We signed the contract for our Pulte home, then did not see the home “in person” until we closed over 5 months later. We put our trust in our construction manager and our realtor. We were so happy when we walked in to our finished home. Working from 1900 miles away could have been a nightmare but we got our dream home.

Our Del Webb Sales Consultant, Janet, was extremely helpful and very professional. In our opinion, Janet is a terrific person and a great asset for Del Webb! Our Design Consultant, Rachel, was awesome and so talented! Communication with our Construction Manager was only fair in our view. A New Home Easy Peasy

We decided we wanted a new, bigger home in Sun City. Our realtor introduced us to a Del Webb sales associate who was delightful to work with. She showed us an available home that would be completed in a month and it was everything we wanted in a new home. We bought the house and it was completed on time. The home building manager was very responsive and very detail oriented so our new place is just beautiful. Overall everyone at Sun City Texas has been a pleasure to work with and we appreciate the high quality materials in the house.

We told them that we had mobility issues. We were told that the lot we picked out would be level. We were deceived! They made a driveway we can not walk down and with 2 steps to get into the house. The Quality of workmanship is bad. Finally when the house was finished and we did our walk through, we found an abundance of problems! Could Serve Seniors a Bit Better

Could improve on architectural features for seniors. Also, every quick move in home (which I needed) had design flaws. (Such as black hinges on doors and bronze knobs, etc etc). Staff has been helpful, but not all issues settled as yet.

Buying our new home was easy, so far we like our new home and love the extended garage, we have 2 cars and golf cart. Only down side of purchase new home we have a 2 ton a/c unit it does not keep up if the wife turns the oven on in the day time to bake. Only complaints here. Far as the rest of the house we love it.

Felt like bait and switch on the financing end. Stuck with Pulte on everything for one-stop shopping convenience. Very misleading info on interest rate and incentives. Lead to believe both incentives and lower than market rate were in effect. However, did not find out until first closing estimate was dropped on me that the interest rate would be 7% in order to get incentives. Told I could exchange incentives in order to buy down rate. Overall the process went pretty smoothly. My new home is well contrusted and passed an impartial review. I was pleased with the effectiveness of the sales staff, loan offersers, construction crew, settlement services etc. However, I had two issues. The first, regarding the time to select many items for the house took too long and was combersome for a single individual in the time provided. Pulte builds a minimal home that in my opinion is hastily and sloppily built. After purchasing the home and employing workmen to do renovations/upgrades, it is apparent Pulte's workmanship is sub-par--floors & walls uneven, trash stashed behind the walls, quality of cabinets are cheap, offerings to personalize are limited (why we can only have one choice in flooring that encompasses all the extra bathrooms and laundry room and why we cannot have better quality tubs and tiled shower floors in the extra bathrooms or the option to pay for soft close on all the cabinets is ridiculous!). The construction manager did no quality control/management on the home because from the start we had to call warranty service to get items repaired and had our walls ripped apart due to electrical shortage problems. Stripped out parts were put in and the list goes on. The front tree is dead but isn't covered because it's a landscaping issue and that's not part of warranty. We didn't even have a choice of the tree we wanted in the front yard even though we were able to choose all the options of the home from the ground up. Our experience with Pulte was poor from the start. Our original sales person relocated after 4 weeks and the alternate was unavailable for 3 months while recovering from surgery. When we finally met, everything the previous sales person had done was lost. The result was starting from scratch and discovering that the previous contract did not include several structural items (elevation, sunroom, etc) had not been included. Buying a home from DellWeb was fairly simple, but the service provided by some is not great. We are provided several options to contact warranty..no one answers the phone or just goes into a waiting period. Leave a message, no returns calls. The warranty process in my opinion doesn’t make sense I rather do text messages. But some on team insist use the website. I don’t use website..don’t give me options if only one is available. Dee was more than a sales person for us. She never hesitated when we needed help with paperwork or in answering unfamiliar questions. Everything went very well. Construction manager has not followed through on one thing. Still waiting to see if he does Chelsea are. warranty supervisor is awesome. We’ve had some issues and she has gotten them taken care of very promptly and always calls back to make sure everything was charged satisfaction.
