I feel I was duped into thinking the house/community would be within the city of Little Elm. Since I was in CA, I Googled "Little Elm TX" and what I read sounded great. Now having moved into the home I find that I am far from the community I thought I would be living in. In fact the traffic situation is horrendous if I want to get into Little Elm - one has to plan carefully to avoid bumper-to-bumper traffic. A lot of information a newcomer needs (voter registration, DMV office) is not readily available. Deliveries have to be made to "Aubrey, TX)" - not Little Elm as the sales brochure ...

Take care of my sprinklers system asking for over a month shows how much Pulte caves my next project is to complete the closet door in the master bedroom I have already taken care of three issues by myself I got totally tired of asking. Something needs to be done about the sprinkler please. Thank you for everything

We are very happy with our new Del Webb home. We love the floorplan, the lot and the neighborhood. Our home is very open and light. The lighting, appliances, countertops, flooring and fixtures are all so nice. We like the finishes and colors that we chose. The selection process for the finishes at the design center was a bit stressful, considering you have a limited amount of time (2 three hour sessions). Getting changes made to anything was not easy, and more times than not not accomplished. Things that are easy to do prior to drywall (i.e. replacing duplex outlets with quads, or adding attic stairs) would not be accommodated. Support prior to closing on getting simple issues fixed was superb. Following closing issues discovered have been difficult to get resolved. We were warned to get everything sorted out prior to closing but there are things you just don't discover until you've moved in. By that point you've fallen off the priority repair list and are now just one of the masses ...

Workmanship is my biggest disappointment. Sloppy painting and caulking. Oversized cutouts that had to be repaired (at least the one's I saw before closing). Cabinet finish work, clean-up lacking, yard is not leveled... I will say the tile work in the master bath specifically is great work. Pulte has responded to 3 out of 4 warranty requested repairs.

The process is so easy--from dealing with the sales rep, going through the design center, and dealing with the construction phase. Everyone I dealt with was helpful, courteous and patient!

We are happy with our house but attention to detail is below average. Examples are- seams in trim, baseboard caulk, grass sod is terribly unlevel (but sod at the models is perfect), irrigation system is sloppy and lies above grade at spots.
