We are very happy and satisfied with our house and our builder Randy was excellent throughout the build process. However, Significant portions of our sod was loaded with crabgrass, in fact 2.5 rows of the sod in back were all crabgrass. Additionally, the sprinklers in the back do not cover the backyard. We also noticed our landscaping was of significant lower quality than our next door neighbor who also had Pulte landscape. This appeared to be cutting corners at our expense on a house we paid close to $550k for.. so the yard, which we are working to remedy is a disappointment - the ...

Lack of pride in workmanship

There is a general lack of pride in the workmanship of these homes. They have used the cheapest materials in some cases, especially with the AC. In my opinion the AC system has been poorly installed and is sized incorrectly.

Disappointment in choices

The most disappointing about the Del Webb community is Pulte and the lack of updated choices in the design center for the Garden series homes. The choices are very limited and color choices are outdated. To get up to date choices, you must upgrade to the highest level and pay ridiculous prices and the quality is poor. Get everything in writing as promises may not be kept. And go to the design center prior to signing a contract if they let you. One issue was the bathroom. The shower door hit the door when opened so changed door to an accordion door. Superficial cracks on back patio had to be filled in.

House is solid and construction went well. Our project manager kept us informed throughout the entire process. Our CSR has gone above and beyond our expectations. Biggest disappointment was the lack of options and upgrade pricing available in the design center.

My wife and I have been very pleased with our Del Webb experience. The staff and on-site managers have been outstanding to work with. We are very pleased with the quality of workmanship in the home. Very happy with my experience in purchasing my home. Everyone was friendly and helpful from the sales agent to the very helpful design center. Any questions or needs were quickly met during the building process. Phone calls or messages were quickly returned. This house made me want to leave my beloved long time house in another state.

We wish we had hired an independent inspector to inspect the home throughout the build process. This would have caught a lot of the construction issues we are dealing with post-closing.

I am loving my new home. It is absolutely perfect for me. So far, I have found the workmanship to be excellent. The floor plan is innovative and very efficient. Since I was downsizing, I was afraid I had brought too much stuff but surprisingly I find that I have plenty of storage in this house, As much kitchen stuff as I have, there was a place for all of it. This kitchen is one of the most efficient I have every seen. I do wish they had an option for built in ovens so they are at eye level but other than that, I love the kitchen.
