This is the fourth house we've built with DiVosta, and have always found them to produce a good product. Our home is comfortable and well-built. We have the whole house done in tile on the diagonal and the tile work is beautiful. Great job by the tile person! The best part of living in the community is the wonderful people - very friendly and cordial.

Well informed during the building process and questions were answered in a timely manner.

Overall very pleased, some issues with pool that we are still dealing with almost 30 days after closing but I’m working directly with pool company and if not resolved I will go to Pulte. Pulte has been great to work with and being in the construction business I am impressed with how they are handling everything given the current challenges with COVID related delays and obstacles.

Our DiVosta sales rep worked well with us and our realtor in maximizing savings on the purchase of our new home.

The construction of the home was completed as scheduled. There were, and still are some issues to be addressed. All items ordered were completed with the exception of epoxy coating on the garage floor. That oversite was rectified in time for our move in. The remaining open items are to be addressed by the warranty crew.

This is our first new home and everyone has been responsive to any problems we encountered.

My sales person and construction manager were outstanding and easy to communicate with. The closing went very smoothly, and so far the warranty people have been responsive to the few issues I have had. I do believe that there should be a credit given for appliances if you wish to have your own favorite brands installed. And a couple personal peeves of mine is that the "texturing" of the walls is terrible. Also there is no choice except for flat paint for finishing walls. We built a home in Florida while living in another state. We received pictures on the build as major changes occurred. This was exciting to us. There were no major items wrong with the house when it was finished. Several small issues but all are being worked.

Being new to buying a newly built home, entering the shopping experience was intimidating, especially when coming from 1000 miles away. During varying experiences in viewing area developments SW Florida we encountered a down-to-earth salesman at one of the last developments we searched, following a long detailed online search. The salesman at BeachWalk at Manasota Beach greeted us genuinely, giving us plenty of time to delve into the many questions we had. Beau gave us a fully immersive view of the area using an online view- which he did better than anyone I had seen. This gave us precise answers as we sat in his office. He then took us out to view the construction area in a golf cart, pointing out the various areas we had viewed from a computer screen. And finally he convinced us we indeed could afford this endeavor and confirming our hopes. The buying process was fairly easy, especially using online documentation 1000 miles away. I found the BeachWalk development well thought-out, benefiting from DiVosta's vast experience in creating such developments. The home options were extensive and the designing process complete. I expected far more confusion and questions during the whole process of buying a new home 1000 miles away. We moved to the area as the home was just being started, enabling us to view the building process up close and personal. Being this was just after a hurricane had impacted the area, the building trades and supply lines were detrimentally impacted. Nonetheless, work continued and we were able to view the effectiveness of the design features of our new home in combating the threat of hurricanes and other natural disasters. This made me feel comfortable in moving here and the subsequent value of updated building codes, especially in cost of insurance. The home construction was well planned and mostly on time considering the obstacles- again a benefit of a large corporation in acquiring staff and material very much in demand. Our construction manager Justin was very responsive as the building progressed. I have been pleased with the end result and response to any finishing details encountered along the way. My new home at Talon Preserve is wonderful. The experience with the staff has been great! The reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is because we didn't close on time (only by a week) and after we moved in we noticed a few things weren't attended to....some paint drips, caulk on the tile, etc.. Overall, I would buy from DiVOSTA again.

Overall, pleased with the result. Some of the subcontractors were sub-pay and slapdash in their haste.

Good quality but everything is an additional option. They seem to have decided on what is best for them and just act on that. Plus options not well explained. Difficult to understand what the cost of options are. Not a good final inspection either as they missed standard promises - like outlet in the entertainment center not there & doorbell didn’t work. Minor comfort issues like minimal natural ventilation & needed door handles on large slider doors , plus no easy clean out for dryer vents a bad design. Tight quarters design, eg, garage doors could be just a foot wider for 2 cars & distance between homes just another foot would be better. Again, their philosophy is good enough, but not exceptional. For what you pay, I believe the standard options should be nicer. The follow up on installation check list was pretty responsive. ... More

I’ve had many homes, all NEW builds. This by far is the best. Great community, incredible lot, excellent floor plan and wonderful neighbors. Can’t ask for anything else. Very happy with our choice.

There was a problem with oven that required 3 calls and 2 visits to resolve. The FM had been aware of problem BEFORE Celebration, but did not address it.

We are pleased to have recently moved into our new DiVosta home. Thanks for all the hard work and effort. We are pleased with the outcome and are looking forward to many years of enjoyment!

IslandWalk is a great place to live The home designs are varied. The inside design is poor as cabinets are very small, closets are small, causes limited storage that you have to spend additional money on once you move in. No pocket doors make for poor design as one door opens to block a door behind it? Very odd and poorly designed. In a positive note construction was right on time! The supervisor in charge of my home building was Carson, I must say he was easy to work with, very responsive to phone calls from me and really explained everything before, during and even after I moved in I would call him, he always responded quickly and always concerned, he deserves a raise!! ... Be careful with upgrades, especially built-in kitchens. You're upgrading for appearance and think you're getting top quality but you're really not given a choice of appliances. Kitchenaid now has a recall on their cooktops and only one option exists that will fit. For us it's not an acceptable option and although money is offered to compensate there isn't anything that fits short of reconstructing the countertop and space below. Not enough time or money to cover that. We love IslandWalk and overall love our new home but the standard appliance packages may be the way to go. You'll have better choices to work with if something goes wrong. The management team is great. ... More

Overall experience was pretty good. We purchased a pre-construction home, but they still allowed us to make a couple of minor changes. The only disappointment is that we missed a couple of things during the walk-through and were later told that those items were not under warranty. If you buy from them, make sure you review every nook and cranny of your home during the walk-through.

Overall we were satisfied with the quality. Main disappointment is that floor and backsplash tiles and especially white grout throughout the house was not sealed by the builder. Having found out at walk through right before closing, I sealed what I could right before furnishings were moved in that day. After 1 month, already some stains that I am unable to remove with the builder's suggested cleaning materials and methods.
