Chris is the best construction manager I have ever worked with He is excellent in details and response times to any issues I have had. He takes great pride in his work and customer service

We closed sooner than expected and certain things still needed attention which we were told would be fixed soon after-but now it’s slow and hard to get the attention needed. There are a number of issues that we need help with and the HOA representative does not respond with help- 1. We can’t get any mail until the post office puts a certain lock on the box and no one seems to know who is in charge of that- PLUS, the only reason I know that is that a neighbor told me- not the HOA rep! Our Nest doorbell doesn’t work properly and we’re not sure who to ask to work on that- it’s not the construction crew…. Please advise! ... More

We are disappointed in the overall experience and the net result. We should have been told about the rifle range next door. The delay on the restaurants was also a negative surprise. The strict "production builder" excuse is inefficient and certainly not customer friendly. DiVosta is not responsible for the overall declining market but reality is that we paid more than the house is worth.

Thank you very much. Zorinel was terrific to us, going above and beyond from start to finish. She was a huge reason we decided to purchase at Avondale. Erik our Construction Manager was very knowledgeable and responsive. We had a terrific experience working with both of them. Thank you!

The overall experience was good. The sales office was knowledgeable and accommodating and the closing was fairly smooth. Our project manager did a great job responding to most issues pre and post closing, and was quick to address/correct as necessary. The development is beautiful with lots of amenities. However, post closing, we experienced other issues that the builder is not addressing or responding to. Most importantly is the A/C unit - the temperature throughout the house varies and in some areas feels as though there is little to no cool air at all. The master bedroom is uncomfortably warm even with temperature set at 70 degrees. The HVAC company has been out to check and suggested that the system (selected by Pulte) is not large enough to accommodate the space and there could possibly be issues with insulation. Apparently, several other homeowners are experiencing the same issue. Unfortunately Pulte has yet to respond. ... More

Divosta is not a custom home builder. If you want to have 1-3 options to pick from this is the home for you. Our home was over $1.3 million and we found it very frustrating that we weren't able to customize the way we wanted it. The upcharges for paint and cabinets is high so you won't pick them. The selections are limited and they lock you into your design picks very early and they do NOT allow any changes. The building supervisor did a great job, we were just unhappy with the outcome of the home since we wanted a custom home. The community is done very nicely and it was disappointing that we will not be living in the home but we decided to sell it and start over with another builder that allowed us to customize the way we wanted. ... It was a horrific experience and still is!!!!!!!!!!!

We were forced to close rather quickly with unfinished work. Getting people back to complete the job has been very stressful. No one wants to take ownership for unfinished work it is blamed between construction and warranty.

Easiest home purchase ever! Very organized and professional.

Over a month before we closed on our home we noticed the landscaping company had put a very large growing tree almost on our property line in the back yard. We had many conversations with Pulte’s people about moving the tree to the left hand side of the common land where another tree is but it’s dying. Prior to closing we were told that Pulte would move the tree. We are having a screen enclosure put up for many reasons but one big reason is the amount of bugs. It is not possible to have the screen enclosure as long as the tree is there.

We are extremely happy with our Product Manager Brandon. Also working Andy in warranty dept is a pleasure. He’s responsive and works with you to resolve any issues.

In today’s business environment, where customer service can often feel lacking, we were genuinely impressed by the customer service experience. Both Zorinel and Seth were highly responsive and went above and beyond to address our needs and concerns without hesitation. Zorinel, our sales representative and Seth, our construction manager, made our DiVosta experience smooth and pleasant.

