Great builder that cares about consumer experience

Our sales agent was always there and responded very quickly to all issues during closing. During construction, the superintendent also addressed all concerns and kept us updated on progress and problem resolution. This surprised us for a large company, the team exceeded our expectations and provided a customized service throughout the whole purchase experience.

The quality of workmanship leaves alot to be desired. Lots of damaged to impact sliding glass doors, doors didn't lock, wrong handles on doors with daylight showing all around the handles. The employees talk a good story, but once you close it is almost impossible to get them to come back & fix items. This is my opinion.

Not only was the home delivered 7 months after the scheduled date, but the quality or workmanship is horrendous. The follow up from Divosta sun=b contractors is non existent. One day in October 5 different trades were scheduled to show up and make repairs to items listed in the pre-closing walkthrough. Not one of the five showed or called and now, two months later we are still waiting for the cabinet contractor, stucco contractor, countertop contractor and window contractor to make the necessary repairs. I have windows that don't open and no one seems to care how dangerous that can be. I have built multiple new homes and have never experienced this lack of workmanship or dependability. ... More

We recommend Divosta for your first, second, or third home build. They are very helpful and attentive. Samantha was a pleasure to deal with. Justin our construction manager has been hands-on and extremely attentive before and after we closed. Megan and Kenny from the lending team were also excellent and assisted us with every question we had prior to the close of the home.

I really wanted to purchase new construction and Windsong is the perfect size and very conveniently located.

HOA at Castle has no contact number except a call center. This makes for poor customer service. They need to communicate better with gates being open/closed and way to test before closing with homeowners, and other issues that will arise. When internet went down, it took 3 days to repair because we have nothing but a 800# for AT&T and they were unresponsive for over 24 hours.

Maybe I set my expectations a bit high. Divosta had a good name which is why I chose to buy into this community. There were many deficits during our walk through which the foreman promised to correct prior to closing. The closing itself was postponed multiple times due to supply chain issues and from an initial closing date in October of 2021, we finally closed in March 2022. We have still not moved in since there have been multiple issues that need attention. From electric, plumbing, tile, painting, stucco, cabinetry and issues with appliances. I can only say that if we had held off on closing, Divosta or PULTE would have been more motivated in finishing these pending jobs with more interest and expediency. ... More

New Home still some of the same old problems Rushed to complete home and rushed to close so tones of items not completed Punch List of 40 plus items after closing Lack of attention to detail Bad experience with closing due to last minute inspection approval. Had our closing money, signatures and withheld our keys because of a lack of communication, organization and customer care Our Sales Guy was nice and helpful Our Field Manager was nice but I would just sum it up as Broken promises Mortgage has good people but way too much information needs to be provided multiple different times seemed unorganized Home plan is pretty well laid out and is pretty good quality some things cheap some things medium to high end Issues such as: Outdoor Drainage/ certain areas not level / electrical/ tile/ paint/ doors/ dry wall/ windows/dead plants and grass/chipped concrete & pavers/ garage doors/ missing shower head Read the fine print everywhere- like upgrading the shower glass and door with no shower door ever intended to be provided or having to upgrade the upgrade to truly get what you want The Supply Chain is currently messed up which leads to delays, backorders etc. so be realistic with dates Solid Warranty Warranty Guy is very helpful within his power. It will take time and continues to take time for all the fixes needed Some trade segments have stronger workmanship than others First 30 days are very important after closing- be picky! Good Luck ... Overall good experience, quality home. Having issues after close and move in having some warranty issues resolved. I know that response time from vendors is problematic, but frustrating nonetheless

This is my second home with DiVosta and the whole buying experience was great again.

The quality of the building appears to be excellent. My experiences with the process was average.

The overall building process was very slow even understanding there were material delays. Our home went for extended periods of time where nothing was being done simply due to improper scheduling of trades. Upon inspection of our home we found shorty craftsmanship and carelessness from the subcontractors. Plumbing piping to the main drain was broken underground causing overflow downstairs 4 days after moving in, bowed doors were installed causing the closet to not open properly, towel racks fell off the walls from crappy mounting, faulty breakers had to be replaced to make the microwave work, and even the shelving in the hall closet wasn’t completed - just a mess and pieces left in the closet. This sort of carelessness would not be tolerated by smaller contractors but I guess DiVosta doesn’t care about quality from subs when churning out dozens of homes at once. And unfortunately thanks to all the delays we had no choice but to continue with closing. We were already delayed by two months and couldn’t continue renting in the area we were in. ... More

Craftsmanship not as is would have expected

This was our first new home purchase in Florida and our first interaction with DiVosta. From the purchase, through the build and the final inspection, we were thrilled with the quality of service we received. We did have issues with their associated title company - PGP Title but, all was resolved in the end.

Love this floor plan and all the space.

Alex our realtor and jesus our project manager were amazing throughout. Very helpful answering our questions and sending pictures. Jesus still is very responsive and we closed 10/25.

It has been a pleasure to work with all the many people involved in building a quality home!!!

Every time I had an item that needed to be corrected, Tim was responsive and the issue was resolved.

Every step of the way starting with the sales agent Alex to Brian the finance guy, Linda the lab officer, Jesus and Tony everyone was amazing on communication, follow up and actually getting things done. The house built well and you get what you expect.
