, and attending Spanish classes and some other groups of interest on Zoom. The neighbors are wonderful people and very friendly. I was frustrated in how little time we were involved in planning the house and how poor some of the communication was. Lots of room for improvement for Pulte: 1. Be forthright at beginning how real estate fees are managed. If client does not use a real estate agent, this fee should go to benefit of buyer. 2. Have drawings to show what is “standard”, so that you know what your base is when Selecting options. Pulte refused to give us base model electrical drawings for house despite our repeated requests. 3. Hire workers with minimum level of craftsmanship and improve quality control procedures. Rain bird water sensor.

Every house I see in Sun City has a rain sensor with a bracket on their gutter. When I looked for mine it is sitting in my gutter. So I am thinking why would someone just put my rain sensor in my gutter instead of using a bracket like everyone else? It did not fall there someone had to do that instead of doing it right. That is my reason for the low rating.

Quality and workmanship is absolutely awful. Huge lack of pride in workmanship, interior finishes and if their clients are taken care of. The construction crews are some of the worst in the business.

I love my new house and I would expect there to be problems. Dell Webb has been responsive to all my concerns thus far. I have some unresolved problems that I’m hoping to have taken care of fairly quickly. As I cannot tell you how well they did in resolving these newer problems, I can say that I have no reason to believe they will not be handled in a timely manner. All in all, I think I have a great house and purchased it at a great price.
