We live in the Talon Preserve community and our new home is beautiful! We bought it already built and the colors, tile, countertops are everything I would have chosen had we built from the beginning. We have a beautiful lake behind us. Our amenities are beyond our expectations. Our home has gone through both Tropical Storm Debby and Hurrican Helene and we sustained no damage or water leaks. I would highly recommend DiVosta!

The team was extremely knowledgeable and provide all the support to make a buying decision. The portal helped track the build and mortgage process to make it easy to satisfy request and understand the status of the build. The design team was extremely detailed in creating a plan for my home and options to enhance the final product. The build team delivered a quality home earlier than the targeted delivery date. Excellent experience.

Jessica Cusack, in the Sales Office, went above and beyond in ensuring that every aspect of purchasing our newly constructed home was handled seamlessly. From the initial inquiry to the final closing, she provided thorough guidance (even on her days off), making the entire process stress-free. Our experience with Divosta was excellent, especially with our construction manager Vincent. We are extremely satisfied with purchase and feel we got good value for the price we paid. Our only complaint is the warranty department. Our customer care representative is terrible at responding to emails. When I send an email I wait one week for a response, if I don't get a response I resend the same email, sometimes more than once before I get a response. We have a pool and we are experiencing the same with the pool punch list, it has been over six weeks and the no items have been addressed on our original punch list. This is extremely frustrating, I feel now that we have closed we have been hung out to dry on our warranty items. This is the second home we have purchased from Divosta, our first purchase was in Naples and we got great customer service from the warranty department. Lots of problems that should have been resolved before closing

Roof had leaks before moved in. Was told they were fixed but after moving in discovered they were not. Warranty crew seems more attentive than construction team. Like the house and community.

Major problem: there is water seeping into our home. The grout is wet. The baseboards are getting wet. No response from the warranty people. Once the woodwork gets wet we will eventually have mold, mildew, termites and structural damage. The place is a very pretty development but our home is defective and may soon be uninhabitable. Would any of the principals of DiVosta Homes be willing to live in our home? Would they appreciate it if this review was posted anywhere & everywhere that home sales are listed? They were in a huge rush to construct the home and have a closing. The company should have built a quality home instead. The one good thing I have to say was that the construction manager was very nice and helpful but at the end of the process it appeared that he was being rushed as well. Pretty on the outside isn't sufficient when the home is poorly built. We have been in this home for two months. What a disgrace ... More

Our CM, Pat was very responsive and Proactive. A great CM eliminates worry and uncertainty during the build process.

My first days in the house were not good at all. The washing machine flooded the bathroom and hallway 3 times (once on its own when I tried to use it and 2 other times as the plumber was trying to troubleshoot the issue. Additionally, my dishwasher did not work the first time I tried to run it. Had to schedule a repair call and tech came with wrong part so I am working on rebooking the technician.

Patrick C was extremely helpful building the house. He answered all my questions quickly and efficiently. Explaining everything at pre-closing.

Purchasing process was easy and pleasant, providing good value for the money. However quality suffered from rushed or inexperienced subcontractors. DiVosta's own quality control caught and corrected most issues before closing. Other concerns have been addressed quickly through the warranty process.

Be aware of what you're buying. Serious issues have been identified with the home and apparently they don't seem to care---

The sales experience with Dominic was great he was responsive, helpful and professional. Our construction manager Anthony was equally professional and responsive and strong communication. We wish that there were more options available to customize our home but overall we are pleased with the outcome. We will see how warranty issues get resolved with the help of Tye.

Should have delayed closing but went foward eventhough many items were not completed. Post closing, problems with repairs. Either progress was very slow, other things were damaged when repairs were made or quality of materials was inadequate and not checked for quality. Many issues related to the doors and trim work. Paint work also very inconsistent. We expected better quality for the price paid. This is not our first home built.

DiVosta, team and completing the home construction is excellent! We are very happy with our new home in Florida! Thanks for taking care of us!

- Initial house Sales personnel were excellent - The Sales person for the changes/upgrades/options/etc pushed us through and did a poor job at describing all the options - Attention to detail in the building is lacking and there’s some areas of shabby workmanship - Items to be finished before Closing were pushed off to the Warranty Team - The Warranty Team is excellent and stays on all the repair work until it is completed properly. Note, this is a long process but their tenacity is highly appreciated.

The sales person and the CM were outstanding and supportive.

The buying experience was excellent. Our salesperson Gladys was knowledgeable, informative and followed up quickly on all questions. She was a pleasure to work with. The construction group on the other hand rushed to close on the property with many items not finished or improperly completed. I have interior doors that do not close, the front door jam was destroyed and has to be replaced. I’m missing sod after closing over a month ago. The walls are bowed so badly, trim can’t hide the issue. I’m spending $24k to replace all of the interior doors since almost each one has been dropped, damaged or improperly painted. I would not recommend this builder or would I purchase again from this company. The construction manager assigned to my build spent a bunch of time telling me how important that I score 10’s on the survey I received from the builder but failed to complete the house. The workers throw food all over the place and discard trash in the house and yard even thou dumpsters are everywhere. The builder needs to raise their standards and police the poor quality (especially the dry wall and trim work) the workers are producing. Once I fix everything that the builder didn’t complete correctly, I’m selling the house. Very disappointed over all! ... More

I don’t even know where to start. I closed In May 14 2024. And I still can’t move in because Items on the punchlist or not yet repaired including the floors. I don’t even know why I opted to upgrade the flooring because the low quality flooring that was installed in my home is of such poor quality !!! And the mess the installers left, I can’t get it clean. It just looks like old shoddy floors which does Not make the home look like a new home . And then I also upgraded to get a bigger Extended patio with a close screen in porch That Is also another overpriced joke there’s more bugs inside my screen than if I stood outside, so obviously the screen wasn’t put up properly That all the bugs are able to get it. I can understand a a few bugs here and there, but not the amount that I get inside the area. The screen is supposed to keep the bugs out. It just seems that upgrading is not the thing to do because the materials that they use for upgrading is of poor quality!! I’m very disappointed adding to another issue is my white baseboards are bright white and then all my doors did not get painted so the doors look dingy against the baseboards. Then the contractors and cleaning ladies are very careless by pouring their dirty water into my white tile master shower and sinks , causing slow drainage and backup , Also with them pouring the dirty water I can’t get the stains off the white tile shower , So my shower looks like a dirty stain old Shower!!Overall, the tile installer were very sloppy in doing their job !!! And it doesn’t help that the quality of the tile is a low quality And then the careless way that they install things and do things it doesn’t give you a feel of excitement coming into what should be a nice clean new home!! Chris G and William D have tried to help and William keeps calling workers but they don’t show up and when they do show up they do a lousy job !!I So here it is August and I am still waiting. Can’t move my furniture in because I don’t want my furniture in and then I have to move it when they have to clean the floors properly it’s a mess and I’m very disappointed!! My family and I are still not moved in Due to waiting for things to get done properly if I had known that, it wasn’t going to be taken care of in a reasonable manner , I would’ve never signed closing documents until it was completed !! Very disappointed.!! P.S. Jennifer in Sales is Great she is very nice and professional! So home buying experience was Great!! Everything else is lacking even though Chris G and William D are also professional and nice but I am needing for them to step up and resolve all the issues that were found and noted to be completed, so that I can enjoy my new home!! All were easy to work with

We recently closed on a house in Beachwalk and all went smoothly. We didn't have any major issues and the few small items were noted and have been taken care of or are in process. Justin was our project manager and we were very happy with him. Communication has been very timely with anyone we needed to contact. As of now, we are very happy with the home.