My home construction process went very well. My CM was a good communicator and he was very responsive. But....6 weeks after closing my pre-closing punch list plus subsequent warranty lists are still not resolved. I have had to really raise a fuss, which I don't like doing. Multiple emails, warranty requests and follow UPS aren't working. And the sewer backed up in my home and no one has offered to help sanitize that mess. I had to clean it up and complain until they finally sent someone in to test for mold, bacteria (almost 2 weeks later,). That is very disappointing. Will I buy another Divosta home? Probably not. ... We purchased our home in this community after a year of searching, drawn by the appealing community plans and Divosta's solid reputation. Our journey began in February, and I was fortunate to monitor the construction process closely. I communicated all of the concerns that I noted directly to Zach, the construction manager, who was consistently patient and receptive. I have no complaints about his professionalism or the way he handled everything. However, there are a number of issues that I would strongly urge every potential buyer to take note of. I am disappointed with the quality of the interior paint job throughout the house. Despite being informed by Zach that the walls had been painted and touched up multiple times, I discovered that when I applied blue tape to the wall, the paint came right off with it. The finish appears sloppy and unprofessional throughout the house. Additionally, we have encountered several ongoing issues. These are the most serious. 1. There were numerous problems with the kitchen cabinets and range hood. Some were caught by Zach and another DiVosta inspector, others were noted by me. Most have been resolved but we still have a cabinet door that has the handle positioned incorrectly, a problem I flagged four months ago, but it remains unaddressed because allegedly every time the vendor orders the door, it is shipped in the wrong color. 2. The top of the washing machine is scratched, likely from being used by a contractor as a step stool, and has not been replaced. The dryer also has visible damage, which was only poorly touched up with paint that does not match the color of the machine. 3. The outlets in the bedrooms that were supposed to be switched were not, requiring further work and two visits from an electrician to correct. 4. The cleaning service sent to our home was inadequate; despite multiple visits, we ultimately had to hire our own company for proper and thorough cleaning. 5. A contractor damaged the microwave after using it to heat food. This was AFTER the house was completed. 6. Contractors used our bathrooms, even though there was no water in the toilets. This is a very common problem here, even though there are port-a-potties on every lot. 7-The bathtub in one of the bathrooms was damaged to a point where it had to be re-glazed. Again, Zach caught this and took care of it, but it's just really sloppy and careless work on the part of the vendors. Currently, we are working with Raul, who is handling all of our warranty issues. He is very pleasant and super responsive. He is actively working to resolve the outstanding concerns that have been presented to him and I am confident that he will be the same with anything that we find in the future. Overall, while we appreciate the community the efforts of both Zach's and Raul, the finish work and attention to detail by the contractors has been disappointing. Would we buy another home from DiVosta? Hard to say at this point. Time will tell. ... More

Overall, our experience was very good throughout the process and now being in our home for a couple of weeks and surviving 2 hurricanes, our home held up to the test! Our only issue would be during the Design Phase. As important as this step in the process is, we believe more time should be spent with us making final decisions. We were in no time-line crunch but our decisions needed to be made with little time to delay or make changes. The other frustration we had was with Coast-to-Coast Pools and responses to our pool build. If they pride themselves with creating a great experience to this BIG investment to our home, they should have provided more attention to details. From the very beginning of our home purchase Divosta ensured that we were continually kept informed of the progress of our new home.Everyone from sales , design and construction manager were courteous , and professional. Buying a new home can be stressful but Divosta made it a enjoyable and positive.

We are extremely pleased with the timeliness of the build and have had no major issues with the home. Further, Hurricane Milton just made landfall only 25 miles from our home and there was absolutely no damage from the hurricane, not even a single lost roof shingle! Our hurricane rated windows and all the other precautions taken by the builder kept our house sealed up nice and tight. We are very pleased!

It took only from March to August to built our new home. Very much appreciated. All is looking good. Unfortunately after the first month two hurricanes hit our area. But no issue or damage to our house. Very happy.

We are very happy with our new vacation home purchase. Our Sales Person (Jessica C.) was extremely helpful with the whole process. Our Construction Manager (Patrick C.) was excellent. Any issues we had, have been dealt with in a timely manner. Beach Walk is a wonderful community and is in a great location for Beach access. Looking forward to many enjoyable years.

The entire process was fairly straightforward until the end. Divosta Sales Manager was very persistent to close on the home when it wasn’t even completed. Being out of town this makes it very difficult to continue adjusting schedules and travel. Divosta should ensure house is completed prior to setting a closing date.

The actual build process was overall great. Our Construction Manager kept us in the loop and updated throughout the entire process and was quite enjoyable to see. The quality of the over build is very good. Some minor things here and there you catch, but overall more positive than negative. The customer care has been good so far and have been helping take care of warranty related issues. Our major concern and something YOU should be very aware of is the community itself. We were sold that our new community is a "family" community. If you are a "family" looking for a new home, I would thoroughly do your research before making a decision to purchase a property in one of these Divosta HOA communities that permit all ages to buy. The HOA rules set are very strict and many frown upon new families (with little kids) moving in. The perception is that these communities are not advertised as family communities, therefore, they are not. This is unacceptable. As a new family, in a brand new community we are being harrassed by homeowners who think they are in a "retirement" community. We are not felt very welcomed and feel very uncomfortable letting our child play outside our home and at the clubhouse. We also are not allowed to put up a swing set or little playground in our own backyard. BEWARE if you're a family looking for a new home.. ... More

Excellent experience with Julio from start to finish. Project was delivered on time, with no outstanding issues. Communication throughout the process was thorough. We really enjoyed watching the process through the pictures and video sent, and updates on inspections etc.
