As an architect and client construction manager, I have high standards for what I expect of my designers and contractors. I know how difficult it is to find quality workers right now, especially in these prosperous times. However, I cannot overlook the overall poor craftsmanship, especially in regards to finishes, on display in my home. I feel I headed off may structural and other "buried" to the untrained eye issues. My best wishes go out to those who do not catch issues as they arise during construction. But, the poor finishes were too much for me to keep up with. I got to the point where I just figured I would fix them on my own, because every time "professionals" addressed issues, they made the situations worse. In regards to Pulte, in many respects, they performed very well (Mortgage folks for example). But, beware, salespeople are salespeople. Their job is to sell. Take notes every step of the way and verify with the people who will actually build your home.....as well as the HOA folks. Ask the same question and you'll probably get (3) different answers, at (3) different times. And, nobody want to say "yeah, that's my responsibility - I'll take care of it". We made the mistake of trusting people. Don't do the same. All that being said, we love our home. But, in order to feel that love, we have expended way too much time and effort of our own than we should have. ... More

Had the best experience!!

We basically have no qualifications in the building industry. We leaned on the experts at The Veranda. Having just moved in, 2 months, we had a problem with the air conditioner that was promptly taken care of. We have a problem with our pool heater, which has not been taken care of. We, like many other people, wonder what happens after the sale. When we were buying, the service was excellent. Starting with Lisa, our salesperson, to Adam, our project manager, we were very happy and satisfied. The verdict is still out on the subcontractors and how they will handle any issues that may arise.

Most subcontractors are on piecework contracts. We have found a few of these companies to be poorly managed and their workers lack training. Painter has many items to correct and was a no show for first appointment. Kitchen cabinet had to make two tries to correct a pull out shelf that kept coming off the track.

A dedicated builder with core focus on quality and customer satisfaction. Divosta was with us side by side guiding us on what home suited our budget and then building the home to the specifications that suited us. We are extremely pleased with the entire process and most of all the final product of our home. Divosta has certainly lived up to the high quality their brand demands.

Great team from sales through construction management. Everyone was responsive and professional.

The new home process went smoothly from selections to financing through build and into closing. We're very satisfied with the quality of our new home.

Main problem is cardboard on corner of master bathroom is still there and during walk through she said it would taken care of. Several problems on construction has been detected but was told to wait until the 11th month to report them. Also 7 or 8 bushes are dead in our landscaping

We are loving our new place and feeling like is still a dream.

Things to stay on top include communicating with the person that schedules the closing. In our case, we scheduled the sale of our old home based upon the feedback from the project manager. Our new home was ready two weeks before we were and we had to negotiate an earlier closing date than expected. Since we were paying cash for our new home, we had to close on our old home first.

Any questions or problems I have had has been dealt with quickly & professionally. Very pleased & happy with our new home

The experience with DiVosta has been wonderful so far. Torrey Made the process easy and kept us informed of progress. Out field managers Nathan and Arron have been extremely responsive. Grate experience!!

We have truly enjoyed our new home from DiVosta homes, it has been a worry free experience that has surpassed our expectations. We have been out of state when our house was build and we were kept appraised in every phase of the building process . They have sent us pictures of progress and the communications has been excellent.

I was very please with the communication and responsiveness of the Divosta. The finished product was exactly as expected, and any minor issues we had after move-in, were promptly addressed.

Made a decision on the spot on my 1st visit & I am happy that I did it. Built the house & finished it in less than four months. The house is beautiful & I am enjoying the house.

While we haven’t actually moved in yet, we fell in love with the Cascadia Duplex when we saw the model. Everything moved quickly once we decided to purchase and we were quite satisfied with the communication from DiVosta throughout. We had the opportunity to see our house via Facetme during construction and our Field Manager sent us photos. When we actually saw the house for the first time last week we were delighted with every aspect. There was just one small problem (rust spots on the tub), but as soon as we reported it we had a response the next day and a follow up phone call to schedule repairs. Communication with sales office/warranty personnel is poor. Was put off by unfriendly sales clerks who think they are better than everyone.
