Poor customer service in all regards. It seems that now that the real estate market is doing very well, people just don't care. Frankly, it's ridiculous. Poor response to minor issues. They tell you they will take care of it, but never do. One person tells you one thing then the next person says something different. I always thought DiVosta was a quality builder... Boy, was I hoodwinked!!!

When a home is 'built' in only four months, there is little time for attention to details. Receiving service after move-in has been slow and the 'customer service' representative hasn't been responsive.

Walk thru was conducted prior to settlement. The items were never followed thru for its completion. We closed almost two months back. Issues are still outstanding. Similar issues with management company who never gave us the second car gate access decal and the one they gave never worked.

At this time, the above "stars" are all I can give. Overpriced homes and we haven't lived here for more than 6 weeks and already our HOA has gone up. Our sales manager didn't even meet and greet us to give us a "congratulation" and hand us our keys and papers and now we fell through the cracks with HOA issues. Our construction manager did the best he could with vendors not coming by to get the house in order for the closing. Our warranty person is useless. The initial purchasing sales person and process was good. There was a major delay in completing the villa due to many circumstances. Unfortunately the communication during that time was not always trustworthy. I simply wanted to know the reason for delays. I Would Not Recommend Divosta / Pulte!

Based on our experience, would not recommend a Divosta / Pulte home to family or friends. Didn't meet promise dates, poor communications from Sales, Catch-Me-If-You-Can build quality. Subcontractors don't respect your home, and Divosta / Pulte did little to hold them accountable. We had over 150 items on our 'punch list' to be corrected before closing. Neighbor's toilets clogged after a week due to install errors, and this week, the whole community had a 'do not flush' order while main waste pipes were cleared of construction waste. POOR WORKMANSHIP IN ALL AREAS

TOP MANAGEMENT INSISTED ON AN IMPRACTICAL HOME COMPLETION DATE AND HELD THE PROJECT MANAGER TO THAT DATE. I WAS ASSURED THAT QUALITY WOULD NOT SUFFER UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES BY THE SALES TEAM. HOWEVER, DRYWALL, PAINTING, TILE WORK, APPLIANCE AND CABINET INSTALLATION, PLUMBING, ROOFING, AND CARPENTRY WERE DEFECTIVE IN THE BUILD PROCESS. WE WERE INFORMED THAT OUR MANDATED PULTE CLOSING DATE COULD NOT BE MET THREE QUARTERS OF THE WAY ON OUR 1260 MILE DRIVE TO THE CLOSING. WE COULDN'T BE MORE DISAPPOINTED IN THE ENTIRE PROCESS.

Divosta Experience

We recently moved into our new house. Our total build out took about 1 year. Our original move in date was supposed to be August. We moved in officially December 31. It was frustrating as the date kept getting pushed back in 1 month intervals leading my family to constantly have to move from short term rental to short term rental. Also, we closed without our house completely being finished which is ok because we agreed to this. However, there seems to be no urgency whatsoever to get our house finished now that we have closed. We have multiple issues that need addressed.

It is such a disappointment with the 7-page typed punch list of items that need to be fixed after we moved in. The list continues to grow. This home was not at all move in ready and the field manager was never seen on site to monitor the contractors and did not fix items throughout the build of the home that were sent to him. We moved in with wet paint and wet grout, have already had a roof leak, and fuses keep shutting off. It has been a horrible experience and I am just praying that everything will be resolved.

From a sales high to a New Owners low

You will wait a long time to have items corrected under the warranty process. For the amount that was paid for the house, many items should have been corrected and or inspected prior to closing so the new owners do not have to hire an independent Home Inspector. When I asked why the toilet supply line was installed on an angle (not professional at all) I was told, well, you know plumbers. I guess this is why one of my electrical boxes in loose? Ignorance is bliss I guess since we only have 1 year to file our claims.

Poor Construction work in many areas

The home was built with trusses that were on the ground for over 2 months and were moldy when installed. The carpentry work is sub-standard (doors that didn't close or were cut too short, loose hinges, etc.) The pool skimmer flap was just floating in the pool and there were globs of Gunite on the pool tile and coping. The wall paint was so thin that we had to repaint the walls before we moved in, the wall texture is hard to even describe as it is inconsistent throughout the home. Poor quality, basically we closed on a house that DiVosta should be embarrassed to call "completed". My bad for going thru with the closing. Now we have blue tape everywhere to note the warranty issues, which are slow and so far issues they say are fixed are clearly not fixed. Beachwalk is an awesome location with awesome neighbors, but DiVosta has been a big disappointment unfortunately.

Putting up houses too quick, not enough managers

Beautiful house, but too many serious issues like water leaks (before the storm). Not enough experienced personnel to oversee the process and ensure quality. Communication slips when things get busy and homeowner is left to fend for themselves. Their building process can not deal with supply chain issues in a systematic , orderly process although the managers do their best. Warranty issues take a long time to get resolved.
