The craftmanship in the construction of my home was very good. The negative aspect is in reference to detail and quality with the sub-contractors like the cabinets. I also did not like how they covered the garage floor to protect from damage. It turned the cement floor black!

Building the home

Building the home went very well. Field manager was great. The only thing that was not explain very well. I was made to understood that shower has a bench seat for $700 dollars. What I got was something that is useable ! My foot just about goes on it. Getting things fixed after moving has been slow but only have been in for 1 month and nothing from the walk through has not been corrected. They say they are working on it.

Well I build with this builder before and I was please. The second time ihave issued with microwave in kitchen I was not told I was getting a hotel microwave so I question it I was told we cannot do nothing.I had to go out and buy my own not good still waiting for cover for old microwave the manager inI charge did not even reach out to me .that not good customer service

Builder grade materials (even when you pay a lot of money to upgrade) and shoddy workmanship! Think twice about buying these "cookie cutter" homes!

We have identified more than a dozen material and workmanship issues for which the most critical ones are still unresolved. Its been more than 2 months since these issues have been reported and we have received an extremely slow and low quality response from divosta’s rep and contractors.

The positive is the sales team they have here but the negative is the homes are built very cheaply... doorways and switch plates are crooked and it’s very low end builder grade. We are having to repaint and replace many things to make the house better quality. Disappointed ☹️

Poor customer service in all regards. It seems that now that the real estate market is doing very well, people just don't care. Frankly, it's ridiculous. Poor response to minor issues. They tell you they will take care of it, but never do. One person tells you one thing then the next person says something different. I always thought DiVosta was a quality builder... Boy, was I hoodwinked!!!

No follow through.

Never close on your house until everything is completed in your house and that you have all your appliances. Zero follow through after you close. Still waiting on my refrigerator after 7 weeks so I called Whirlpool and the told me it will be 4 more months before I can get one that I paid extra for. Call after call to resolve issues and nobody does anything but pass the buck.

light fixture in master bathroom not working properly .... chips on top edge of stationary glass panel in shower stall ... sliding glass door not fully caulked .... drawers in kitchen cabinet not level !!!! wall for stairway not straight and the list goes on very disappointed !!!! by the way the money I paid for this home was perfect had on defects nor did it need any corrections

We have had nothing but issues and things cannot be fixed propery the first or even the second time around. For instance, They scratched the word "Clean Me" in our kitchen hood. They finally come to replace it and make a mess of my kitchen to find out they did not have the correct hood to be replaced. Our cooktop was also extremely scratched. The tile/grout work throughout the home is terrible The pavers keep sinking workers cause more damage to home before fixing it takes 2-3 trips for 1 thing to be corrected cabinets have now been ordered 3x we were told that we can fix it, but it will be ...
