It was quite a painful experience. Unresponsive upper management who directed their efforts to build their spec homes and neglected the already contracted homes. Delays after delays, blaming it on Covid then on workforce then on materials. Meantime they built numerous spec homes that started a year after I bought mine. The house was not completely finished but I had to close because of rate lock issues. I was hoping to get the same quality I saw on the model home. It is difficult to see every detail on a short period of time. Once I moved I realized that all openings are cut in diagonal. Even the main door has a triangle on the wall. Sliding doors are not aligned, pocket door in the bathroom detached in the middle of the night within 17 days after moved. The quality control on the construction is terrible. I have never seen a construction like this. Appliances had to be leveled. The appliances cannot be any cheaper. For what we pay to buy one of these houses we should get much more.

Overall, the design of the home is great. There were minor issues upon moving in that could be expected with a new home, however, customer service is horrible. Difficult people to deal with after purchasing - rude and seems to be condescending to women.

Walk thru was conducted prior to settlement. The items were never followed thru for its completion. We closed almost two months back. Issues are still outstanding. Similar issues with management company who never gave us the second car gate access decal and the one they gave never worked.

They have you close on a house that has many imperfections and promise it will be taken care of right away- well a months later, nobody comes back totaled care of any of it. Frustrating!

More than helpful to purchase a home but come time to close there were many things not explained to me in the process so that when it was time to close I was left very disappointed that things were not the same as the model home I was shown. Been living in my home for almost 2 months now. Received a call that our gas range was being delivered, no one told us that the one we already had was not the correct one. Gas range was delivered and couldnt be connected so now it is sitting in my living room. Also, my FPL account is sitting in limbo because there was no inspection in the beginning which is required for service to be activated. We were told lies from the beginning and now things are still a mess. Horrible experience!

The quality of workmanship leaves alot to be desired. Lots of damaged to impact sliding glass doors, doors didn't lock, wrong handles on doors with daylight showing all around the handles. The employees talk a good story, but once you close it is almost impossible to get them to come back & fix items. This is my opinion.

With Pulte/DiVosta you definitely do not get what you pay for. House is hot with AC at 71. Seams of drywall visible, but told the are “within tolerance”. The sub-par-contractors are not held to any quality standards. Just rush to get the job done to get you to move into your home. Even with a “warranty” everything is “within tolerance“.

If you’re entertaining buying an expensive home from Pulte in a $2 Million + neighborhood - save yourself the aggregation and do not! They are out of their league at a higher end price point. My 10-12 month build turned out taking 15 months with zero changes during the build.

The overall experience has been extremely horrible. This is also the same for many neighbors we have spoken to in our community. The houses are being closed without being finished and the construction managers are not really inspecting any of the work done on the home. Not only was the home delivered 7 months after the scheduled date, but the quality or workmanship is horrendous. The follow up from Divosta sun=b contractors is non existent. One day in October 5 different trades were scheduled to show up and make repairs to items listed in the pre-closing walkthrough.
