My experience with the building of my home was good the staff informed me often about the building progress. Sending pictures and answering questions I am happy with my new neighborhood and home.

Everyone we have worked with has been helpful and worked we us on any issues that arose during construction. We love our new home.

Our home is well built and we love the design and extras. Issues arising during construction were handled professionally and promptly. I also felt that we could trust the construction team and received feedback during the process. It is important to stay in close communication with Construction Manager.

Good sales and build experience. Choice of options is limited and really adds to the price considerably--a bit of a surprise! Quality of some details--paint, wood trim--not up to the quality of the overall house. Overall great home!!

The construction teams have been excellent and worked hard to assure all was done well. The community is well kept. I am very glad I bought here. The only negative experience was the buying process which was difficult because I couldn't get answers to my questions and I felt that I was begging to buy a house here.

We have only been in the house under 2 months now and we are happy with our home which was a spec home. We like the lot and sitting on the patio at night enjoying the views. Other than wishing the lot was bigger and the house had more closet space we do have some minor complaints: 1) The garage floor is pitted throughout the garage which is going to require an epoxy coating to hide. 2) There are a few light switches in hard-to-reach places. 3) The trim painting must have been water down since it has very little gloss/shine to it compare to the touch-up paint that I purchased. Night and day difference between what the build painted and the paint coming out the can that I purchased. 4) The Whirlpool wall oven and microwave and installed on the same wall have different color clocks. We were told by a Dell Webb area manager that this is a Whirlpool issue and nothing they can do at this time. 5) We are concerned the AC sizing for the house and after discussion with a couple trusted AC specialist the conclusion that a 2.5ton unit paired with a 4-ton furnace/blower is undersized. We have noticed In the 100 degree heat with the typical humidly levels the unit runs non-stop during the day. Customer Care Person did not hold to his word. Never showed up when he said he would and had to be prodded with higher up management to get a response. Home is well built. But fixing minor issues after move in was a headache.

The people employed by Del Webb are great and they really try their best. Unfortunately they can only do so much to make up the below acceptable workmanship of the sub-contractors. The people are unskilled and it seems like they do not care at all about the quality of their work.

The hvac system had issues with the heat and after they fixed that the air conditioner didn’t work now it is just noisy. The drywall and painting team has been in to fix several places and then paint. The landscaper did a poor job in the back yard.

Great to work with but to get repairs under warranty has been impossible to get done promise's with no results

The construction went smoothly. The house is well built and extremely impressed at the quality of the house. However, the confidence of sales person to loan officer and others in terms of communications to the buyer (me) was quite poor.

Working with one of the Pulte Mortgage people was the biggest drag of all, Zero to One star is what keeps Overall from being a 5 star; Quality of workmanship was shotty in a few areas; Trustworthiness was close to 5, but we had to alert builder about things that were promised in written things not done; design center cost were marked up way too high on several items; vendors are way too slow responding to warranty ticket items, then they don't really do anything to correct issues on the first time. Overall, we love the neighborhood, we love our home, we have no regrets with our decision to building our home in DW Fulshear. If everyone was like Alvaro, everything would be 6 stars out of 5 stars. ... More

My experience with Alvaro, the builder, has been excellent! He is very attentive and even though he is super busy, he always takes the time to answer any of my questions and help when he can.

ALL vacant lots next to a completed home should be maintained on a weekly basis. Vacant lots grass should NOT be any higher than you accept from a home owner.

They hit the exact closing date that they predicted from day one. We got to select almost all the interior features that mattered and workmanship was very good. Only very minor issues with house when we inspected - and they fixed, or are fixing, them. Construction manager was extremely hands-on keeping everything on time and high quality. He was very responsive and communicated frequently on each detail or question we had. Only real hiccup was in the specification of the base floor plan. We at first specified 2 BR, a then changed our mind a few days later and were not allowed to alter the plan. The total house specification (interior features) was not finished, but the base plan was locked. This was a little bit disappointing, but we still love the house. Make sure that the base floor plan is exactly what you want before signing the contract. ... More
