Our Del Webb rep Melanie was never there for us. She didn't return phone calls or emails. We were not local so that was the only way we could communicate. We would have walked away entirely if not for our 3rd party representative from the Stacy Group. Our construction field supervisor Jack was a ghost. We heard virtually nothing from him. When Homer came on board things got better but the damage was done. When our "final" closing date was postponed at the last minute the construction head Landon promised us some help/mitigation for the additional $4000 in moving expenses We incurred. But ...

The salesperson, Travis, was dishonest with me. The house is beautiful, but the quality of workmanship and finish work are disgusting. I been in my house for two months and still am looking at much blue tape. Quality of drywall work and the condition of woodwork and doors are very sub par. Patrick, my representative, I believe , is trying to get things fixed but there is a long way to go.

Beware. Tape all of your conversations with all people associated with your transaction from first meeting to Close of Escrow. Most of the people are not trustworthy. Workmanship is poor. No attention to detail. Document everything.

Our sales person was inept and after we signed lost interest in us and the house! The construction foreman had only one interest and it was for us to sign off on extremely poor construction.

Many people buy here for the Sun City name and life style. Del Webb is stamping out homes and only concerned in profit. The finish work is extremely poor. Ironically, the options we paid for were among the worst! The construction supervisor is in a bad spot as they can't hire or fire workers that don't have a clue to what they are doing. I can't even begin to state all of the problems. We quickly refused to let ANYONE of them inside our home to "fix' or 'go over' anything. Our sales person was misleading and uninformed. POOR quality paint, finish & trim work. Poor oversight of their contractors!

Poor trim materials, lousy paint, lousy finish work (use caulk to try & cover up poor craftmanship). Every time they fixed 2 things, they damaged/broke one other thing. They had to install our wood floors 3 times. I (buyer) was the one to find the errors and installation issues with the floors. Pulte would have sold it to me in poor condition if I had not found all the issues. They do not inspect their contractors' work, and hope that caulk, poor lighting, and quick walk-throughs will get them to the closing process. Lots of room for improvement for Pulte: 1. Be forthright at beginning how real estate fees are managed. If client does not use a real estate agent, this fee should go to benefit of buyer. 2. Have drawings to show what is “standard”, so that you know what your base is when Selecting options. Pulte refused to give us base model electrical drawings for house despite our repeated requests. 3. Hire workers with minimum level of craftsmanship and improve quality control procedures. Far below standards of the three homes we've built over the past forty years

Very poor finish work, gouged concrete drive, drive and walkway has never cleaned, holes in walls patched and spackle not matched, backing not installed to mount towel racks, toilet paper rolls and shower grab bars. Low quality cabinets, dents in cabinet doors bath room door. Sod poorly insralled, standing water in back yard. Floor tiles not cleaned etc. Need I continue?

The whole process of building a house with Pulte at Sun City was very frustrating! Nobody was responsible for anything and we were constantly ignored: no pre-drywall walk through either even if they clearly states it as one of two they do and we sent them MANY emails and texts! The only person who tried to make things better was Jon, our last field supervisor. But he came after the house was completed. A few days after we closed on the house, there was water leak from the ceiling, but the supervisor for plumbing said ‘it happens’!

I hope the house was framed better than it was finished. Absolute worst finish job I have ever seen. From nails in the front of cabinets (where they could be seen) to scared up doors and door frames that they tried to cover with caulking to iron door hinges that were painted white ( not supposed to be painted). The paint job on the walls was so thin you can see through it. At one time there were 3 building supervisors marking up the house with blue tape for the carpenters and painters to come back and redo there work. The next day all the blue tape pieces were gone but the work was not ...

Quality, workmanship and materials are poor. Issues are many and are not quickly resolved. When issues are worked quality of workmanship is also poor.
