We were fortunate to have a great site supervisor, Joe, who kept a watchful eye over every little detail of the build as we were in Michigan during the whole process. When we arrived for the walk thru we were blown away by the details that had all been taken care of. I feel the only negative of the whole experience was the short window we had to decide on all the details of our home and the few choices we were given. To plan your whole home in two hours was not an experience I felt that warranted the amount of money we were spending.

The home construction and quality was very good but landscape quality was anything but acceptable. Contacted Customer Service and they pushed of on the contract installation company. I contacted the installation company and after 4 weeks no corrective action. Following initial installation, irrigation system was not enabled and shrubs and lawn had no water for 2-3 weeks during daily 90 degree dry conditions. I was told the irrigation control unit was not activated following sod and shrub install. Sad.

The new home process went smoothly from selections to financing through build and into closing. We're very satisfied with the quality of our new home.

Main problem is cardboard on corner of master bathroom is still there and during walk through she said it would taken care of. Several problems on construction has been detected but was told to wait until the 11th month to report them. Also 7 or 8 bushes are dead in our landscaping

Our experience with the build was overall very positive. Colleen was amazing and this is the 2nd home we have built with her overseeing our buil.d

We have truly enjoyed our new home from DiVosta homes, it has been a worry free experience that has surpassed our expectations. We have been out of state when our house was build and we were kept appraised in every phase of the building process . They have sent us pictures of progress and the communications has been excellent.

Made a decision on the spot on my 1st visit & I am happy that I did it. Built the house & finished it in less than four months. The house is beautiful & I am enjoying the house.

While we haven’t actually moved in yet, we fell in love with the Cascadia Duplex when we saw the model. Everything moved quickly once we decided to purchase and we were quite satisfied with the communication from DiVosta throughout. We had the opportunity to see our house via Facetme during construction and our Field Manager sent us photos. When we actually saw the house for the first time last week we were delighted with every aspect. There was just one small problem (rust spots on the tub), but as soon as we reported it we had a response the next day and a follow up phone call to schedule repairs. Buying and build process was mostly seamless until there were issues. Our project manager rarely got back to us and when we were finally able to do a walk through, the things he promised to have done by closing, were never address. The warranty person we deal with promises to return email the next day and we don’t hear from him for days until we reach back out. Our house also has no insulation in the attic above over half of the house. We expected issues but the follow through has been terrible as best. I’m sure things will get done but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Builder was great. Pulte Mortgage was the worse organization I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Get a new company

Have a list off about 20+ items to fix. Finally after living here 3 weeks, multiple contractors Stopped by to fix some items on my list. 5 done, 15 or more to go. Frustrating since Nobody contacted me to review the list of items before common out. So a few left and told me to submit a new ticket. So now I have to start again and probably Wait a few more weeks.. a 3 x 2 inch hole in the wall next to my tankless water heater Is a major concern , with all the rain, water is getting into the open hole in the exterior wall, Who knows when it will be fixed. Light fixtures hanging off the wall, terrible drywall finish that looks Like a child did or, looks and feel cheap. The quality is not what I expected. ... More

Nicely built home in a great location. Our field manager has been very helpful. However, from the business end, DiVosta was very unpleasant to deal with. They refused to give us even one additional day to close on our home without charging extra, even though my wife had to work & we live far away. Our real estate broker who has been doing business in the area for 30 years, said that she had never encountered a firm less willing to accommodate their clients in all her experience & that she will never do business with them ever again.

Be careful with upgrades, especially built-in kitchens. You're upgrading for appearance and think you're getting top quality but you're really not given a choice of appliances. Kitchenaid now has a recall on their cooktops and only one option exists that will fit. For us it's not an acceptable option and although money is offered to compensate there isn't anything that fits short of reconstructing the countertop and space below. Not enough time or money to cover that. We love IslandWalk and overall love our new home but the standard appliance packages may be the way to go. You'll have better choices to work with if something goes wrong. The management team is great. ... More

The entire DiVosta process was beyond my expectations. I have had several homes built and this experience has been stellar. Even after closing there is excellent service and follow through.

For the price we pay i would expect better materials, like not using wood window sills, better quality cabinetry, etc....

We love our Divosta home. Our lot is great. The construction aspect was great and our Project Manager was excellent. However, some of the items used to finish the inside we are not happy with. The tile work is awesome. Basic cabinets OK. Basic granite awful. Granite pitted and not smooth and when we questioned granite manufacturer they informed us that the granite came that way. Had I known that, I would have upgraded. The design center showed us a sample and the quality is not the same. Not a big lover of flat paint. Only other issue is mirrors. Both my mirrors have issues with the silver backing. Mirrors in horrible shape. Not sure what they're going to do about that. Pulte builds a solid home but they skimp on the finishing touches. ... Great company everything went exactly as they stated.

Home was ready on time. Field manager was knowledgeable and proactive. Whole process was easy and stress free.

Overall the experience with DiVosta was a good one. The house looks great and we are very happy with it. There was a relatively significant issue with the lanai that was due to a complete lack of communication by DiVosta. It was resolved but DiVosta would not take responsibility for their actions at first. Eventually we settled on splitting the cost of the remediation. Otherwise, a very good experience.
