Fast, poor finishing quality, good house structure

House was not ready for inspection. Many dings, paint, etc on floor and doors. Seems like house was rushed in building and the cosmetic details were done by unskilled workers . Construction manager always available and responsive but not always with a good solution/result to our concerns. Still working through warranty items but mainly cosmetic.

The bad: We ended up with a long punch list, including issues like painting, caulking in the showers and backsplash, a chipped tile, a Ring camera installed incorrectly, screens not tight, cabinet doors missing bumpers, and gaps in the trim around the island. I realize this might be typical in new construction, so it's important to inspect thoroughly after closing. Be sure to check lot size for an outdoor spa. No room at our property. The good: Having our Construction Manager, Zach, and Customer Care Manager, Raul, on top of the process has been a big plus in getting these problems resolved. ...

Rating was influenced by incomplete, seemingly intentional at times, communications with the Sales team. Once deal was closed, we never heard from Sales team again; not so much as a personal 'congratulations1' email. Only auto-generated 'welcome' emails. During initial attempt to purchase, was not provided with requested information until after we went through all design meetings. Only then did Sales team tell us that what they had represented to us multiple times during sales discussions was indeed incorrect (seemingly the sale rep never confirmed what was being conveyed, even though we ...

We purchased a completed, quick move-in from Divosta, with the help of our realtor. Austin, from DiVosta did a thorough and complete walk thru with us that helped us understand the warranty, our villa's ins and outs and what to expect and look for in the furture. The craftsmanship—especially in the painting and cabinetry—is subpar and lacks the ***** of detail I expected in a home at this price point. Passing issues with the appliances to the vendor isn't right for the first month specially if the install wasn't proper to start with.

Your sales agent (Amber) was a big problem. We believe she either didnt understand your promotion or diliberetly mislead us. One business day to select an elevation, and no on site review so we could see the options and due to that we picked the wong one

Your closing team works like its their way or the highway. No flexibilty, difficult communication. Made the closing process an unpleasant experience. The one good divosta rep was our construction manager Chris *****- responsive, communicated, helpful and knowledgeable. He saved the day for us.

I have known about DiVosta for over 50 years, my parents have a DiVosta home, the build quality for the Florida environment is excellent, an the building process itself was quite good, what made this entire process work for us when the house was under construction was Mark *****. On the building side the contruction management and warranty teams of ***** were excellent. 5 Stars. Extremely responsive, customer focused and solid workmanship. The pool contractor was horrible which brings the review down. Also the sales team was excellent for the first half of the project buy my lead salesperson was transferred in the middle of my project and after that responsiveness was very difficult. I would definitely recommend Pulte but be careful of all the subs including pool contractors, ***** closing and settlement and their other recommended vendors.
