It looks like they charge most cheapest contractors using cheapest materials.

My experience with Dan Ryan was great! The project manager was constantly updating us on the progress of our home. Also, he very responsive when we had questions. We love everything about our home and I would recommend Dan Ryan Builders for your next home purchase.

Dan Ryan has been a great experience so far. I have been in my home since the week of Thanksgiving 2020 and everything has been great so far. Small cracks in wall corners but nothing that major. Everything is pretty quiet in the house and all appliances are working just fine. I would love to see signs up or some kind of don't tresspass on property for neighbors and their dogs when they are coming to the side and front of my townhome. Overall it's been peaceful and great! The building team does a great job with the time they have but are rushed to complete the homes in very short timelines. This leads to a lot of oversite such as doors being hung incorrectly or missing flashing on the roof. The team is quick to come fix the problems but a lot of them are just oversight from the rushed timelines.

The process was a smooth one

I was surprised by the quality even though the price was competitive. Sales team shall notify if specific amenities are not available in the community. In our case, there was no trash pick up from the curb. We have to carry the trash to a dumpster.

During our home buying process our project manager was extremely responsive to e-mails, texts, phone calls, etc. He was more than happy to answer any questions that we had and responded to concerns during the home building experience and after. It is unfortunate that after we moved into the home, even after the blue tape walk through, there were numerous things that we noticed within the realm of below quality workmanship. For example, some of the corners were not measured correctly to form 90 degree angles with corners, there were two cracks in the shower after about 3 weeks of living in our home. I will say that the builder was very responsive with getting someone out to fix the problem with the shower walls. We unfortunately smelled smoke through our walls (and still do at times) and have heard sound from our neighbor. Our project manager gave us some advice, but it was ultimately up to us to talk to our neighbor. from start to end it was very cooperative team.

There were some concerns with the quality of workmanship. We have had to reach out to the warranty company on a couple of occasions. I think attention to detail and maybe rushing contributed to the issues we had. Everyone has been nice and returned phones during the process it just took a little longer than expected for someone to come out.

Experience was fine. Normal delays because of the pandemic. The house isn't perfect, but good enough.

I liked my project manager Zach a lot. This is my second build with Day Ryan, and unfortunately I found the workmanship sloppy and lacking. My first house by Dan Ryan was "perfect". The workmanship was outstanding. This time I think they cheaped out on some of the materials, and I found that disappointing.

Our PM was great — very responsive & informative. We enjoy this home as our first home but I overall I do think the quality of the home proves it was rushed to finish on time. I would 100% recommend paying to have painters repaint the walls because they paint Dan Ryan uses will show any & every mark. I’ve also noticed damage to walls. When we moved in we didn’t have hot water — that was resolved quickly but not a lovely first impression on move in day. It is a beautiful home, but definitely areas of improvement

Affordable, beautiful housing community that I believe I can start a family in.

The exterior of the house is beautiful. The interior could be better. We've got a lopsided sink in the the half bathroom, the toilet is wobbly. We mentioned this to the builder and he assured us the person fixed it before they put the floors down. When we did our walk thru we marked the areas that needed to be fixed certain areas were not done properly. The floor in the half bath has little gaps. The corner wall of the outside bedroom was suppose to be fixed it is not. It is now falling a part... The builder did say he was going to have someone to come by to fix it, it will be 3 mo since we moved in and still no one has come by to fix the corner wall.. We get that there are going to be flaws and we expect that. The little flaws doesn't bother us its the one that really stick out that do. ... More

Overall it was a good experience. The PM and the Sales Personnel were a pleasure to deal with. Unfortunately, the Tradesmen did not continue the experience. We love our new house but there are many small details we are seeing that we should not be seeing. So far, the main items are all cosmetic like, screw pops, joint and screw lines that are causing a "wavy" affect, trim work that is gapped, etc. However, the most disappointing items are the window casings and the cleanliness of the house when turned over to us. The window casings are so non-square, visible to the eye, that it has made several windows a bear to have blinds installed. Eventually we will be framing them in, so we will correct the issue, but we shouldn't "have" to correct this on a new house. The other issue was the cleanliness of the house on turnover. There's no reason why these houses are not gone over by a "professional" cleaning service prior to turnover. It's a small price to pay for the Builder, which would provide a personal touch and appreciation to their Customer. Overall, we have had an above-average experience and if we were to decide today on whether we would recommend this Builder, we would. We didn't expect a "luxury" build, but we did expect a little more attention to the details. ... More

The home buying process was smooth and I haven’t had any issues yet.

Dan Ryan builds affordable housing, compared to some of their competitors. Please understand that you won't have the highest quality product or craftsmanship, but you will get a good build. I think Dan Ryan saves you money by using not the best labor staff. Overall the sales and construction manager was easy to work with, and they both had a lot of knowledge on what they were selling and installing. I am happy with the purchase of our new home, and we love it and the neighborhood. With anything, time and research are always the best things. Would I go with Dan Ryan again? Yes, there are many home builders out there, but for the house you get and the area, this was a no-brainer for us. After I moved in, issues were no longer a priority to property manager. I still do not have a privacy fence.. it’s May. I moved in, in Feb. I’ve asked about this several times. Dan Ryan builders did a rush job. Will never purchase from any home that uses Dan Ryan builders again.

A few after purchase issues, but overall I like where I live.

Great project manager and on site agent. We’ve been in the house for 3 months and already having issues with the the materials quality. Garage door issues, cracks in outdoor caulk, etc. The people who work at Dan Ryan are great, but I would not recommend the quality of the houses and the way they are built to anyone.

This is my second time living in a DanRyan home.First time was a brand new rental then I stepped out a bought the same design. I love my townhome but the quality of paint and overall workmanship sucks. I know a home settles but I have only been in my home for three months and it’s a lot of things I’m noticing daily that is a result of rushing and poor quality.
