We were very excited during the building phase. There were some issues during the build but our sales agent stayed on top of them. We do believe it is a structurally sound home. But when we moved in and took a closer look, the workmanship regarding the finishing details was questionable. Our punch list has many items to be addressed. To name a few, the tile floors have cement, grout and paint dripped In several places, some of the doors would not close and lock properly, the painting and edge cutting was mediocre, one of the shower doors is not sealed so water leaks on the floor, some of ...

Good Builders; Nasty Business People

Nicely built home in a great location. Our field manager has been very helpful. However, from the business end, DiVosta was very unpleasant to deal with. They refused to give us even one additional day to close on our home without charging extra, even though my wife had to work & we live far away. Our real estate broker who has been doing business in the area for 30 years, said that she had never encountered a firm less willing to accommodate their clients in all her experience & that she will never do business with them ever again.

Great community,. but it seems the houses are going up so quickly, there are a number of quality control issues. We have had people in and out of our house every day since we moved in to fix stuff. That being said, they are very responsive and get things fixed quickly.

Roof had leaks before moved in. Was told they were fixed but after moving in discovered they were not. Warranty crew seems more attentive than construction team. Like the house and community.

We purchased a home already planned and were unable to make changes. It was a crazy time in the market. Despite many requests from our salesperson we were never given the design center specifics. We were not kept up to date on the building process. Our construction manager changed mid-point and we were not made aware of that either. We are hopeful once we start our 30 day period issues will be addressed in a timely fashion. I would say most of our issues are minor, but time will tell. Our side yard is a swamp and the issue has not been resolved, the landscaping company has signed off that ...

This purchase was a little difficult along the process but ultimately worth it. I do believe there were too many hands involved in the process, from builder to finance to closing, all part of the Pulte organization. The home itself is beautiful. It is not the high quality Devosta home I own in Naples Fl. It needs the fine tuning that I’m doing now with outside contractors. It will be primo when I’m done, but Devosta gave us a quality produce to work with. Thankyou for that.

Our construction manager Patrick and our salesperson Jessica were great to work with. Also, Gene with the customer care warranty department was awesome. That being said, there are many things that we feel could be improved on. The hand applied texture on the walls looks sloppy. The bathroom door in the water closet is too big for the size of the room. We are still waiting for Whirlpool to replace our refrigerator door as 4 people have already looked at it and now they have to order a door. It won't be in until early August. This issue was pointed out in early May. There are still seams ...

We love our house, but many details are wrong and the speed to address issues is slow.

There is an evident lack of control and supervision in the building of our house. Many details that should be right are not and the response to addressing the details takes too long. There should be more supervision and inspection, as well as a better post-closing service to ensure quality and generate a better buyer experience while keeping trust in Pulte and Divosta.

No problems with builder Really cheap low grade finishes in the home

Im dissatisfied with the finishes. From the They look cheap. From the cheap, plasticy floor that is warped in some areas which creates a weird, dipping effect in some places where you walk. I get the strong impression that the items chosen for the home , all in white mind you, were done so due to their low, bulk price point and not one of first rate quality. Clearly no thought was given to actaul use of home and that bright white paint, cabinets etc are merely a vessel for dirt, smudges, stains etc., I hate the cheap carpets in the rooms. especially when i get to step on carpet ...

I purchased a home from Divosta in Jul 2021 and closed in June 2022. During the process I had to initiate calls to get updates and have questions answered from the salesman and the project manager. Often I got responses after days (if any) saying that they were on vacation or had the day off. It has been impossible to get any problems with their website for home owners resolved even after tons of emails. There seems to be a breakdown in communication between Divosta and it's customers.. The quality of the workmanship is average. There are areas where the stucco is missing on the exterior, ...

Disappointment

Maybe I set my expectations a bit high. Divosta had a good name which is why I chose to buy into this community. There were many deficits during our walk through which the foreman promised to correct prior to closing. The closing itself was postponed multiple times due to supply chain issues and from an initial closing date in October of 2021, we finally closed in March 2022. We have still not moved in since there have been multiple issues that need attention. From electric, plumbing, tile, painting, stucco, cabinetry and issues with appliances. I can only say that if we had held off on ...

Felt super rushed from he start especially during the design process. 3 Hours to select everything? really? Trustworthiness was loss when my discussion with Brian about the need and purpose for me purchasing Tankless Water Heater which was not going to meet my needs with the model Divosta was going to install but Brian never mentioned that and when I escalated to his boss (Justin) his word was taken over mine the customer therefore they refuse to resolve the issue by simply installing a Recirculation Pump for less than $1000. Also was told I could get the color scheme I wanted for the ...

The overall building process was very slow even understanding there were material delays. Our home went for extended periods of time where nothing was being done simply due to improper scheduling of trades. Upon inspection of our home we found shorty craftsmanship and carelessness from the subcontractors. Plumbing piping to the main drain was broken underground causing overflow downstairs 4 days after moving in, bowed doors were installed causing the closet to not open properly, towel racks fell off the walls from crappy mounting, faulty breakers had to be replaced to make the microwave work, ...

My experience with the Sales Representative Linda was very good! She did a fine job! My Field Manager Nadine, was excellent. I have to say, she was on top of everything & everyone! She is a very hard worker & has to tolerate a lot of nonsense & disrespect from many ignorant people! The Builder should respect the fact that these two women do their job right! It's very sad that they have to cover the Builder's Back for their Contractors SHOTTY work to begin with in order to CLOSE on house!! I lived in my house for 1 month with DEAD plants out my door before they were replaced! I have an ...

The pool & pool deck was perfect. Roof, exterior stucco & soffit were top notch. Inside, the walls and ceilings were excellent. The tile floors, shower floors, and trim work were horrible. Shoddy craftsmanship for the price of this home. Corner joints that didn't match up, with much too much caulk to hide the mistakes. One of the worst grout jobs I have ever seen (have quite a bit of experience in construction). Finishing jobs like this would NEVER be accepted up in the where I came from.

DiVosta is building a tract home. Don't try to make any changes no matter how minor. If it is not on their option list, forget about it. Make sure any issues on pre-closing walk-through are documented, and photographed. After purchase follow up repairs are not timely. Finally, I suggest that one not use Pulte Mortgage. I had to repeatably submit the same document, use a highlighter for the underwriter to see the requested information. I finally gave up and went elsewhere for funds.

My family and I recently bought a house through DiVosta. If I were to say it was the best experience I’ve ever had, it would be a lie. Building through DiVosta is an experience I never want to experience again. I was expecting things would be handled by the builder and my realtor, but this was not my experience. I had to check on the house almost everyday to make sure everything was going appropriately. Very poor communication on issues that came up during the build, and even when it came time for closing, the process was atrocious. I have never been so stressed. There were even ...
