Delay after delay very dirty, no cleanup while working. Sliding doors not sealed and don't roll smoothly. Garage floor a disgrace and needs painted in order to cover up scars and drywall mud that could not be cleaned up

The tiles are uneven. None of the outlets in the bathrooms work. Concrete drips are all over the floor. Beautiful home. Great neighborhood. Terrible consultant, Brent in particular is a used car salesman. The new manager of his is a very nice lady. She’s helpful. Look out for hidden fees.

Poor communication Sloppy work

Poor communication with process of build, closing was several hours and keys were lost along with gate access passes. Work is sloppy. Inside baseboards are primed but not painted, bathroom shower knobs mismatched and shower not working. AC not working, paint is sloppy and not flat. Kitchen electrical is not working right. Very bad smell in house and your workers stated there is something dead and rotting in the walls. Ac not working. Worked with several project managers that were all not familiar with the work or the process.

First, I love my new home with just a couple of reservations. I'm a foody and love to cook but it is impossible to use the broiler without setting off the fire alarm. Why? Because my home, the Cascadia model, doesn't have a kitchen exhaust fan. Even with opening all of the windows, it is impossible to cook a steak without setting off the fire alarm. Second, DiVosta claims to be an energy efficient builder. The amount of water I waste getting hot water to the kitchen and the master bedroom is obscene. The house was finished without any input from me. Their sales and design reps never contacted me to make this experience a personal one. It was like buying a spec house. I lived in another state and couldn't be here to ask questions and receive answers.

We were very excited during the building phase. There were some issues during the build but our sales agent stayed on top of them. We do believe it is a structurally sound home. But when we moved in and took a closer look, the workmanship regarding the finishing details was questionable. Our punch list has many items to be addressed. I am disappointed in the grout work on the tile. Divosta tried to fix it, but it should have been down right the first time. Some one stroke two of my paint samples and items that came with my dishwasher and washer/dryer. Divosta has yet to give me the stolen paint and other items! Just stay on top of them while you are building your house!!!

Defects taking way too long to address

Have a list off about 20+ items to fix. Finally after living here 3 weeks, multiple contractors Stopped by to fix some items on my list. 5 done, 15 or more to go. Frustrating since Nobody contacted me to review the list of items before common out. So a few left and told me to submit a new ticket. So now I have to start again and probably Wait a few more weeks.. a 3 x 2 inch hole in the wall next to my tankless water heater Is a major concern , with all the rain, water is getting into the open hole in the exterior wall, Who knows when it will be fixed. Nicely built home in a great location. Our field manager has been very helpful. However, from the business end, DiVosta was very unpleasant to deal with. They refused to give us even one additional day to close on our home without charging extra, even though my wife had to work & we live far away. Our real estate broker who has been doing business in the area for 30 years, said that she had never encountered a firm less willing to accommodate their clients in all her experience & that she will never do business with them ever again.

Great community,. but it seems the houses are going up so quickly, there are a number of quality control issues. We have had people in and out of our house every day since we moved in to fix stuff. That being said, they are very responsive and get things fixed quickly.

Divosta has entered a "High End" market and has quite a ways to go to live up to its intended goal. Workmanship is acceptable but surely not high end. Work in progress has to continually be redone because the hired workman are insufficiently trained and hired on the basis of the least expensive wages they can get. This results in poor workmanship and frustration from a buyers perspective. You definitely get what you pay for. I am happy but i could be much happier if the workmanship was better. Any outside repair person always remarks about how they don't understand why certain things were used in the build such as "why were these wires used?" Seems like they use the cheapest vendors, no one was supervised as long as they job looked complete they moved on. How many days of work am i going to miss to fix all these issues? Too much warranty work to be done after move in. Floors warped and known issue with a support beam not to level in all of their townhomes. walls uneven, all appliances needed multiple service (hot water heater, washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove (6 times), dishwasher, garage door opener). Painters had to repaint multiple walls from nail pops and wavey walls, barely any paint on the walls. Every trade wants to blame another trade. Pulte/Divosta is too concerned with getting units moved into and not concerned with quality of workmanship.

Initial contact about problems was good. However, followup was generally poor. I am surprised about the superficial finishing and workmanship, Looks good but takes several weeks to find problems.
