His background in building puts him in a class by himself. He is more capable, knowledgeable and understanding than the other terrific people I encountered with my first Pulte/Centex home previously in South Carolina. He is extremely personable and attentive and knows the owner needs to be updated and advised regularly, which he did in my case. He makes sure everything is completed to perfection. He goes above and beyond. He puts the homeowner's first and wants to make sure they are extremely pleased with everything in their new homes.

Alex our Project Manager was on top of ongoing building discrepancies which gave us a feel of trust during our build. Andy, the gentleman who helps after the build, has been wonderful to deal with as well. He always responds to minor issues that have occurred during or soon after the build of our home. So we're grateful that we had Alex as our Project Manager and Andy as Divosta Warranty Manager. Also there is another gentleman I would like to acknowledge, his name is Ed and he also has been very helpful in making minor repairs to the home. We enjoyed the building experience working with Staci and then John on site. Watching the progress of the build was exciting and the house is solid and safe.

We've purchased 7 new homes in our lives. Many from Nat'l builders and a couple years ago from a prominent builder on the Island. Chris Printer was our construction mgr. He is very capable, accommodating and professional despite being new with Divosta. Chris went above and beyond keeping us updated on the progress of our home and met with us on numerous occasions. We've had some very bad experiences with drywall finish and texture the last two homes purchased. Chris was very sensitive to our concerns and delivered a fantastic home to my wife and I. Our experience with DiVost Homes went well. As with everyone else during these times; we experienced delays that were not expected. DiVosta has been great in keeping us up to date on expectations and were able to set a closing date and were able to ensure that we closed on said date. I would recommend anyone about to undergo building a new home to expect delays and have some patience.

The quality of the materials used and the responsiveness of the corporate staff in handling the closing deserves 5 stars. Thus far, the followup on warranty issues have been steady, but slow. We've been here 6 weeks and only 5 of the 10 items to be fixed have been fixed. There are 2 design/installation flaws: the hallway light needs 2 switches, not one; and all of the toilet paper holders should have been installed, at the very least, inline with the leading edge of the toilet itself so that you don't have to be an accomplished contortionist to twist your upper torso 90 degrees to get at the toilet paper. Meanwhile, the Whirlpool Washer and Dryer looks great from a design perspective. The top panels of both machines are shaped like the wings of a Boeing 737 Max. These machines look like they are aerodynamically ready to take off. Unfortunately, the only thing that takes off would be the laundry basket. When you put a basket on this wing-shaped airfoil, the basket will slide down the curvature and onto the ground. Thus, form and function have absolutely no practical relationship here whatsoever. Great quality home for the price. DiVosta was easy to work work. The Lakes at Waterside village is beautifully landscaped for a very serene atmosphere.

Excellent quality built. Assigned Field Manager was great, knowledgeable and had concerns fixed promptly. Options are a bit pricy and altering a purchased usually is not permitted.

Overall it has been quite a positive experience. Whatever issues we had were quickly resolved. Both our salesperson, Vincent and Construction contact, Chris kept us informed of the progress and followed up on all questions and concerns.

I would say that 90% of the house was great when we moved in. The other issues such as poorly finished drywall spots, an electrical circuit that wasn’t working, a few places of missing grout and paint issues are being addressed. The response of the warranty representative has been superb but the trades are difficult to pin down to get the corrections done. The structure is well built and we are pleased with the construction and timing. The down side of DiVosta being able to deliver a house so quickly is that the trades are here every day, even Sunday so there is always construction noise in the neighborhood. ... More

Relatively easy sale everything was done electronically.

The sale of home was flawless. Great follow through and Brendan our sales person was amazing. The build quality is far less than satisfactory and what I did not expect after 6 weeks of issues. I believe most issues are due to the lack of knowledge and follow through of our second CM. I hope DiVosta fixes these issues.

Brandon was my construction manager and he Gets A+.

The building manager was responsive. The salesperson seemed to wash their hands of me once I signed the contract.

On site Bill is super and responds. Takes a while to get on people on the phone. Overall well built home.

Almost everything went smoothly and efficiently. Only criticism is that for people who are not from the area, accessing and contacting all the agencies, utilities etc, could be outline in one document with advice. I found I had to go to a number of people for answers and it made it more confusing. Beyond that everything was excellent!

It will probably take longer to build your house than you think

There were a few minor issues (mostly cosmetic) before and since our closing a month ago but our construction rep before closing, Bill, and our post closing rep, Andreas, were, and are, very responsive and sincere about us wanting to be happy in our new home.

The project manager assigned to our home building project was very responsive and knowledgeable.

GREAT experience with all those involved. Home is well built,amazing construction,from a dirt plot to an oasis was just amazing. A big shoutout to Denise who got this adventure rolling and ALL those whom we have met or spoke too thru out. THANK YOU. Ellen & Steve
