Builder only seemed to care about getting money, many workmanship & quality issues

Overall the experience has been very disappointing for the expense of the house we purchased. Builder only seemed interested in taking our money and building as fast as possible. Quality of finishes is lacking and have needed warranty work. There were no proactive updates during construction process as promised, unless we asked. There has been consistently very poor communication and follow up, unless we pushed for it. Numerous construction quality issues still being worked on months after closing. The people are nice, but the delivery and quality of the work needs improvement.

There doesn't appear to be anyone involved in our home to be dedicated or committed to getting the issues resolved in a timely manner - there is no sense of urgency by anyone!!! We have a $10K zero corner sliding glass door that hasn't worked and we're still waiting to have it repaired after 7 weeks.

Cheap materials for high end prices

More than helpful to purchase a home but come time to close there were many things not explained to me in the process so that when it was time to close I was left very disappointed that things were not the same as the model home I was shown. The quality of workmanship was less than par. The cabinetry I paid for an upgrade for all wood was thermafoil. The tile work was sloppy. The foundation is not level. Neither buying nor selling (our last house) has been a terrible experience, especially with the abject stupidity of Divosta. Things have been constantly breaking or in need of some sort of remediation (on an almost daily basis). Their shortsightedness is both costly to them and the buyer. Our Divosta build experience has left us lamenting 2 questions: 1) Is there anyone on the Divosta build team who does their work right the first time? and 2) Does Divosta ever fully finish a home? Our construction manager never communicated with us until about three weeks to closing stating that DiVosta was not going to meet closing schedule. Eventually we closed after another delay. Dealing with Pulte mortgage was a nightmare. I was sent a recap of the loan documents there approximately five issues including the wrong sales price and missing about 70% of my assets. The loan people didn’t know how an insurance annuity works. I gave up and paid cash. Your quality process is atrocious, your trades don’t cleanup afterwards leaving paint, grout and mud on the floors we paid $40k extra for. ...

The quality of workmanship leaves alot to be desired. Lots of damaged to impact sliding glass doors, doors didn't lock, wrong handles on doors with daylight showing all around the handles. The employees talk a good story, but once you close it is almost impossible to get them to come back & fix items. This is my opinion.

This is our third home that we have built, and the worst experience due to timely in getting the home completed, workmanship of the home, and just the way it was all addressed towards the home owner. Too many issues not completed properly.

Beautiful homes, great people within the community. Lots of pain and suffering to get to completion. Deleted over 5 months taking T total build time of 15 months. Hard to get repairs. Imported timely after sale closed. Disappointed with all the commitments by Divista that didn’t happen. Divosta is still telling home buyers unrealistic delivery durations.

Been living in my home for almost 2 months now. Received a call that our gas range was being delivered, no one told us that the one we already had was not the correct one. Gas range was delivered and couldnt be connected so now it is sitting in my living room. Also, my FPL account is sitting in limbo because there was no inspection in the beginning which is required for service to be activated. We were told lies from the beginning and now things are still a mess. Horrible experience!

First of all we had to tell construction the office window was off by three inches and not centered the double den doors. The framing in the shower was hanging over the shower pan three inches. An a nice note on the front block wall “ chip away” because the block was laid a little short as proven by the overhang in the shower pan 3”, the den window 3” off. All because the supervisor doesn’t check the jobs. Secondly the second story was supposed to be railing, they built the knee wall instead. We had to tell them to correct it. The worst home buying experience from beginning to end

From the dishonesty of the sales team about expectations and what’s included to the horrendous workmanship of ALL aspects of the build; I would never recommend a Pulte hone. What a disappointment. DiVosta used to have a great reputation as a builder however since they’ve merged there is no quality control and they hire the most unskilled workers to build these expensive homes. And they don’t stand by there warranty. Pulte determines what needs to be fixed and are not aligned with what a customer and owner of the home feels needs to be replaced. Run don’t walk away from a Pulte home !!!

Vitek just left the house for the fifth time and our TV is still screwed up. One of the cords just dangles down in front of the wall and now they’ve washed their hands of it. They’re now forcing us to have to deal with going to Pulte and turn it in as a warranty claim and telling us that you’re gonna have to tear the wall apart to get the cord fish through the wall because somebody put a fire break where all of the cords run through. Manager appears to be sincere and concerned but issues do not get resolved. He would listen and agree that something had to be fixed but it never was. The contractor would move on to the next phase, never fix was reported.. and then the manager would not pursue it. When I would inquire with a direct question like has the replacement been ordered. Possible catastrophe in the making!

Major problem: there is water seeping into our home. The grout is wet. The baseboards are getting wet. No response from the warranty people.
